I am so happy I found deSoleil Spray Tanning! This is the best spray tan I've ever had. And Jana is really nice and puts you at ease right away. The tan is awesome! It's very natural and It definitely lasts for 7 days, and for me because I followed the before and after-care to the "T" my tan lasted for about two weeks, and then just my upper neck and around my decolletage started peeling a bit. I applied some oil over my entire body for 30 mins and then scrubbed the rest of my tan off. Then I went back to Janna and she sprayed me another tan! lol I'm hooked!!! P.S. I have been going to Jana at deSoleil for a few years now and I always have a great experience. The tan always looks natural and beautiful! I am an extremely pale redhead so I was always afraid to try spray tanning for fear of looking orange, too dark, or unnatural. But at deSoleil it always looks just right. From the moment I walked into DeSoleil Spray Tanning I was totally impressed. Being a "tanning novice" (this was my first professional tan in preparation for my upcoming bridal shower); I was a bit trepidatious concerning my fair freckled skin - with visions of dark brown cuticles and an "orange sheen" dancing in my head. However, Jana the owner (and I believe sole employee) immediately put me at ease with her humor, professionalism, and beautiful studio. Even though I was 10 minutes late due to getting stuck in the "fishhook" gridlock at 6pm on a Thursday afternoon Jana totally took it in stride, letting me babble on and crack jokes while filling out the necessary paperwork - all while she stood by, sincerely laughing with me - which helped to immediately put me at ease after a stressful workday and mentally "transition" into some personal pampering. Seeing as this was my first ever tanning experience I was a little lost on the "process" and Jana fully walked me though it. I was led to a beautiful adjoining changing room complete with lotion, fresh white towels, and plenty of shelving/hooks for your jewelry, clothes and accessories. (There's even a designer sink and faucet for any needed freshening up prior to the tan application). The tan is applied in your underwear and/or bathing suit (I choose my black underwear, although she does have disposables if you need them) and after stripping down to just my skivvies and taking a deep breath I was ready. Jana only schedules one client at a time so her attention is complete and totally personalized - which I found reassuring due to not having the greatest of body images. I workout when I can and can typically be found in a tank top and jeans, leaving my pear-shaped tummy, thighs, and rear rarely (if ever) exposed to the light of day. Due to this fact I was surprised when I never once throughout the session felt embarrassed or self-conscious. Once again Jana put me totally at ease. During the application process I stood standing in various poses in front of Jana while she aimed an applicator that resembles the size and shape of a hairdryer at my body. A fine mist is shot out that is refreshingly chilly (on a muggy June day), and after awhile my pale freckled skin began to glow! The mist itself never felt oily or greasy (although it's packed with aloe and moisturizers), and after she was finished I could already see definitive lines where my underwear met my skin. After examining myself in the mirror I was shocked at how natural and even the tan looked - which of course made me feel absolutely "model beautiful" which I must say is a feeling I hardly ever experience. And as if this heady self-affirming process couldn't get any better the whole thing only cost me $45.00! I can't even get a good pedicure without paying close to $30 and up! I went here last June, and had never done a spray tan before. The set-up was clean and there was a private area for changing. Jana, did my tan for me, and was very professional. I had a great tan and it lasted about 7 days. But I was swimming in the ocean so that is probably why it started to fade. The color was even and it darkened gradually. Very clean and organized place. The woman who does the tanning (can't remember her name) was extremely welcoming and made me feel comfortable as I was half naked in front of her. My tan didn't last as long as she said but I do believe it was because I was not moisturizing enough, and I did look a tad but orange but that's expected. The tan looked great -- it's been about seven days and it's definitely starting to flake but I think that's because I didn't moisturize nearly as much as I should. I recently received my first spray tan from Jana at deSoleil. Her little salon is very cute and equipped with all that you need. Jana put me at ease as I stood there in basically nothing as she sprayed me. I loved my tan. Abut 4 days after getting the spray tan, I noticed two white patches had appeared. I finally called Jana 8 days after my initial visit to ask how I could blend them. She told me to in so she could see and retouch. She wasn't sure what had caused the patches, possibly an oil based sunscreen, and she offered to spray me again at no cost!! I will definitely go back. This was my first spray tan, and I'm very satisfied. She did a great job and the color looks good, maybe a bit orange, but I'm very pale so any fake tanner is gonna look a bit orange. I felt very comfortable and left feeling knowledge able about how to maintain and take care of the tan. Not sure if I will do this regularly as for me it's too much maintenance and money for me, but that a personal thing. The only thing I didn't like was my face, feet, and hands, went pale way faster than the rest of my body and I was a tad self conscious about this. Not sure how to avoid this in the future. Wow! I thought getting a spray tan would be a bit awkward but Jana, the owner, made me feel so comfortable and my tan looks very even and natural. I've used tanning creams in the past but they sometimes streak or turn out uneven. Not so with de Soleil Spray Tanning. I'll not go back to tanning creams and will leave the tanning to Jana. Quick, reasonable and easy. Love this service and no more sun damage. read more
