Five Stars for Sheer Golfing Bliss! I recently had the pleasure of playing a round at Greenfield Lakes, and I can honestly say it was one of the best golfing experiences I've had. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making me feel like a valued guest. The pro shop was well-stocked, and the starter was friendly and efficient, getting us out on the course right on time. The course itself is a masterpiece. The layout is challenging yet fair, with a great variety of holes that will test every aspect of your game. The conditions were absolutely immaculate. The fairways were perfectly manicured, the greens were fast and true, and the rough was just thick enough to make you work for it without being overly penal. It's clear that the grounds crew takes immense pride in maintaining the course to the highest standards. Beyond the excellent golf, the scenery was breathtaking. It has beautiful scenery and holes. It was a truly relaxing and enjoyable round, surrounded by nature's beauty. The pace of play was excellent, and we were able to complete our round in a comfortable amount of time. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious meal at the clubhouse restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after a great round. Greenfield Lakes offers everything you could want from a top-tier golf course. It's a challenging and beautiful course with exceptional service and amenities. I love this driving range and love that it is open late because like most people I work for a living and cant come to hit balls until 8pm or sometimes 9pm. Everyone that works there has always been very nice and great to deal with, until a week or two ago when there was a lady working that i had never seen or met before and i come there often and know a couple people there. When I got there at 9pm and bought a bucket of balls the lady that was working informed me that the lights were going off at 945pm tonight. I asked why and she replied that she had to close up so the lights were going off at 945pm. Well when you advertise that your lights are on until 10pm they should probably stay on until 10pm, any job that i ever worked at that had any closing duties were done after we closed not 15 minutes before so i could leave at 10pm when we closed. IT just really bothered me, and may have to find somewhere else to hit balls at night if that's going to become the norm. She also refused to sell any balls to the gentleman that came up behind me around 925pm, so I gave him half of mine being I didn't have enough time anyway. read more

Have been around this course for almost 20 years and have seen it grow from a mobile trailer on site to a fun par 62 hybrid course. After playing there for many years, I began working for them. It is now under new ownership and I wanted to compliment the new owner/operators concering the condition of the course and facilities. Their attention to detail and customer service is commendable. After attending the City of Gilbert/Neighborhood meeting at Greenfield Lakes Golf Course, it is very evident that the owners are intending for these 105 acres to be among the very best entertainment sites in the entire southeast valley. I would encourage golfers of all ages and skill levels to try this course out. Make sure you try out their 30 bay range with newly installed Trackman (open till 10pm). I recently played 18 holes at this course, and I was thoroughly disappointed. The staff were all great and very accommodating, however the course itself was nothing even close to being good. While the fairways are not too terrible, the rough is basically dead grass. Most of the greens are very inconsistent and many are covered in bird feces. The worst aspect of the entire course had to have been the cart paths. For some reason there were two paths on some holes, and both of them were so rough that it was better to drive the carts on the grass. There were also many areas that were flooded on the course. Overall, the entire course, including the clubhouse, seems to be old and falling into disrepair. It is clear that whoever owns this course does not spend much money on maintaining it! It is safe to say that I will not be back. read more

Rory Walker, a golf instructor at Greenfield Lakes is amazing! He helped me identify what I needed to work on to improve my golf game. He was patient, encouraging and very knowledgeable. Just one lesson and I have learned a few pointers that have already improved my golf swing and confidence. I am far from being the golfer I hope to someday be, but I am optimistic that I will improve greatly after spending more time working with Rory. Great course expecially if your short on time. I have played here in the summer in 2 hours and the winter is usually on about 3 hours. The staff is helpful and friendly. The course plays better than most executive courses with a couple of par fives and four par 4's. The course is always in good condition and it has a lighted driving range. read more

Came over the weekend to hit some balls at the driving range as I hadn't been golfing in a while. Needed a warm up before getting on a course. Thought the driving range was good, machines were running well and the club I rented was in decent shape. Had a nice time looking forward to getting back in the golf groove and trying a full course. read more

This f***ing idiot who's apparently the "ranger" sits there and talks shit. He then came up to me and tried to fight me because I told him to leave. He was an old ass man that makes minimum wage and has probably been a loser his whole life. I used to love this place, now the only reason I'd go back is to have a chance to box the ranger. read more

Really frisbee and golf.....who does that. Maybe its to make up for the lack of hazards. You know, more of a challenge...trying not to bean some dope throwing a frisbee in the middle of the green. The frisbee guys have no golf course etiquette either. A definite never again. read more
