I ordered from here on Uber Eats and I'm so glad I did! I was feeling indecisive, so I got two vegan options to try: 1. The vegan BEC w/ avocado, ketchup, and vegan mayo on a Kaiser roll. All the textures for the egg, cheese, and bacon substitutes were spot-on with perfectly ripe avocados and the right amount of condiments. I'd eat this every morning if I could! 2. A poppyseed bagel with tofu cream cheese, arugula, onion, and tomato. This was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The veggies balanced the tofu CC nicely. I ate half of both (saved the rest for later) and they were great! Being vegan it's really hard trying to find a vegan BEC that actually taste like a vegan BEC but this one does ! Placed an order on a Sunday morning at 10:30AM for several bagels. We were quoted for an 11:15AM pick-up, which we were prepared to wait, given that it was bagel rush hour on a weekend. After placing the order, the pick-time updated to 11:45AM. At 11:55, nearly an hour and a half after we had placed the order, the bagels were ready. Three of the bagels that we had ordered (two egg everything and one whole wheat) were out, and they replaced them with plain bagels. We were confused as to why the egg everything bagels were not replaced with just regular everything bagels (which they had, because those were the other two bagels in the order). It would have also been nice for them to have called to inquire about back-up bagels, seeing as 3/5 in the order were out. The bagels themselves were underwhelming. They did not taste fresh, and the cream cheese spreads were disappointing. The lox spread had very little lox, and the scallion spread was also very sparse. You will pay less money for a significantly better bagel at other shops near by. Definitely will not be returning to Greenberg Bagels. read more

I've been dying to try this place since moving to NYC. I finally had the chance to stop by when it wasn't busy. This place is quite literally a hole in the wall gem. I ordered the Brooklyn Ang, which had: avocado, a hashbrown and fried egg with Mike's Hot Honey, mayonnaise and ketchup. It sounds like a weird mix, but it was phenomenal! The flavors paired so well with one another. I will say, though, the bagel felt a little bit stale, but not enough to where it wasn't enjoyable. I felt that the sandwich was great for its price point. The prep time was so quick! I was able to get my food in under 10 minutes. This place definitely gets super busy on the weekends, so be sure to plan for that. read more

Greenberg's is my go-to neighborhood bagel place. First time I ordered I wasn't sure if I'd be into a pastrami egg and cheese.. 25+ orders later I'd say I'm very much into it. I always get an everything bagel, my boyfriend gets the egg everything and they are consistently so good. The hash browns are also a must. They're always super crispy so it's a guilty pleasure of mine to tear it in half and put it on my bagel. The only downside is that I usually do pickup and on the weekends it gets a little hectic with all of the delivery drivers, especially if you're ordering around 11 AM - 12 PM. At those times the pick up estimate when you order can be a little too optimistic BUT I will say the wait is absolutely worth it. Greenberg's Bagels has a cashier who is racist. I've gone there numerous times, and the bagels are always excellent! Most times I have absolutely no issues. But when this particular staff member is at the register all of a sudden I have all of these nuanced issues. For example, I buy the same thing all of the time - yet she always charges me more for it than anyone else. Then, there are the eye rolls and curt responses she always gives. Today was the final straw. I made my order with someone else (she's awesome) but when I came back to pick my order up the racist cashier was there. I told her my name and she proceeded to give three other people there food before me. Finally, I pointed to my bag which was sitting right at the front, and she says "Oh" and drops it in my hands. She didn't hand it to me, she DROPPED it in my hands! She has dark curly hair. She is a racist. Her actions are intolerable and I promise to make sure something is done about it. read more

I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese with egg and tomato (was told my the "manager") over the phone to write it in the instructions, which I did, since their menu doesn't offer a choice in bagel or cream cheese flavors. I received(an hour and a half later) a plain bagel with plain cream cheese(cold btw)...and will add that their eggs are, apparently, made out of plastic. I've been to this place twice, both times they botched the order. Just now ordered the most basic thing you can get, a plain bagel with butter and they managed to screw that up. Gave me a plain bagel with about a half pound of cream cheese that just fell out of the bagel when I picked it up. Would not recommend going here, they got a second chance and failed. I live in the neighborhood and have been going to Greenberg's for a while. It's always been great. However, today was an exceptionally bad experience. For one, they probably shouldn't leave the bagels in the window during a heatwave because the cream cheese was hot, melted, and foul tasting. Also, we ordered "Lox" with our order for an extra $11 (not "lox spread"). We ended up lox spread, or just small chunks of lox in the cream cheese. We were expecting lox slices for $11 extra. Greenberg's bagels in Bed Stuy is incredibly vegan-friendly. Whether you want a simple bagel with vegan cream cheese or a tricked-out vegan Bacon Egg and Cheese on a bagel, they've got you covered. I tried their vegan BEC twice (the first time without adding hash browns, the second time with hash browns). Definitely add the hash browns! With that option, this was one of the best vegan breakfast sandwiches I've had lately. The flavors and textures were on-point. The only downside is that this spot is incredibly popular. Both times I visited, there was a huge line. If you're planing to eat during peak hours, definitely order ahead online, or you'll end up standing around outside. But, there's a reason for the lines: this place is great! Especially for vegans. Highly recommended. Definitely give it a shot. read more

The bagels here are really delicious and worth traveling for. I live above a bagel shop but Greenberg's is our new go to. The bagels are perfect--crusty on the outside and fluffy inside. The bagel sandwiches with eggs and cheese are also well made (no overcooked eggs here!). Also, the beet horseradish cream cheese is unique and tasty if you're a fan of vinegary flavors.
