We found a car online that we liked so we decided to stop in and check it out. We called ahead of time to make sure the car was still available and told them when we were planning to come in. The dealership was busy! Almost everyone working was showing a car and there were people in the waiting area. We were introduced to one of the salesman and he took us to the car right away. The car was in great shape and we were able to test drive it. The salesman wasn't pushy at all and was just there to simply show us the car. We decided we liked it and wanted to know specifics on the price. I knocked one star down because I didn't really like the process of putting in an application just to get a price. Also, once we got a price and if you want to finance through them, the interest rates are very, very high! I would negotiate that interest rate down if you have good credit and are putting a good amount down. All in all, Steeve and the staff were great to work with and highly recommended them! read more

Update: I called Pen Fed to confirm whether they require a warranty to finance the car. ANSWER WAS NO. Matter of fact, they said they've never heard of such a thing. So this dealer lied to me about that, and after seeing this review, turned me down as a customer for having a voice and being honest. I even offered to update it if they honored their prior deal. Don't do business with them; I hope this helps the next person. Stealership alert! They are very sneaky with how they assemble their deals. I was asked to do a credit application directly after a test drive. This was before I was decided, anything was negotiated on my trade in, and no dealer fees were discussed. I was able to get a price breakdown before filling out the credit application. I noticed an expensive, unnecessary warranty I was told was not required. I also discovered they push a $1.5k charge for outside financing. I decided to apply for inside financing given how many creditors they work with. After being approved and getting two hard runs on my credit, they inflated the price by over $3k due to this this 3 year warranty all of a sudden being non-negotiable. I did not appreciate the terms being changed after I got insured on this new vehicle. Of all their creditors, they couldn't find someone who'd finance without a warranty, unbelievable despite my stellar credit. I walked away with nothing. Two hard runs on my credit, an extra expense from insuring vehicle that isn't mine, and a day wasted. I've never seen a creditor deny a small loan due to no warranty, so I'm forced to believe this boils down to dishonesty between the managers. read more

Total corruption...I bought a truck and in first hour I drove it and no oil pressure sensor lit up...i pulled over and it had no oil whatsoever....next day they apologised.. So now 2 weeks later i finally have time to take to chevy dealer to find out engine is missfire and transmission is slipping hard...basically i am at a loss and i don't know why i went there...i am very sad and depressed...thx synergy.. Negative stars. Not trustworthy. Cars are in terrible condition. Their "policy" is to NOT detail the cars before they actually have a buyer for them. How professional is that? They just recently acquired a mechanic. Been in business how long? Do NOT trust. They will try to hustle you. All they care aboit is how hugh a down payment they can get, only to agree on one and then ask for more 2 daya later. If you want tp get hustled this is the place to go. The owner doesnt car e about your needs and their recently acquired (like mechanic) is not professional in any sense of the word. He will only try to get the most down payment possible to pocket. Absolutely shit. Do not trust, if i could give zero stars i would. Despite the workers smoke in the dealership building, they are lazy and disrespectful. I went in to buy a car, they wouldn't pull the car I was interested in out so that i could test drive it. I went at 5, but it took forever to do the initial paperwork which is okay. I got approved for the car, but there was more paperwork to do so they wanted me to come back the next day since it was past 7 (thats when they close) at this point I still haven't test driven the car but still interesting i agreed to coming back the next day. However i live 40 minutes away from the dealership, thats tolls and gas money i wasn't intrigued to spend just because of their laziness. I was told to come by at 12 because they open at 10. I explained the only time i could make it out there was 10, so i figured id drive the car while i wait for the rest of the paperwork to be done. I got there at 10, walked in and the first thing the manager said was "i thought i told you to come at 12" Extremely rude, should not treat a customer that way. I asked to test drive the car and still they were reluctant to pull it out for me. Then my sales agent in the middle or helping me stopped to help someone else, while i was waiting for him to pull the car out like I had asked. They told me they would call when the paperwork got back. They never called which is fine i don't want a car from them anyway. Another dealership has already gotten me as a customer and i left that dealership very happy (That dealership was Ambar Motors they are amazing) Very disappointed, left unhappy with their service. They do car sales the way a car purchase should go - pleasant, honest, customer-focused, pain-free, and no hidden added fees. We'd driven 2 hours, 7 minutes to Davie, FL to look at a used car at an operation nearby that turned out to be crap and were surfing the internet for used cars/car dealers nearby when we found them. We called and Stanley told us the car we initially liked had been sold but as it was only 1.1 miles from where we were, we drove over there to check out their other inventory. From the start to finish of our transaction we were greeted warmly, professionally, and with the attitude that we and our business were important. We liked an SUV that was in the parking lot and Stanley quickly had Isaac come out and talk to us about it in the parking lot. We came to terms, including our trade, right then and there in a matter of minutes. On the test drive we noticed the pop up display that it needed an oil change. They sent it out and had it done before we took possession of the vehicle. The paperwork/payment part of the process of course is laborious but they made it positive and upbeat. The only costs above the sale price were state sales tax and a pre-delivery service fee. That's all. They even offered to wash the vehicle (which was already pristine inside and out and smelled fine, too) before we left but we declined as we had that over 2 hour drive back home still to do.
