I see why this company only has three stars. Avoid this company at all cost unless you want to be overcharged for routine pest control services. I was charged $299 for this company's services. I was then lead to believe I would have 6 additional payments for services every other month. They have fast talking sales people who mislead you into signing ridiculous one year contracts with them. For a year of service I will be paying approximately another $1400 for bi monthly pest control service In addition to the $299 charge that I believed went towards the cost of the plan. I'm paying $103 a month including the months that they don't provide service. I also was unaware I was signing a contract especially one that clearly allows for me to be over charged on a monthly basis. Now after using the service for about 6 months I realize how much I was being charged. Now that was not enough of a payment for this company. in order to get out of this horrible deal they want another $250 to get out of contract. I didn't realize I was signing a one year contract for pest control service. I was lead to believe I would only pay for the months they actually came out to service my home. I urge people to avoid this ripoff company at all cost. Should you sign a contract with this company you will be in for a big surprise once service begins. This company only has one goal and that is to get you to sign a one contract . Once you sign up for services from this company they will begin charging you monthly charges whether they service your home or no. Don't ever sign a one year contract with this business or you will be severely over charged. They use fast talking sales people to lure you in. These fast talkers will either skip through questions about the cost of a yearly services as they want to avoid question. read more

I had a salesperson name Glen come to my door who I spoke with for a good 40-45 minutes. He seemed very friendly and talkative at the time but then I found out I was told nothing but lies by him. He said alot of stuff to convince me to get service that I found out was not true. Things like there was no contract since I own the property, that I could skip appts if I needed to, that the cost of sevice was $60 when they come out to spray and much more. In reality there is a contract, you can't pause service and the service fee is actually $120. Glen also told me that my neighbor had roaches so they were gonna spray his house the next morning and the bugs would run to my house so they could just bring the hose over to my house and spray at the same time. Which was also another lie because my neighbor the exact house Glen pointed to told me he doesn't even go with them he goes with Green Mango and they are a real good company that they come out the first sign of bugs.Glen also told me that too but when I called the Greenleaf and told them I had already found 7 scorpions they said no I have to wait 2 weeks before they come back out. Thats not even everything I was told by him that was a lie. I tried to reach out to the office but I even had a hard time trying to reach a manager. I called June 2nd manager was supposed to call me back but never did. I called back again June 4th they said she would call back again but never did. So I finally called back 3 weeks later because I still haven't received a call back and finally spoke with someone to get basically told I'm stuck with them unless I pay a $250 termination fee. I pretty much got screwed over by this guy who is still working with them and still out there telling people lies to persuade them to sign up. Be careful with this company!! read more

Short story: Sales guys are dishonest to make sales. Branson informed me he is the son of the owner of the company while then claiming it's got "zero risk of causing cancer and things like that because it's 100% made from chrysanthemum flowers, that's the difference between our company and the others in the area", but the bottles literally label carcinogenic compounds in the ingredients, and that statement is verified untrue. Side story and also main point: I watched my grandmother endure leukemia and the chemotherapy treatments recommended. Her leukemia was and continues to be significant with populations where the use of pesticides/herbicides and/or runoff is common. I told Branson this and he straight lied to my face with a smile to make the sale. She taught me, at the age of 79, not to let synthetics on our properties for pest control. Even now she is helping me learn that the real pest encounters may just be the solicitors of the synthetics to begin with. Keep fuckin suck the balls of the corporate lords you admire Branson. Looking forward to hanging a NO SOLICITORS sign after that. I will say the tech was knowledgeable of the products and the office staff was reasonable with their contract release when presented with a calm respectful and solution-focused attitude in the face of a let down for saving us from the freaking bugs with naturally occurring compounds without increasing carcinogenic toxin load risk of my family. Anyway, it was funny that someone else labeled Branson as being dishonest previously... Bc that's my opinion too. read more

Never had a pest company until I relocated to Arizona. When we bought our home the realtor even insisted that if we didn't already have critters, we eventually would as we do reside in a desert. Once we moved into our new home we were greeted by a Greenleaf sales man that offered for us to get our first service for a small fee and sign a one year contract to ensure that we could prevent pests from coming indoors. We were very excited with the first service & like many others I couldn't understand why the bugs became very active. When I called the office a very nice receptionist explained the "flushing" process and assured me that the bugs would die off immediately. The next day we noticed many dead roaches outdoors around our home and many other dead bugs. This made us very happy. Then like many others I saw one or two scorpions that were live and contacted the office again. The receptionist explained that if they were slow moving and out during the day then they were actually in the dying process. Since our yard has been routinely serviced via our contract, I no longer see any activity.I have since then added their weed service to my account & am very happy with the results. The techs always let me know when they are coming "a time frame" & I lock up my toy chihuahuas until my yard is fully serviced. The product is pet safe once it dries and this makes me feel less stressed about my little dogs getting sick. Overall this company is fantastic and I love that they came to my door or else I wouldn't of heard of who they are! read more

Jesus Alvares was very professional and knowledgeable. He introduced himself when he first arrived and that's when he told me what he would be doing. I had asked him at that point if he could spray the inside of the house as well and without hesitation he said "absolutely can". There was an issue with my backyard being flooded by a neighbors overwatering their yard, Jesus came back and informed me that he rather be safe than sorry and didn't want to spray for safety of my dogs. He didn't want the pesticide getting into the standing water that flooded the yard from which my pets had access to. He informed me that I could schedule someone to come out another day when the yard is dry to spray the back yard. He also showed me he notated this into my account so when I called to reschedule the spray for the backyard I wouldn't run into any issues. I highly recommend Green Leaf, the other exterminators I had was in and out in a matter of mins which showed lack of concern and ability to do the job effectively. However Green Leaf is attentive, professional, kind technician with great customer service. read more

We purchased our home as a foreclosure. It had been vacant for awhile and backed up to a greenway, so the bugs had made themselves at home! We went through several pest control companies before finally discovering Greenleaf. They claimed that their product & service was so good, that we only needed service every 3 months. But, if for whatever reason, they did need to come back within that 3 month period, the additional service would be free. I admit, I was skeptical. My current service was coming every 2 months and they were not getting the job done. But we gave them a try. That was about 3 1/2 years ago and we have been HAPPY, SATISFIED customers ever since! I think in all that time, I only had to call them back once to repeat a service. And they did it free of charge. Everything about the company, from the office staff to field techs, is top notch. Friendly, courteous, professional and competent. They get the job done! I have, and will continue to, recommend Greenleaf to friends, family and clients. I'm happy with the service. The office staff have always been polite and professional. I usually reach their answer machine after hours. I've always received a return call by the next business day. I appreciate the fact that their employees place coverings over their shoes before entering my home without me having to ask them to do so. I have a problem with scorpions. This seems to be an ongoing problem. Greenleaf spray for them and within a week, I find another live scorpion. Greenleaf always willing come back out to spray again. If I could change one thing about the company, it would be that they had a better product for eliminating scorpions. With the other insects/bugs, I find them dead and I don't have a problem with this. If I found the scorpions dead instead of on my furniture or floor still alive, then I could rate Greenleaf 5 out of 5 stars. read more

A few people recommended Greenleaf and I have to say I'm glad I called. Celeste and Leo took care of the invasion of crickets in my house (they seem to just show up out of nowhere) and other little minor critters as well as the ants outside. I tried several home remedies to rid my house of the dreaded night time shrill of the crickets, but to no avail. Very friendly and knowledgeable, she answered all my questions and was very helpful with making suggestions. She explained all the products that were used and everywhere that was sprayed, the whole process. If I continue to see activity I can call them and they will re-spray. Customer service goes along way with me, I think Mandy is the person I spoke with on the phone, she's nice, professional and military friendly. I have used Greenleaf for years and never have any problems with bugs. There are times like this when the weather is HOT that of course will bring out certain bugs. But if see any thing I call them. I did experience an ant issue. They came right out did there magic and NO more ants. I also have 2 dogs that have never experienced any side effects from whatever they use. Everyone from the Office to the service people that come out are very nice and professional. During this Covid time they are also very cautious just letting you know they are here and when they are done. There are times I am not home and they will just leave a card on the door saying they were here. Always let me know in advance by email that my service is due and they will be out. Love this Company. Worst company in the planet. I sold my home a few days after I signed their contract (before they even provided any kind of services), I called to cancel and I was told I needed to pay the $250 cancellation fee, and that new service would not transfer to new owners. 2 months later I get a call from Greenleaf stating that I owe them 2 months of services on a house that I was not living any longer. I asked to speak to a manager but never had that kind of luck to do so. Now I am stuck paying the $250 cancellation fee plus 2 months of service that they provided to a house that was not mine anymore. I asked them who gave them permission to go into the home if I was the one in the contract? they told me that they are not required to ask as the contract is in place for that reason. The sales team member told me he was treating all of my neighbors homes, which wasn't true. Led me to believe there wasn't a contract and there was.....Went down the street and sold to my neighbor for $50 less than what he quoted me. I even invited the guy into my house and gave him a beer. Even if their product works, their sales tactics are so unprofessional I'm out as soon as my contract is up. I used to believe that a handshake is as good as a contract. It's certainly not with these guys....Typically I don't leave bad reviews and chalk it up to one bad apple but they asked in exchange for $5 off my next treatment. Reading through the reviews, looks like I'm not the only one the sales team rubbed the wrong way. I have been using Greenleaf for about 2 years now. Started when I found a HUGE scorpion that had come up through my sink (the house had been vacant for about a month before this). They came out and sprayed inside and out, reminding me that they might have stirred up more activity but told me to call if they continued. Saw one more and then they were gone. So I have been pest-free inside the house all this time. Now, outside is another matter. Each spring/summer ants take over my pool in the late afternoon, marching around the inner edge. So gross when all I want to do is sit on the edge and dangle my feet! Greenleaf put down this clear gel that attracted a gazillion ants straight away . . . which they carried back to their queen. And now there are no more pests outside either. Hurrah for Greenleaf! read more

In this review, I intend to share my experience with a new pest control service that recently established operations in my neighborhood and my residence. Initially, their services were satisfactory. They ensured that the problem spray was applied precisely to the designated areas. However, in the past few months, I have repeatedly requested that they spray in specific locations, such as over here and placing ant bait. Despite my requests, they have consistently failed to fulfill these requests. When I checked my window, I discovered that they had simply removed some leaves without applying the necessary treatments. Consequently, I regret to inform you that I no longer recommend this business. In my opinion, their value has diminished. read more

We started using Greenleaf Jan of 2012 up until now because we are moving. We only had a 1 year contract but continued their services. They automatically take out 30 bucks a month. Now that we gave notice they are saying we owe them $123 or so. I noticed on their billing statement they sent to us that there is a finance charge (what? I didn't finance anything.) Anyhow, this company is not good with your money. Shame on me to trust. I have a bad habit of giving people the benefit of the doubt. Lesson learned for me. Does anyone have advice for me if they continue to take money from my account? I believe it is illegal when I already gave notice to stop services. Greenleaf's Julian has been taking care of my home (inside and outside every two months) since it was built in 2012. They take care of both garage floors, property walls and perimeter of the house as well as the interior. Initially, because of all the new construction, I had a few scorpions that were dead (thank god) by the time I saw them. They still will occasionly jump into the pool for a free swim, but die on contact with the salt water. Seems my neighbor has palm trees and scorpions love palm trees. Julian sprays extra heavy along our adjoining wall. They guarantee to come back "gratus" and respray between my normal contract periods if I have any problems. We've had the quarterly service since 2010 and have always been satisfied. We always get alerts about 2 weeks prior to scheduled maintenance & when we need to reschedule it's never a problem. They always spray the front & back & inside if we request it. I've even forgotten they were coming & they've done what they can outside & then came back to finish or do the inside on a different day. Our prices have never gone up and always been billed as expected. We have pets and the products they use work well & aren't harmful to our animals, inside or out. We plan to continue our service as we've never experienced anything but excellent customer service, quality and reliability from Green Leaf Pest Control. read more

When we move into the Valley 6 1/2 years ago , our Real Estate agent , suggested a Franchisee of a major pesticide Company . A major mistake! We have a backyard of grass , and concerned about scorpions and other critters .when we had the grandchildren over ! They were inconsistent , with their applications , one time , by the time , I got to the garage , so they could spray in there , I was told he had completed the backyard , which was an impossibility ! I did complain and had it redone , However , I then looked for a local company and started with Greenleaf . I have never been disappointed with them or their technicians . Twice now, your representatives have come to my front door and have been rude and condescending when I have politely informed them that we are not interested in setting up service. The first incident, I opened the door, gave the rep a few minutes to do their thing, and then told him we were all good with pest control. His response? "So you're saying you like living with bugs?" The second (last night), when I once again politely told your rep that we were all set and good with pest control, he said "So you're all good with all these ants crawling around your front door?" There were no ants. Because of this representation, I will never use Greenleaf nor will I recommend them. read more
