Found out the title was JUNK, with UNDER REPORTED MILEAGE, UNDER REPORTED NUMBER PREVIOUS OWNERS, UNDER REPORTED UNDER CARRIAGE DAMAGE, left front. I immediately canceled the sale. Got it in writing they would refund my money, but only by check, sent to my home. Turned out be be a WORTHLESS check. My certifed mail went unanswered and 3 letters came back unclaimed. Put a down payment on a Jeep that was advertised "rebuilt engine" (had 300+ original miles) Stupid me, trusted them (their reviews on Google are 5 star) and signed the vague contract and wired $1500 (I live in RI) The contract was vague and something seemed off, so I started asking more questions about the Jeep. I find out that, although they did SOME work on the Jeep, they did not rebuild the engine. This was a deal breaker for me. I asked them to either rebuild the motor or give me my deposite back because I did not want any of the other Jeeps. Surprisingly, they said no. They want me to pick a different one or I just lose my money. Fyi, the deposite was supposed to be $1000, but I gave $1500 like an idiot. Purchased a vehicle from this dealership July of 2013. The experience is great up until you are actually signing the contract. Similar to other "Buy here, pay here" dealerships, the interest rate is an exorbitant 46%. Almost all of the vehicles are rebuilt or salvage titles. That can make getting car insurance a bit tricky. They tell you to bring the vehicle back if anything goes wrong. While I do expect a vehicle to need servicing every now and then; having entire parts of a car fly off while driving on the highway (drivers side skirt) and them not only not having the part, but also not replacing it at all was not a very good experience. I do not recommend purchasing a car from here, no matter how great of a deal it seems. Nothing but a headache. read more

SCAM!!!!! I was told the 2000 Cherokee I purchased had a "Clean Title". I specifically asked Jon about the title. Had I know the vehicle has a salvage title, I would have never bought it. This is my own fault. I guess I have to much faith in humanity. Jon looked me in the eye and lied to me. I didn't learn of the salvage title until I requested a paper version months later. I was made aware of the body work done to the Cherokee. Jon showed me the photos of the work. I was perfectly fine with knowing of the work done. Funny how the "salvage" issue never came up during the whole buying experience. I payed full price for this vehicle thinking it was a fair purchase. I realize we a need to make a living but hiding the truth to increase your profit is bad business. Jon, its people like you that are making this great country so hard to live in. Shame on you. Also, The vehicle is not in "Great shape" After installing a 3 inch lift kit I brought it to an alignment shop a learned the body is shaped like a banana. The axles are straight but the passenger side tire sticks out about an inch further than the drivers side. This means the front end is not parallel to the back. We were able to get it to drive straight but the tire reveal is driving me up the wall. OCD if think. I realize I purchased an 18 year old Cherokee and problems are inevitable. However, after leaving the lot the brake caliper locked up, the blower fan stopped working, the radio stopped working, one of the wipers flew off, the fog lights have a weird short in the wire I can't find, the interior trim and door panels are falling off, the electric seat adjusting stopped working on the driver side, the exterior trim is pealing off and it doesn't like to restart start after its been running a while. So far My heart in broken. I have wanted a nice Cherokee for a long time now. I can deal with all the small issues myself but I cant get over the Salvage title. Do your auto shopping somewhere else. :( read more

The cars come with a rebuilt title, which means they were in an accident prior to them purchasing the vehicle. All collision "work" is done in house, basically it's just a patch job. Make sure you bring a body specialist with you too check the integrity of the frame work. I over payed for a vehicle that I'm having to put thousands of dollars of work in. I bought a car not too long ago from here after being referred by my in laws as they had a decent experience. Everything was great until it came down to payment and addressing the issues about the vehicle I was being sold at the time. I worked with John he was great guy and taught me a lil on driving a Manual car better. However, where it went down hill was either buying "AS IS" or paying this warranty dealer fee of some sort(which the word warranty was never mentioned in our discussion with John). How it was explained to me and my in laws was not clear at all and all 3 of us thought the same thing when in actually it wasn't what we thought at all.. Let me explain: He wrote on a paper(which I have a copy of) that it'll be $250 fee if I got the car "AS-IS"(and mentioned the prices individually if I were to fix the issues later on) which were $60 to recharge AC and put in stop leak dye, $80 for a single front driver side replacement used tire, and $120 for a new headliner. The price difference of paying 450 now or 250 plus the total 260 repairs were a 10 dollar savings so it wasn't a huge difference paying 450 upfront. (Once again not knowing it was a warranty option as that was never mentioned to us) OR I could pay $450 now and he'll fix the issues "mention only" right away. *This is how it was presented to us. As you can see knowing there was a warranty option would have swayed my decision greatly as I knew his cars were rebuilt/salvaged. On top of that I was getting a 97 civic which is obviously not the youngest of the bunch.* Option 1: "AS-IS" is one option where you get a chance to "save" money. Well not really but it seems that way at first. Basically they charge you less on dealer fee(and taxes)but you don't get a warranty if anything goes wrong. Then if anything does go wrong you're on your own with the costs of repairs. Option 2: You pay the normal dealer fee of about $450 which gives you a warranty so if anything goes wrong they'll fix it. But the initial cost is more upfront. (Another concern of mine is that not only they never mentioned a warranty(at least to me).. They never provided a paper of what it covers and for how long you will be warrantied for. No terms and conditions paper provided or discussed) JUST A RECAP AND SOME TIPS!: (If you decide to go here) 1. DONT EVER BUY "AS IS". No matter how good it sounds it's not good and you will be pissed when something isn't right and you have to pay more on a car you just bought. 2. KNOW THAT YOUR OTHER OPTION IS "Warranty" option. These cars are rebuild/savaged expect something to go wrong and this will help you. Expect to pay about $450 to the original cost listed on the site. 3. DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING THE SITE STATES My AC was to be "ICE COLD" and it was not. Only later to find out the compressor was broken.(A mechanic John referred me to told me this) Another thing was my odometer was broken but I didn't notice to later when I drove the car more often.. Even though it was broken they still stated the miles and failed to mention on the site there was an engine swap so I don't know the miles on the engine at all.(but as of yet the engine seems fine) 4. MAKE SURE YOU GET WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION OF EVERYTHING YOU CAN AND SIGNED Don't let verbal agreements be acceptable. Although I'm sure they all mean well I find it hard for them to keep track of everything they exactly say. For ex. John stated he can get my compressor rebuilt for $210 and later on it jump to $225 when within the next 10min of recapping what we discussed. I'm not saying he meant to do that but he seems like a busy guy so I'm sure numbers gets mixed up all the time. Proper documentation and signature always helps. They say they are honest so in sure there will be no issues asking this. My person opinion if you're looking on the cheaper side of things like I did(being that I just moved from NY state I was tight on money) They may try and steer you to buy "AS-IS" as the older vehicles aren't as reliable and may cost them more if it fails and its warrantied. This was my overall experience with this dealer. Unfortunately it wasn't the best experience but this is my honest opinion, advice, and experience. I hope this helps anyone who chooses to deal with them and brings clarity to many confusing issues I had. Beware of buying a used car from Greenfield. I purchased a 1995 Honda Del Sol this past summer (#4976) and it had major mechanical issues when I received it (shipped to me out of state). I was assured on numerous occasions that it had no mechanical problems and have a copy of the advertisement stating as much. Moreover, I was told that the dealer fee I paid on top of the purchase price would cover any problems I had when it was received. This gave me confidence to sign the "As-Is" form (huge mistake). Among other minor issues, here are the big ones: 1) The car had a blown head gasket and quickly overheated (mechanic found "Stop Leak" in the coolant) 2) The brakes didn't work properly due to a BAD master cylinder (I almost had an accident due to air in the brake line). (Note: they serviced the brakes prior to my purchase [replaced brake pads] and somehow didn't catch this problem??? Either their mechanics or poor, or they just overlooked it.) I have tried repeatedly to get compensation for these repairs, but they only tell me that I signed an "As-Is" form, and then offer to send me parts for "cheap," and they like to remind me that the car is old and used, as if that excuses their fraudulence. Moreover, I was told recently that the dealer fee was simply for their profit, and that it did not cover mechanical repairs as was told to me by their sales person (someone is lying). Most folks will say that I was a fool to purchase a used vehicle out of state without having it inspected. That is true and I regret it more than you know, and I am having to fight as hard as I can to try to get my money back. So, let this be a warning to anyone who wants to trust these people. I was skeptical about buying from them from the reivews, but I have to say I had an awesome experience everyone was very helpful! I bought a '01 Corolla with only 23k miles in October. Great car drives and looks like new, yes it has a rebuilt title but I'm fine with it. When I took delivery there were some parts missing that they ordered and replaced. I've had the car for 5 months and the only thing I had to fix was the horn and I got new tires ( with the low miles the car was on the original tires which were dry rotted) again not a big deal. I've driven the car for 7k miles in 5 months and it runs great!! I Would not hesitate to buy another car from them I am so happy with this car and surprisingly I get compliments on this little Corolla!! read more

If I could rate this company a 1/2 star I would. The only reason they remain in business is because of their "As-is, no-warranty contracts". My purchase experience with this company has been close to a nightmare! I recommend you look elsewhere because they use deceptive sales tactics. I purchased a vehicle in late 2014, which I unfortunately paid cash for. Not only did they take longer then they promised to "repair" the vehicle (they promised two weeks but it took over a month). This extra time was not put into good use because the vehicle was given with very low standards, despite their "verbal claim" of using certified mechanics and check-offs. They deceive the consumer by verbally stating that their vehicles will be repaired to the highest standard and provided in working order. However when it comes to signing the contract they ensure you are screwed and have to rely on their "below par" mechanical service. This has been my experience: 1. Not having motor oil (upon delivery) 2. Car leaking windshield fluid (upon delivery) 3. Motor light turning on (upon delivery) 4. Motor overheating within a 10 mile radius (within the first week) 5. In need of transmission mounts (within the first month) After taking the vehicle to Greenfield two times and still having issues with the car, the vehicle was taken a different mechanic at which transmission damage was found upon diagnostic testing (to repair you need a transmission expert which Greenfield does not have). We took the vehicle a second time in hopes of them repairing it; they kept it over the holidays and returned to us in worse condition with a busted head gasket resulting in a non-functioning vehicle. read more

This company has no problem putting a car on the road that is dangerous to drive. I bought a car from them that should have never passed inspection. The owner John repeatedly lied when asked about the repairs. The brakes were gone, the rotors were warped beyond repair, the suspension was still damaged and never repaired right, the 4 wheel drive system was inoperable, and the chassis frame is bent. We have 2 different mechanics paperwork showing this vehicle isn't safe or roadworthy. The mechanics told me that I was lucky to have made it home. These people had no problem sending me home in this car and have done nothing to make it right. We have attempted to contact them on several occasions, and they have shown no interest in making this car drive-able. SCAM ALERT!!!!!! This place is your classic "hook line and sinker" dealer. Yes undoubtedly their staff is polite and very helpful but they tell you what you want to hear and not what you should know. I found this dealer online, they had a post about an 04 Acura TL 6sp manual, so i went to check out the car that weekend. The fun starts after you put down a deposit, which is not refundable if you decide you do not want the vehicle. I needed them to hold the car for a couple of weeks because they were asking 3k for a down payment. Of course they take the deposit without explaining their ridiculous fees and interest rates or their "contracts". So suddenly my deposit was theirs and I had to either deal with the absurd fees or forfeit $3000 deposit..People beware of this company, they charge you upwards of 28% interest and a $5.00 fee per every $1-$200 payment made online!!! They are not open about this until you have signed away and are trapped in their scam. Something they won't mention is the low jack they install on all of their cars, I had mine repossessed with out any notification and I had no idea where the car was for 24hr because it was being processed by the tow yard in hallandale!!! The yard then was asking for $150 to get my belongings from inside the car...I always sent more than my weekly payments and they still claimed I was 7 weeks behind???
