    Garlic Bread

We had a lovely experience at Greenbush! The restaurant is super cute - dark with twinkle lights really sets a fun vibe. We started with a couple crostini and garlic bread. The garlic bread was so so good with so much garlic! We did a build your own pizza and the crust was perfectly thin and crunchy. Our server, Phoebe, was excellent. She was very attentive and friendly. Overall, wonderful spot for a weeknight or weekend date night. Highly recommend and we will be back!!!

Thin crust pizza with the corn meal underneath... you can't beat this! Small, quaint bar where if you're here for a Badger game- get here early... the tables fill up with fans...but the bar has awesome cocktails, great apps and home made desserts. Friendly staff- all around 5 stars!

Come early or late. It gets busy. Excellent service and food. We came a bit after 6 and was very busy, was able to get table for 4.

Another amazing meal at Greenbush. My boys noticed how attentive the staff was on a very busy football night. Staff is above and beyond. Big arguments about which pizza was best. New Haven is sick but the roasted red pepper and onion w Franoni's sausage was ridiculous.

Been going here at least once a month for years. Amazing pizza, great whiskey selection, and awesome staff. IMO, there are a lot of great places in town but none have ever had amazing pizza, until I found this place. If you like thin crust with no flop this is it.

I took out a pizza for dinner on Friday evening. The place was full. Pizza took 30 minutes. I went for a New Haven clam pizza. It was a good pizza. Clams could be a littlie bit more fresh.

We were looking for a place after a night game that had places to sit, food and wasn't filled with college kids . We wish we were still in college but sadly we aren't and can't hang like that anymore. We searched pizza places on our walk away from the stadium and this came up and WoW - we hit the jackpot! Walked down the stairs and door opened to the exact atmosphere I was looking for . Great people , chill atmosphere and serving food and drink late ! We gave our name for a table but sat at the bar while we waited. It was only about a 20 minute wait and it was about 11:00 pm. The pizza was excellent and just what we needed . We also splurged and got some cheesecake too- yum yum! I was in heaven with pizza , spotted cow and cheesecake! Need to get back here ASAP!

Excellent pizza and a great vibe! I love all the holiday lights. It's a really cozy place. I highly recommend coming around the holidays. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday night and were told it would be about a 45 minute wait so we went up to the bar to have a drink while we waited. We were quickly served at the bar and our table was ready in about 20 minutes. We had an attentive and helpful waitress. Someone in our party is not a huge fan of marinara sauce so the waitress had a great recommendation for a white sauce pizza. We did all build your own style pizza which I really like. The pizza is thin, crispy and cut into squares, my fav style. So good! We kicked off our meal with the garlic bread. I could go without next time, there were only a few slices of bread, I didn't think it was worth the cost. Note there is no parking lot, but we found street parking down one of the side streets. When you enter the building you have to walk down some stairs (no elevator).

Best espresso martini I've ever had! Loved the flakey salt on top. For food we ordered the garlic bread, the Alberici, and the Stromboli (pizza style). The Alberici was my favorite. Service was attentive and the food came out quickly! Loved the mood of the place and the music. :)

Omg where do I even start??! This pizza is by far one of the top tier pizzas I've ever had (this is in comparison to NYC pizza like Lucali's and L'industrie). We built our own pizza and put Italian sausage, caramelized shallots, and red onions, CHEFS KISS!! The fresh basil on top is amazing too. I actually really liked how the pizza was cut into smaller squares instead of triangles too. It's plenty for 2 people imo. The flavor of the sauce and cheese is everything, YOU MUST TRY IT!! The location of this place is also so hidden so it look us a while to find it, but it's definitely a IYKYK type of place. Service was great besides there not really being a check in area so we had to ask them if we just seat ourselves, but our waitress was super friendly. The decor is super cute, the place is super cozy, and it's a nice date night spot or place to catch up with a friend. Give this place a try when u can!! Also note the days they're open and the days they're not, it's not very intuitive.

Some of our party got the French toast which looked amazing and I'll probably try next time-- peaches and pecans with it! A few of them ordered bacon on the side too and it came with plenty of it, 3-4 long strips. Cannoli was the pastry I chose and it was the perfect sweet treat. Filling had cinnamon and was dipped in pistachios, which I will be back for! Ella was our server-- simply amazing! Super attentive, knows the menu like the back of her hand, and went above and beyond for us many times. It was not what the other person was drinking, but oh my was this one of the best margaritas I've had in recent memory! It was SO good. It had a lot of ice in it, so next time I might ask for it straight up just so I can savor it and not let the ice water it down. We also had delicious bread brought to the table with a plate of olive oil and balsamic. The bread was cut into nice little pieces, was warm, and had a delightful texture where the outside was slightly crisped but not enough to impede your bite and the inside was just warm and soft. The have a nice, varied menu and it was hard to decide what to get. I was really craving marinara sauce, so I ended up going with the Cappellaci Di Salsiccia which was a meat and cheese enclosed pasta with marinara. And it was delicious. It also came out very beautifully plated. My dining mate ordered the Penne Pollo e Pesto and loved it. I'm not wild about pesto, but had to sample a bit and the way the pesto clung to the penne was really tasty. They also have a ragu lasagna and chicken piccata on their menu that I can't wait to try. But once you walk in, it's a completely different story. The service was excellent. The restaurant was beautiful and the service was amazing. I appreciated that our waitress was very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu and what ingredients they contained, which is perfect for anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions (like myself). We were seated near the open kitchen which also added to the dining experience. I tried: - Scallop toast - I really enjoyed this. It was mild, not fishy tasting at all, and the brioche was toasted very well. I'm not a huge seafood person aside from sushi and poke, and had never had scallops before, so I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. - Ricotta Raviolini - I was not a huge fan of this, which was especially disappoint since it was my main entree / the most expensive on this list. It was essentially a folded sheet of pasta with a tiny bit of ricotta, topped with barely cooked asparagus and snap peas. The menu also lists lemon infused olive oil, but I didn't taste that at all. The parts of the raviolini with a good amount of ricotta were delicious, but the dish overall was bland and tasted like raw asparagus and peas. My friends also tried it and none of them liked it either. - Baked Potato with The Works - super simple and perfectly executed. It comes with bacon, which we got on the side since I don't eat red meat. Potato was fluffy and salted perfectly, with a good amount of other toppings. My friends who do eat bacon said it tasted more like ham than bacon, and they actually preferred the potato without it. - Dark Chocolate Bread Pudding - Loved it. I love bread pudding and chocolate pudding, but never thought to combine the two. It was delicious - soft, not super sweet, and great portion size. I would recommend sharing, it's pretty rich which can be overwhelming at a certain point. - Flightless Bird mocktail - this was one of the best mocktails I've tried. It has a black tea base but tasted more like a regular cocktail without the alcohol burn rather than tea. Everyone at the table enjoyed trying it too. Despite the raviolini being a miss, the rest of the food, service, and ambiance made this such a wonderful dining experience that I can't wait to come back and try more.
