Excellent service excellent bagel. Must try cucumber dill spread on an everything bagel. The everything bagel chips and ask for the cream cheese spreads on the side for a little snack.

Absolutely obsessed! The blueberry cream cheese was unexpectedly amazing--so flavorful and fresh. This place has officially become my new go-to spot in Brooklyn. Can't wait to come back!

Terrible hot sauce- please bring more options. Tabasco would be better than this.

Solid bagel- love the BEC. Super clean and great service. However, they must go directly to food jail for serving this hot sauce. Terrible, flavorless, and red dye???? Cmon.

This was my first time coming here to get a breakfast sandwich. I got one of the egg white special sandwiches with added turkey and I have to say it was good maybe too much cheese in it but overall it was good and I would come back to try other things. The place looks nice and there's plenty of things to choose from. My next choice would obviously be what the place is named after which is a bagel! They also seem to have a very nice selection of different cream cheese.

Pretty solid bagel sandwich. I got a Whole wheat everything with tofu cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion. I'm glad they have vegan cream cheese options so everyone can find something they like.

Burnt bagel was delivered. I can't believe that they would even send this out to anyone

I ordered a sandwich and they bagel was completely burnt. How could they even send something so bad out

This was one of the only places in the area open on Thanksgiving. They had a lot of options on the menu, but after all of us decided what we wanted to order they told us the grill was off and they wouldn't be able to make most of what we wanted (?!) - we came in the afternoon so maybe it's only on in the mornings, but it was still pretty strange and they should have mentioned that first. Then after ordering a few bagels and a sandwich, the wait time was pretty long, and it was cold inside while we waited - the tables are right by the door so it's not a great place to eat in the colder months. But the main reason for 4 stars: I finally ended up getting my eggplant sandwich and took it to-go, and it was DELICIOUS (but oily, as expected) - I've been craving it ever since.

I used to go to this spot often. One day the owner (Asian guy) didn't fill up my spread properly in the cup. I asked him to fill it up and he made a big stint and was very unprofessional. Instead of being grateful he has a steady customer, he made it seem like I was doing him a favor. I suggest going to Bergen Bagels a few blocks away on 536 Myrtle. They give you the proper portions, have better prices and appreciate your business.

So yesterday I thought I'd be all adventurous and try another new bagel shop. ::sigh:: Sometimes its better to stick with what you know is good. No complaints about the location, the decor or even the staff working. The food was the disappointment here. First up was the Chicken Cordon Bleu on a roll. Good amount of chicken... even though I thought it was weird that they cut it into little strips rather than leaving it as a cutlet. Nice pile of ham on top of the chicken and swiss melted over everything. Sadly though the sandwich needed more honey mustard. I think there was only one bite where I actually tasted it. Also picked up a black and white cookie... in a word: EW!! Do not order one of these cookies. I've had such great b/w cookies at other bagel shops... not this one. This b/w tasted chemically, ugh, I'd like my money back on this one please. Also picked up a couple bagels for the morning. Large. Doughy. All around nice bagel. One star for the sandwich, one star for the bagels, and I guess one star for the establishment itself... like I said - no complaints there. I'll give it another try again but I'm stay far away from that dessert case.

Bought chicken salad on a bagel for takeout. Chicken salad was rancid. Won't bother with this establishment again.

There's a couple of tables in a small store. Above the register there's a menu board resembling a train departures board, cycling through the options (it looks neat, but the printed out menu on your right is a lot more practical). There's a cooler with drinks and salads as you enter on the right. The sandwiches, however, are something special. On my first visit I went with something familiar, the Mean Streets (their Italian sandwich). The bread itself is fantastic (locally baked), and the toppings delicious as well (if I recall correctly the dressings are house made). Pleasantly, they also give you a paper plate with your order, which is a nice touch compared to eating off a wrapper. I enjoyed the first sandwich so much I came back the next day to try the No Sleep Til Gravesend. The sandwich is essentially a hot roast beef sandwich, with a jus on the sandwich reminiscent of a French Dip. Perfect on a cold, rainy day. Overall, 1 of 1 has great (and mostly house made) ingredients and great execution. There's a level of creativity on the menu that you rarely see elsewhere in the city. 1 of 1 is among the best sandwich shops in the city, and a very welcome addition to the area.

When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Expensive though, about $55 dollars for a vegan 18-inch Margherita pie with 3 toppings. Was it worth it for the experience? Yes. Would I recommend to someone who wanted to try it at least once for a good dairy-free pizza? Absolutely, I couldn't even tell this was vegan cheese. Would I get it again? Maybe (?) once in a while as a treat with price being the only barrier. Service 5/5: This was great. I came here the other day to inquire about their vegan pizza and just wanted to try a slice. The person found his manager to talk to me about this. They were super friendly and explained to me the situation. This location only sold vegan options in full pies and their other DOP Fast Life location does sell vegan slices, but they didn't try to push me to buy. I came back today and the staff today were also very welcoming. Ambiance 5/5: Rustic red brick interior with warm lighting. It was definitely bustling on a Friday night. Food 5/5: Delicious pizza. I do regret that I ate it cold after driving 30 minutes to pick it up so I did not get the full experience. But the crust was still crunchy. I do wish the toppings were a little heavier but the tomato chunks in the sauce tasted very fresh. A very classic New York style pizza and I couldn't even tell it wasn't real cheese. Vegan garlic knots were great too.
