It was a pleasure working with Michel. I am writing this review 5 years after he did the original work. I used him for pavers in my backyard. He went to the store with me and my wife and took time to help us the product for our need. He actually made a couple of trip and patiently educated/informed us on our many questions. The reason I am very impressed by his customer service and writing this review after so many years is due to a recent interaction. Recently, I had bulge in one section of the pavers. I called him for that and rather than dismissing me by saying it's out of warranty, he said that he will come and take a look. He stopped by with his workers, dug up the spot and showed me that it was due to a root coming from trees from outside my house. He fixed the entire thing and didn't charge me anything. To top the deal, he added some sand between the pavers as there were some wear and tear over the years. All at no cost to me. Amazing customer service ... shows that he takes pride in his work and works to keep his customers happy. 5+ stars. read more

Zero star if I could. Beware do not use this company and Michel! He uses subcontractor so his work is hit or miss, he does NOT have his own team. He's nice at first but will call you "anal" and give you an attitude if you ask him to make changes and will charge you for every little change you make. World Class Experience I had with Michel and his team Israel & Jesus. The wall on my backyard bugged me for the longest time, it was basically bricks with mortar. They did a great job of prepping the wall, installing stone ledger and painting the fences. They went all the extra mile for the unforeseen things that came up and did an amazing job! But it was the most horrible experience I've ever had. After pushing so much, I was lucky enough to get my job completed 4 and half months later than the original time frame promised. However, it wasn't done to my satisfaction based on the original requirements discussed. I do not want to go over all issues faced, as I would end up writing an essay. In my opinion, this company is not "Greencare" but "Don't Care" landscaping to me. In short, my advise to anyone coming across this company, is to just stay away. Save your hard earned money and do your research first. Ask for references and make a well informed decision before you hire anyone for your landscaping work. My husband and I did shop around and actually found his referral from Home Depot. He & his installers are the best and we are extremely happy and really impressed. He helped us chose a beautiful turf( even Made in America) that blends with our natural 1/4 acre of side lawn. it's very lush, strong and durable for ourandthat love walking all over it every day it's more comfortable to walk on then our plush carpet. Worked with Michel from Greencare. I got a few quotes and his prices were very competitive. He showed me a few of the work he's done around the neighborhood and I told him I am very picky and that I aim for perfection with straight lines, clean, well done edges, 90 degree cuts on my tiles where my front door stairs are. His team did an excellent job from start to finish. My work started right around when Covid started but even with all the delays his team got the entire project (Landscaping, hardscaping, Front/Backyard) in a timely matter. If you're very specific and precise on what you want with sufficient drawings and material samples to avoid any confusion then I think you will be satisfied. He isn't a designer, he's a builder (and a good one), so just do your own designs, talk to him in great details and you should be happy with the results. The absolute worst owner to deal with. The entire community despises his presence. Michel drives erratically, parks anywhere he pleases and is rude to women. One of our neighbors even called the police on him! His workers are careless, they leave beer bottles and razor blades on the street, they don't clean up after themselves and dump their supplies on your property as if it was their personal storage area. Thankfully we didn't use them but it's a shame others in our community were duped into using Greencare. Michel has possibly 10 incomplete jobs all throughout the neighborhood. Expect him to complete your job in a year if you're lucky. People that have used him say they regret working with him as he was extremely difficult. Surrounding neighbors who did not use him also despise him due to his arrogance and complete disregard for other people. We hired Michel to do our Landscaping for our Front and Backyard. I had got quotes from 3 other companies and felt that Michel had the best vision and price for what we wanted to accomplish. The experience with him and the workers were good. I went to Homedepot to request help to replace a fence that was damaged during the last storm weather we had. The work involved removing a 50 some feet wooden fence plus footing and make a new concrete footing proper and up to code for, and building a new block wall fence with a new gate. Michel at Greencare Landscape contacted me and wrote me up an offer as well as plans needed for HOA approval and cost estimate. I also contacted 4 other contractors for offers, but Michel was certainly the one that had the more attractive offer, both in price, commitment and scope of the work. I live in Aliso Viejo with the extra HOA overhead, and Michel was patient enough to work with me through the longer approval process. When approvals were finally ready Michel and his crew worked through the next week with demolition, making a new footing, ordered materials and what needed to complete the fence, making a custom gate as well as re-piping parts of the current irrigation system affected by the footing. After work was completed they cleaned up the site and left the outside and inside yard in good shape. Now that the fence is finished it looks very nice and blends in well in the neighborhood that I live in. Very happy with the end result. read more

I had already got a few quotes and I decided to go with GreenCare because his prices was the best price quoted. After the pavers were delivered the work was started on my back yard, Michel team was very polite and professional and they completed the work in a timely manner.
