Don't know where to begin! I met Regina in March 2020 right before the world shutdown due to the pandemic. She spent hours with my mother and I perfecting everything detail of my dream invitation for my wedding October 2020. She was personable yet professional. She truly loves her job, she is not a money hungry wedding vendor trying to rip her brides off. As a bride, I've met many different vendors from dress stores to florists and if there's one thing they all have in common- trying to get as much as they can from a bride planning her dream wedding. This was not Regina, her prices were extremely reasonable and the quality incomparable. As I said this was amidst the pandemic, so I didn't know if my 10/11/20 would happen. After receiving the quote and design proof from Regina I told her I would like to wait before placing the order since no one knew if this pandemic would effect my wedding. She responded with nothing but kind words and hoped for the best. Fast forward to May 2020, I decided to postpone until March 2021- but then September 2020 decided to replan my wedding in a month to get married on our original 10/11/20 date. Unfortunately, because I decided a month before the wedding to have it again there was not enough time to send paper invites. I had to do the 21st century pandemic thing and send an evite (ew, I know) but I was left with no other choice given the short notice. However, I still needed place-cards for my bridal shower and the wedding. Regina could not have been more accommodating, she got them done quickly and they were PERFECTION. When I went to pick up the place-cards, she could not express how happy she was that amidst this pandemic I was going to have my wedding. With tears in her eyes and genuine happiness, she told me she had a surprise for me. She then handed me the stunning invitation we had spent hours planning. Regina wanted to ensure I had a real copy of my invitation to take pictures of and cherish forever. Her genuine, passionate, kind hearted work should be known to every bride. Our wedding invitations created by Plum Paperie were simply magnificent. We received so many compliments from our guests who were enamored by the unique, elegant design and luxurious quality. They really set the stage for our party and we were so happy and proud to send them out in the mail. Regina, the new owner of Plum Paperie, took the time to ask me many questions (about our style, budget, color preference, the venue, etc) over the phone before our first meeting. When I arrived at the shop for our consultation, Regina had a special, curated collection of samples and styles for me to look at. I came here on a whim. I always pass by the display window & have never actually been inside. The storefront is small & they mainly offer invitations & things for the day of the wedding. They do seating charts, but that's mainly the extent of it. They did have pretty invitations displayed, but way too expensive. They were friendly & offered help several times. Regina really took the time to design us a nice and classy fall wedding invitation within our budget.

It doesn't get any better than Matthew and Erica. I was so overwhelmed with everything online and with all the different options, so my mom convinced me to go to a few shops around town (I live in Manhattan and she's on Staten Island) to get an idea of what was out there and to see samples in person. Plum Paperie was the last store we stopped into after a day-long excursion of shopping around. It is not possible to be any happier with the results. Matthew took the time to sit down and go through all the books I wanted. Matthew showed me a TON of invitations, all that I loved, but none quite what I had envisioned and so he said to take my time and we could come back to the conversation once I wrapped my head around all the options. The quotes were a little higher than expected as well, but that can always be worked out. This all being said, my fiance went through the online catalog for Carlson Craft and found an invitation we fell in love with and that was more in our price range, and so I rang up Matthew and we went back into the store to see the invitation in person. It was PERFECT! And Matthew and Erica worked with me on the font and placement, as well as color of the accompaniments and all that goes along with it. I am super picky and really type A, but never once did either of them make me feel like I was imposing or being annoying (thanks again btw!). They were both also great and informative on what traditionally goes where in terms of invitation wording and how to word certain sections - always great to work with pros! The invitations turned out beautifully! I had a new designer design a dinner invitation for a few nights before the wedding and then asked if Plum Paperie could print them. Not only did Erica work with me to make sure the sizes of the files needed were exactly what they needed, they printed them on beautiful paper and were happy to include black envelopes instead of the traditional white (we also printed Thank You notes that matched from the designer). These turned out wonderfully as well! I cannot recommend Plum Paperie enough, it was such an awesome experience and took the stress out of what I was finding to be the most stressful part of wedding planning so far. I absolutely loved working with Matthew and Erica for my wedding stationery. I ordered my invitations, wax seals, menu cards, escort cards, ceremony programs, and rented my card box from them. Working with them was a joy they are both very sweet and clearly take pride in their work. I honestly don't know where to start but basically that Matthew and Erica were amazing! I had Matthew and Erica help me with several things for my wedding and everything came out perfect!!! I am a very hard customer to please, Erica went above and beyond all my expectations. I wanted something different and had an idea of what I wanted, Erica got the exact design of what I wanted. She was very patient and gave me so many ideas which I had never seen before. The invitations came out AMAZING, and their customer service was amazing. They worked over time to make sure everything was ready when needed. I find the previous review hard to believe, first off the list should have been emailed in a excel format but since it was type and printed they had to retype all of the information. I am very hard to please and work in an industry that deals with pleasing customers. So when I look for vendors to work with I hold them to a higher standard. Erica added her personal touch and work with me on everything. She was super sweet and incredibly professional. They were able to face many different obstacles, due to the hurricane and still get everything to me on time. They truly brought my vision of the invitations to life. The Invitations came out gorgeous and I can't stop looking at them!!!! PLUM BLOSSOM PAPERIE WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WILL and i have already recommended then to several people. I was uncertain if I wanted to get my wedding invitations from a brick-and-mortar or order them online, but after walking into Plum Paperie, I decided to move forward with ordering them from the store! Regina recently took over ownership of Plum Paperie, so the old Google reviews are for the previous owners; ignore them because it does not reflect the new ownership! I am so glad I decided to check this place out. I had a fantastic experience! Regina is warm and welcoming. She took her time to help me narrow the style of invitations I was looking for. I never felt rushed, and I never felt like she was pushing me to choose or purchase anything, which I've learned is hard to find with a lot of vendors, especially when dealing with a wedding. I was given a large variety of designs and books to choose from. Once I narrowed it down to a few invitations that I liked, Regina gave me a breakdown of pricing with options of add-ons. The prices were extremely reasonable and comparable to online sites like Minted. What really sold me was that I was able to personalize any invitation I wanted with fonts, colors, backing or rhinestones (just to name a few things), which is something I couldn't do on online sites. More importantly, I had A LOT of words I needed to fit onto the invitation - too much to fit in the allotted lines on Minted. It seemed impossible and I was worried it couldn't get done, but Regina worked so hard to make it happen! I changed my mind so many times about the fonts, spacing, and wording; Regina always came through to show me my options! She never made me feel like I was a bother, even though I was being incredibly indecisive and sending her panicked emails whenever a new worry or concern popped into my head! When I finally made my decisions about what I wanted, she submitted the (lengthy) wording as an art design, and the company was able to put it on my invitation. They sent over proofs, which I approved, and the results were stunning! I absolutely love my wedding invitations, and I have received so many compliments on them so far! I'm so glad I was able to participate in the design of my invitation with Regina's help, and at a cost that was well within my budget. She even threw in a couple of freebies to help me out with other parts of my wedding (the store carries a variety of things - card boxes, table numbers, and even papyrus cards)! I went to the Plum Paperie in search of the perfect wedding invitation! What I received far surpassed my expectations. Mathew and Erica offer superb service. They took my visions and worked diligently to make it a reality. My invitations were finished promptly and came out stunning!! They appeased any wedding stress I had. The worst customer service! I had my wedding invitations picked out from them I loved how they had such a variety. I only needed about 57 wedding invites and about 30 were incorrect. The names were spelled wrong or changed, apartment numbers left out. There was no consistency with how words were spelled out (street, apartment or blvd- some invites had words spelled out in full and some were abbreviated, it's a wedding invite it should be spelled out in full. I gave them a typed out list of names and addresses, if they had a question about the spelling of names someone should have called me and not take it upon themselves to change it!!! (What company does that, completely not professional.) The owners told me they would make the changes and have the corrected envelopes to us before the end of the day. End of day came no envelopes. Finally after banging on the door someone answered to say "oh yeah we are working on the envelopes now"). We dropped the envelopes off early morning its well after 7pm...Great so now they are rushing and bound to make more mistakes, which was exactly the case. They misspelled names (like the mother of the groom), they changed the font. Not once did we receive an apology or our money back. When the drivers dropped off the envelopes my husband and I happen to be outside our home, the owner pretended to be on the phone to avoid all confrontation and gave the envelopes to his wife to hand to us. (Really?! What a coward!) We would told in an email (because their business line was disconnected) that we could only be refunded $30 the printing fee...when we paid $800 for 75 wedding invites. It's the principle that matters, you run a busy, you make a mistake, you apologize correct the issue and make sure your customers leave feeling satisfied this way they can still recommend you future business. Unfortunately not the case for us and we already told three of friends who were getting married NOT to go there. Spare yourself the drama! read more
