My experience has been great. Chantelle is very helpful and courteous along with the rest of the staff. They all greet you with a smile. They have plenty of lotion for tanning before and after. If you don't want to buy a full bottle of lotion, they also sell small samples enough for one or two tannings. They sell jewelry, purses, and clothing you find in small Santa Cruz shops. Overall it's quick and easy and I have no complaints. If there is anything I wish they could change it would be to have more UV lay down Tanning Beds. read more

It's currently 92 degrees in Scott's Valley. Maybe turn the AC on? It's about 100 degrees in the salon. I have the decision of tanning or not but the poor girl working the counter is melting. OSHA requires that you keep the work place under 87 degrees. I'm not big on yelp reviews but I honestly feel bad for the employees. read more

This review is based on Ashley's customer service. I'm not sure if she's from the SV location or SC. I called yesterday hoping to get an appt for a spray tan since the initial place I scheduled an appt with cancelled on me last minute.. boo!! I called and told Ashley my circumstances and she said she'll need to speak with the owner and call me right back. SHE CALLED ME RIGHT BACK! Y'all have any idea how many businesses would say that and you'll never hear from them again?? A lot! Ashley called me back and accommodated my request -- but unfortunately due to scheduling conflict the proposed time did not work for me but the fact that she tried and went above and beyond was truly impressive! $21 for 9 minutes in the stand-up tanning booth... Other places charge $15. Please update or repair the fans in the tanning booth. It was extremely hot and one fan was not working and the other two were barley blowing air. And there was only one fan outside of the booth. A/C or lowering the A/C in the building would help cool the rooms. It would be great to have a mirror and tissues in the room too please. read more

I used to live smack in the middle of Silicon Valley so there were always so many tanning places to choose from. I was so shocked when I moved to Scotts Valley that they actually had a salon. I have a trip to Jamaica planned at the end of November and the only way I can tan is in a bed/booth. Ashley was the representative who got me all signed up. She's so sweet, so personable and just has that southern charm that warms your heart. Every time I come in she greets me as "Miss Patty". It always puts a smile on my face. Many of the other gals there are so sweet. This one young lady has her cute doggy with her at the salon to greet you once you walk in. She's always got a towel in the room for you and she keeps things running very smoothly while making you feel very comfortable and welcomed. I have had about four spray tans from here now and have been satisfied every single time. I went to a new person recently and the color was not quite what I wanted at first but that was not the fault of the artist, I just vocalized what I thought I wanted but it was not. The second time I returned, it was the same artist and I told her what I did and did not like and she nailed it! You have to understand that you might not get it right the first time, but the technique is supreme, the tan lasts long and never comes off in a gross way, and the staff is super friendly! I believe my artist was Lauren and she is such a gem! She makes you feel so comfortable when you are naked in front of her and is just so real!! Thank you all! read more

The place is clean and the people that work there are friendly; however - I started tanning at the beginning of June at 5 mins for session 1. I didn't notice a difference so I jumped to 7 minutes without question or issue for visits 2 & 3 and 8 mins at session 4 & 5. At session 6, they told me they got new bulbs and had to drop me to 5 mins for 2 sessions and then I could go back up to 8 mins. I understood safety and I didn't want to burn so I thought that was fine. After 4 visits and they let me go to 6 min. When I pushed back a little reminding what they told me "2 sessions and then back to 8", she said the owner is watching the time sessions and if the ladies that work there didn't do it 1 mins every other session, they would be in trouble with the owner. At this point, I'm 4 sessions in at the lower time of 5 mins so it's more than every other session and because they dropped me 3 mins and won't let me go back to 8 after 2 sessions as originally stated, my tan is fading. I now have to buy more sessions to eventually get my tan back to where it was a week ago. I overheard someone else complaining and the person at the desk said it was state requirement for new bulbs. That's weird.... I thought it was the owner monitoring the employees. At some point it becomes less about customer care and more about care for their bottom line. read more

Pretty dirty and broken down. They put the cleaning rags right next to your head. The ladder is stored right where anyone can climb up and perv on your tanning session. Many bulbs don't work. The glass on lay down is cracked and covered with clear tape read more

I did a 30 minute session in the Cocoon Infrared Pod for the very first time ever. Not only was it cheap in price, it was amazing. I've never done a infrared treatment before and I think I may now be hooked. There's a massager built in for the legs and back in which you can control the intensity of it. You also can control the temperature. I was sweaty afterwards but they provide a towel and a bottle of water. This place is very clean and the owner was very nice. I highly recommend trying the Cocoon Infrared Pod here. read more

NEVER OPEN. Also I went half an hour before it closed (which is 4 pm mind you) and they said no they were closed because there was a line, but I saw no one. If scheduling is hard for you like if you have a 9 to 5 job, don't buy tans by time period buy sets of them that won't expire. read more

Until today I would have had good things to say about this place. All of the ladies that run the reception have been exceptional but then there's Bailey. She was rude unprofessional, giggling with other "girls" who looked to be 30ish. She had no time to speak top me about what my options were since it was my last day of a $50 2wk deal that I got. Which turned out not to be a good deal for me or anyone else that works regular hours. Being closed weekends sucks too. But Bailey and her posse were the icing. I got there at 6:15 pm. They close at 7 and there were 2 people ahead of me. She said that they were "unfortunately" unable to accommodate me last day or not. And that it was just too bad. Really sad to say this because I went to this salon a lot before this happened. I signed a three month contract with them for the wellness pod and decided I did not like or need it. They told me I couldn't get off my contract or else I would have to pay a $50 fee. So I kept paying for three months and I was so excited to not be charged again after that (also I have not been in the salon for two months they can check the records) so I basically paid for two months with no services. Then they charged me on the fourth month! I called to get my money back and I was totally shocked. They said I need to "write an email" and since I never wrote an email I can't get my money back -even though I called the month before and the worker never told me that. They stole my money and I can't believe it. Just because they are desperate to keep there business does not mean they have to take my hard working money that I need to pay my own bills with.
