I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by my recent experience ordering takeout from this restaurant through Uber Eats. I ordered Pad See Ew, which arrived in a sealed Staples shopping bag and was packaged in a standard black plastic takeout container with a clear lid. Everything seemed normal until I was about 95% finished with my meal. Out of nowhere, I bit down on something sharp. When I spit it out, I was shocked to discover that it was a piece of glass. As a result, my mouth was bleeding in two different places. Finding a chicken bone or a piece of cartilage in a meal is one thing, but finding GLASS is completely unacceptable and presents a serious safety hazard. What was almost as upsetting as the glass itself was the restaurant's response. I immediately called and asked to speak with a manager. After explaining what had happened, the reaction was surprisingly indifferent. I received little more than a casual "Sorry to hear that" and an offer of a refund. There was no apparent concern for my well-being, no effort to investigate how glass ended up in the food, and no sense of urgency regarding the seriousness of the situation. A refund does not erase the fact that I was injured while eating food prepared by this restaurant. Customer safety should be a top priority, and the lack of concern shown after such a dangerous incident was mind-blowing. I cannot recommend a restaurant that serves food containing glass and then responds with such a lack of concern when a customer is injured. Proceed with caution. read more

I ordered dinner here the other night. I was really excited to try since they had pretty good reviews. The food arrived earlier than expected, which was great. I ordered the wonton soup. I've never had wonton soup from a Thai place before. I love that they had spinach in there. So the wontons were great as well. I ordered my normal, which is Pad kee mao. I got it with chicken. I enjoyed the broccoli in there with the other vegetables. The noodles were cooked good as well. If you're looking for some good Thai, I would definitely try the spot. read more

So full of flavor, fresh veggies, and no shortage of lean slices of chicken. It was delicious. However, the edamame was slightly undercooked, and the pad thai left a lot to be desired. Menu prices are not reflective of the actual price. Website and menu match but final bill do not. Was told "that's the new price and we haven't update it yet". If I order online the price matched the menu. Also told us "we never have chilli in fish sauce" after we have been given said sauce on every occasion. My fiance and I came here because of the reviews and are happy to say that it was amazing!!! We got the Duck Roti and Garlic Edamame for appetizers. The garlic edamame alone is worth coming back for. The flavor was so good. I could lick the bowl haha For our mains, we got the Shrimp Pad Kee Mao and Chicken Massaman Curry. Both dishes were so good and the flavors were great. Certainly a cozy little spot and very busy on a Saturday night. Even for takeout. Finding parking nearby was tedious but in time a spot opened up. The menu is relatively standard except for the seafood option for most dishes. While the menu is standard the flavors are not. Ordered red curry, drunken noodles and pineapple rice. Curry with chicken, pineapple rice with shrimp and drunken noodles with seafood. The seafood was surprising, shrimp, scallops, calamari and even mussels out of the shells. The vegetables in the dishes were crunchy and vibrant in color, expected sort of soft but was very pleasantly surprised. They ask you what heat level you want. Got 3 on all the dishes. That's 3 out of 5. Rice and noodles were very pleasantly spiced. The red curry was fiery and delicious. Next time getting that level 5. Curious to see just how hot they can make it! My son would get heat number 5. Looks like hes not getting the heat 5 anymore just 2. I would get there Tum Kha soup with shrimp comes with only 3 Shrimp $7 yummy. Thai Green Leaf on Jericho Tpke in Northport has 4 shrimp for $5.50 You can get choice of Chicken, Shrimp, Vegetable or Tofu. The food is better here. Had a really yummy dinner here. Staff was super nice and the restaurant was clean and steadily busy. We started off with matcha iced teas which were very good (unsweetened). For appetizer we had the duck roti which was really tasty---Duck was tender and the sauce with the roti was a really good combo. The Tom yum soup with chicken was legit the best Tom yum soup I've ever had. It was spicy and had so much flavor, and I can't wait to have it again. For dinner I saw pork pad see ew and my friend had the pineapple special. The pad see ew was delicious and my friend enjoyed her pineapple special. I had some and it was very spicy (but she requested it like that). The price was also SUPER reasonable, I think $66 or something before tip! I'm not a big fan of Thai food but my husband had been wanting some Thai. I found this gem on yelp and decided to try it. Just WOW! We love the food here and in fact we went three times in a week! I've tried so many dishes that normally I wouldn't try and have enjoyed every single dish! Service is amazing! Staff are incredibly kind! Not the best Thai I've ever had. The soup was very bland and the tofu was not fried. Just raw hunks in the soup, so the texture wasn't all that great. It was very creamy and didn't have that brightness that is usually characteristic of thai cuisine. The chicken pad Thai wasn't very good. Excellent Thai food find in Huntington Village almost right next door to my gym, NYSC!! T was so sweet to me and made everything gluten free including the garlic edamame. I would give 5 stars but the portions were a little petite and I try to reserve my 5 for places like Asanebo and Morimoto aka Michelin star rated restaurants. I strive to be honest about perfection. Back to T at Thai Thai village...she is adorable and great and she knows how to interface with customers. She's excellent at managing this cute little Thai place!! My sate was delicious and the peanut sauce was great with a little spice but tolerable even for me. The ginger shrimp was really terrific! I will be back this week for more. Excellent Thai food with large portions. Pleasantly surprised with the variety of dishes. Really a bargain for lunch!!!

TLDR: bad food served with dirty gloves, rude service, mediocre portions, terrible crusty dried/hard (old) rice, and sugary soggy pad thai that was honestly pretty disgusting - but don't expect them to care that their food is bad. Weird/rude: Cook/owner comes out with bottle that looks like industrial cleaning fluid and just starts spraying behind us, while we were still eating, but realized that he was spraying the plants...because that couldn't wait until we left. Came here a few times before, not too bad, just went back again recently and had the worst dining experience. There was 1 other table dining there and had terrible service. After being seated, we had to try to get the attention of the waitress (who I think is also the owner) to order, who was cleaning another table with gloves on. She took our order with those same gloves on and brought out the salads with those same gloves she was just cleaning the dirty table with! We then were served our entrees (still wearing the same cleaning gloves), which were mediocre portions, but had the most crusty, hard rice, which was likely very old and left out to dry. It was even yellowish - I have never seen yellowish rice at a restaurant before. The chicken was tough and dried out, and shrimp was salty. The pad Thai noodles tasted like they had been soaked in sugar - I know that pad Thai should be slightly sweet, but this was ridiculous. The sauce was like syrup and honestly, quite disgusting. We were still waiting for just glasses of water, and when I went to get her attention to ask for water, she put up her finger and said, "I'm busy please wait" - it appeared she was printing the check for the other table eating there. When she came over, she says, "What do you need?" almost rudely like we were inconveniencing her. When I asked for glasses of water, she says, "Oh, you don't have water. I'll get you some." No apology for lack of service or not even bothering to ask us if we wanted anything else to drink. She brought out the waters with those same filthy gloves and went to clean the table that had just left with those same gloves hands. As we were leaving and she saw the uneaten pad Thai on the plate, we simply commented that the pad thai was too sweet to eat, she just stared and said nothing. The silence said it all: this woman does not care that her customers did not like the food. We did not complain at all during the meal, but let her know at the end since we left it on the plate, because not once did she check in to ask us how the food was. She finally came back to clear the table and give us the check with the same dirty gloves she wore the entire time. I will never return here again. read more
