The gas station also does some car repair, so you'll see some extra cars parked in the rather tight lot... and now, there's a (delicious) Honduran food truck there as well, drawing even more traffic. With CVS already being there with their one-way drive thru for prescription pickup, the area can feel a little cramped. But fortunately, gas stations are one thing Greenbelt doesn't lack in.

That was weird, however I was able to tell the Employee via word of mouth and he added it. The store was nice and clean, didn't have that typical old grease smell that most Royal Farms have. I made my way over to the lottery vending machine and got what I needed. I began to see the line at the register begin to back up, which I've never seen at a Royal Farms. The system had just went down and no one could purchase anything. My tickets had already printed out from the machine so I was good to go. I left the store and went around back to use the air pump. I can echo the other reviews and tell you that this is one of the cheapest places in the area to get fuel. In fact, all their locations are always the lowest when compared to other places and chains. There is nothing special about this place. It is your run of the mill gas station. There is a small convenience store attached but mostly a gas station none-the-less. To me, it is an afterthought of a lot, but one that is worthy of your business. Five stars? No, but it serves its purpose.

I guess I cannot fault this business too much for the "bait and switch" because that's what a lot of gas stations are doing nowadays. I flocked to this place because the "original" price per gallon was significantly lower compared to other places. But there are many ways it can be annoying and not customer friendly, most of which are completely avoidable. First, this Shell had NPR going over its speaker system. I was a little taken back as I have NEVER heard NPR while filling up. That wax nice -- i really hate those ad-news TV things that some Chevron stations have installed. Next, the pumps had the octane going from lowest to highest, left to right. I really appreciate that--too many stations have the basic gas sandwitched between their two premium blends in a deliberate effort to trick you into selecting the higher priced gas. This location is right off the beltways outer-loop. Zip-zip I was back in my car and on my way home. Easy off, easy on the highway. I had had a rough day and this basic, easy and frustration free transaction was much appreciated.
