My kids are picky. I ordered a bunch of things to try, they loved everything. Absolutely will be ordering again.

I'm always of going to a place where the people working behind the counter are teenagers (exploiting child labor?), but I guess it's not my place to judge how families run their own businesses if I don't have all of the information. Hey, the service is great here, and the food is made quickly. We recommend the pad ki mao drunken noodle and the tofu with garlic sauce (that's more of a Chinese dish, no?). Warning for vegetarians, the pad Thai and pad see yu both have fish sauce. They were marked spicy but they weren't. The garlic one wasn't even particularly garlicky. But, it's good food, it's fast, and it's relatively cheap. Worth a visit! Check out the interesting approach to wall decoration- it looks like they painted the wall, and then dipped the roller in white paint and made some forms by splotching on paint from the length of the roller, and elsewhere, splotches from the end of the roller. The overall effect is almost what I might call hipster. Bonus points for good lighting and the absence of a tv screen. read more

Small take out Thai place serving terrific food. The lunch special at just over $8.00 is a ridiculous bargain. Here it includes a small tasty salad, two small pieces of shumi dumpings , an entree of choice and either can of soda / tea or soup and a side of jasmine rice. Wowed. Surprised they don't have desserts like sticky rice. Panang Curry had the right amount of heat for me. Most entrées are offered with choice of protein (shrimp, beef, chicken or tofu). So Green Thai Kitchen is designed like a typical Chinese takeout place with a few tables on the inside but my assumption would be that the majority of its business is done from takeout. If I were to base my rating solely on food quality and taste my rating would probably be 4 stars. Unfortunately due to my experience last night, there is no way I could rate it that high. We placed an order on grub hub for an $80 order to which it said the food would be ready in 30min, that's great. I showed up 30minutes later to the girl at the front desk telling me the order was not ready yet but soon, no problem. I waited... and waited... and waited... 30 minutes later I asked how much longer it would eb and they said they were waiting for one remaining item. Another 15minutes later I lose my patience and start to complain, then the last item came out, went through the order to be told they don't have the coconut rice that we had ordered and basically threw me back my $2 for that item. Listen I get it, they might have been swamped but make your food estimate accurate and say an hour. I waited 45min for my food after the initial 30minutes they told me so in total an hour and 15min, then to be told they didn't have an item, ridiculous! only after complaining did they offer me a free drink, no thank you, that's a joke. It's a joke especially after I heard them offer a discount to someone they had forgotten food for, I bet they didn't wait over an hour. Either way from the way they treated me and dismissed my legitimate complaints, no matter how I felt about the food, I will never return. read more

Food was really good and the delivery time was reasonable. I got the Thai lemongrass with chicken which was $10 and added shrimp for $3. I ate a lot of it and i had a full container left over for lunch and then some. Very generous amount of chicken and shrimp. Thai spring rolls were really good too. My boyfriend had the grilled sesame chicken with broccoli. Was pretty tasty but needed more sauce. I will definitely order again. read more

This place is unbelievably good! I have been in different thai places in the area and none of them taste as good as this place. They have reasonable prices and the staff is super friendly. So far I have tried the Thai Grilled Sesame Chicken, Spicy Basil Chicken, Ginger Chicken, Thai Pepper Chicken, Masaman Curry and Thai Lemongrass Chicken. All are excellent. Also their thai ice tea is really good!! Maggie always has a smile on her face for all her customers and the service is great. It is a small place with several tables. This area desperately needs a Thai option and THIS PLACE IS IT! Fabulously fresh, generous portions and finally a restaurant that offers TOFU as a real option that's cooked deliciously right! Ordered 2 Bento boxes (see back of menu) and the quality was spot on. I'm very impressed! The Bento dinner box includes a soup (ask for vegetarian and/or non-spicy it was gladly made to order!), shrimp shumai, main course, edamame and a side of sticky jasmine rice. Awesome food here, my new favorite spot for Pad Thai. It had the perfect amount of heat- not too spicy and not too bland, good flavor. Good size portions as well with lots of shrimp. Can't wait to try other stuff from the menu. If you like your pad thai spicy, I would ask for very spicy...they make it medium/tame by default, which is good in my opinion. You could always jack up the heat but not the other way around. Don't low-star them and complain if you don't ask for very spicy beforehand. It's funny that my favorite Chinese place and my favorite Thai place in Massapequa are both in the same little strip mall. read more

I don't know where to start. Place is a gold mine. They do it right here. The chicken pad Thai is spicy as shit, the pineapple rice is all time, and they deliver to me 6 miles away. And I mean this with absolutely no disrespect, but it's one of the only international food places where you can understand the person answering the phone. I like a challenge, but not when ordering my Chicken Satay. No joke, the place looks like garbage, especially being right next to that sketchy dive bar that doesn't even have QuickDraw, but the food is one of a kind. I have been to this place twice and I will be going back. The food is certainly a nice change from the hundreds of asian food places in the area. The woman at the counter is very friendly and inviting. The food tastes great. They give you nice size portions and dont skimp on the ingredients. The shrimp dish i had literally had at least 30 pieces of shrimp and the beef dish had nice size chunks of beef cooked properly and tender. The one thing I dont like is the parking at this strip is really bad. Especially on a Saturday night when there is no parking. Recommend for takeout only. read more

Came in here after craving pad Thai for weeks, and so glad I did! We ordered coconut fried rice,shrimp pad Thai, and Masaman curry. The coconut fried rice was savory and had just the right amount of coconut, really good. The pad Thai was absolutely delicious. It was buttery, sweet, and everything you'd want it to be. But the best thing we ordered was the curry! OMG, so-freaking-good, the best Masaman Curry I've ever had. Also, they were more than happy to exclude peanuts/cashews due to my allergy, and even threw in a spicy chicken soup on the house! Perhaps one of the most unique cuisines out there and also one of my favorites, with that in mind we've initiated "Thai Thursdays," so we ordered takeout and tried several entrees...Drunk man noodles, tom kha gai soup, pad Thai, glass noodles, green beans, Thai iced tea, etc...(not all for me, dinner for five). Probably some of the best Thai food I've had in the 'burbs. Definitely didn't taste like they were phoning it in. Would definitely order from here again. Leftovers for days too! read more
