I tried them the first time shortly after they opened. Waited weeks and tried again, and then again. The appetizing stuff, everything that goes on the bagels seems fine n good. Staff is cool. But the bagels are not great. Upside is they do exist, which makes them the best bagel shop in the micro-hood. They have put time and effort into their online ordering and pickup system, which is nice during covid. Since Bedford Hill left (they served the best bagels in the neighborhood) I have to travel out of the hood to get a bagel. Or settle for this spot, Bergen Bagel, or Bagel World on Dekalb. It's fine. Great bagels, quick service, good customer service as well. It was a rainy day, and I trudged over to Greenberg's not sure of what to expect. A great amount of lox was on my bagel, not too much cream cheese, tomato, and the right amount of red onion. This is a minor point for vegetarians who still love egg and cheese sandwiches. Twice I've had egg and cheese sandwiches here, and twice I've been sick as if I ate meat, including 15 minutes ago.. The bagels are amazing and the best in the neighborhood. My go to is usually the S.E.C on an egg everything with a hash brown & hot sauce (sounds like a lot but you won't regret it). The nitro cold brew is also pretty tasty. Since covid you can't order in person but their website has a seamless ordering process and when your food is done just check the window for the bag with your name. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is there is usually something incorrect with my order, since everything is tasty I don't make a big deal but it is slightly annoying for it to happen more often than not and paying extra for flavored cream cheese for you to end up with plain is kind of a bummer. read more

Honestly the best breakfast sandwich on a bagel ever. I get the sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, hashbrown on an everything bagel every Saturday morning. 10/10!!!! I use to order from Greenberg bagels quite a bit (they use to have a pretty good strawberry cream cheese) but recently it has really gone down hill. The last four or 5 orders have been incorrect. Perhaps if you go into the store you will have better luck but DONT order from door dash unless you want a surprise (ie. Instead of BEC. You only get a plain bagel or if you order a half dozen plain bagels you will get cinnamon raisin and egg bagels) read more

It is always a challenge finding a new bagel shop, but what a joke of a bagel shop this place is. I ordered delivery, which was late, and overall I was very disappointed regarding the quality and cost of the bagels. I am surprised if this place will be able to stay in business with the size of their bagels and the cost. Both bagels were about the size of my palm. Extremely small! I actually don't think I have ever seen a bagel this small before (aside from Lender's bagels you buy in the grocery stores). The cost of each bagel is $6! I thought we were going to find a great new bagel shop just because of the cost! Needless to stay, I will stick with my usual bagel shop and won't be ordering or visiting this location again. I seldom leave poor reviews- shit happens and ultimately one not-so-great meal, or one not-so-great server isn't a big deal to me....but I've yet to come here and not leave frustrated. There aren't many bagel spots in the Bedford-Nostrand G area, so I was pumped to come here. But it takes a half an hour at LEAST for 1 bagel order (of one single bagel), the times I've come I've gotten the wrong cream cheese, untoasted bagels, or the completely wrong bagel and didn't feel like waiting an additional 20 minutes or fussing with their app again. I always come here because it's closer to me than Bergen Bagels, but this morning I could've walked across town and back before my order at Greenberg's was ready (and incorrect). Only writing this to hopefully save some people from wasting a good chunk of their morning. read more

This place is really disorganized. Bagel with cream cheese (the simplest order) takes over 45 minutes usually. The weekend rush is unfathomably long and they are very inconsistent and many times have forgotten my order or given me the wrong thing. They don't know how to handle the volume of orders they receive and therefore make the customer wait FOREVER. They don't always cut the bagels and often staple the napkins to the bag. It would be one thing if this happens occasionally but this is the case more often than not. They also never take accountability for their bad customer service and offer to accommodate you in any way if they mess up. Very disappointing, would not recommend if your looking for a positive customer experience. read more
