Today was an awesome day to wash a car. The lines were short and the vacuums were free. I checked in after I paid, but I did get a coupon for money off. So, be sure to checkin prior to purchasing. I have a white car so I probably should have purchased a wash that did a lil more, but overall it came out ok and my rims were glistening because I did purchase the tire shine. The vacuums were pretty much free so I could really take my time and vacuum my car thoroughly. I will return to use that coupon very soon! read more

Took the car to the car wash and used my $23 monthly pass it automatically chooses the $11 deluxe car wash. The gentleman that directs the car to get on the platform was not very pleasant, very serious and seemed bother that I arrived and he had to get off his phone. Went to vacuum the car and notice the car was still pretty dirty, specially the front of car. Second time running the car through the car was still some bug grime, but better. I must say the second gentleman that was picking up the trash, making side that the trash cans were empty and ensuring the vacuums hoses were working. I appreciate him doing so, since previous times there are many vacuums that are broken. Hope the prices stay where they are at and not increase once again. read more

Who likes a dirty car? Not me. Clean cars go faster, use less gas and pick up more women. Or so I have heard. Greenway is easy in and easy out with plenty of bays with free vacuums once you've been through the wash. The last couple of times I've been there, they were offering a $3 express wash but you have to make sure you ask for it specifically or they will give you the standard $5 regular wash. Meanwhile, Mrs K and her fancier/nicer car get the $30 monthly deal that gives you unlimited $12 full washes that include all the bells and whistles. It makes her car look awesome and I have no problem with that at all. It uses a transponder that's inside a decal stuck to the inside of her windshield for minimal disruption and maximum throughput. I filed a report and took my car back up there to let the manager see it and he tried to tell me my car had curve damage. I have been going to this car wash for about 2 years at least twice a month. I never had a problem there before up until yesterday. Ended up with a broken windshield whipper. And of course I had to come out of my pocket to replace it and trust me they weren't cheap. If you can, please go to a different car wash it may be cheap but not worth it. And don't let me start about the customer service it was awful. I work in the customer service industry and could never speak to a customer they way I was spoken to. I was skeptical driving up to Greenway only because some car washes that look like this one just arent that good. This one is different. At gas stations, there are crummy washes that just wipe the foam strands over your car and barely rinse the soap. This one gives you a few options and the mid grade one is about 15 dollars, I think. If you check in with Yelp though, there are often deals for "$XX.XX off a Ultimate Wash" etc. I am someone that MUST shine their tires and have never been to a place (Even Autobell) that shines them the way I like. Greenway has an automatic tire shine spray machine that does a really great job on my Scion tC tires!!! read more

I would give this place less than one star if I could. The owner does not appreciate his customers. I had a membership here, but cancelled it due to noticing more scratches on my black SUV and the vehicle not getting clean. Fast forward to now. My son's car was damaged during a car wash. I spoke with owner Lance Eubanks who stated that because his car is more than 5 years old he is not responsible for damage. I told him what I was understanding is because my car is more than 5 years old I should not use you services because you do not stand behind you service. He said no that is not what he said, but when your car wash damages a car and you won't even give a refund for the wash this is the message. If you car is more than 5 years old Lance will take your money, but to him your car is trash and shouldn't be washed in his facility because it is not worth his time. I didn't ask him to pay for the entire panel that was damaged, but contribute to even just buying the glue to re-attaching it. His statement was just glue it back on then. His attitude towards your property is screw you, you are not worth my time. There is a sign posted, but you can only read it after you have paid and you are about to enter the car wash. I enjoy coming to Greenway Carwash, however over the last 3 years they have increased their pricing tremendously! They went from $4 to $8 in 3 years for a car wash. I wish they would stop increasing the pricing, and if the prices increase then use that money toward bettering the cleaning equipment and the timing in the car washing area. The additional services that you pay extra for, there's something wrong with the timing. I'm not sure who can fix this, as I've shared it with the team onsite. read more

Just had my car run through the express wash and on the other side the whole back end of the car was still dirty! Told the manager Will it was still dirty and asked him if he would run it through again and was told:"The owners policy is only once for express washes" I mentioned the car was still dirty and he told me I should have bought the $20 lava shield wash. In April 2015, I ran my brand new Toyota Camry thru Greenway Express Carwash only to have it come out of the carwash dirty. I asked the Owner to run it thru again and he said no. They were offering all-u-can-wash monthly fast passes so the next time I went I purchased this pass so I didn't have to argue about going back thru again. Yes, I had to run back thru a few times. Also, I noticed every single time I ran the car thru, there would be soap left over on my left mirror. Then on 5/1/15 approximately 7pm, my brand new car got stuck in the middle of the carwash. The car in front of me was able to get out, and the car behind me was able to back out. However, I was in the middle of the carwash and my new car was stuck with no way to get out without damaging my car. I waited inside my car for 1/2 hour. Then got out and waited in the lobby for an additional 1/2 hour. The owner's brother showed up and fixed the chain: a roller fallen off the chain and had jammed. I asked the brother if I could receive a free carwash pass that month since I had just renewed (it was 5/1) for the inconvenience of waiting one hour and missing my plans for the evening. He said he would talk to the owner and explain what happened and he took my name and number. Since this was a Friday evening, I waited the weekend then called Monday at 4pm and left a message. I called and left message on Tuesday. When there was no response, I stopped by there and spoke with the brother. He said he had told the owner, but he couldn't make him call me. He said the owner said he would "handle it." I stated if I can't get the free month, I just want to cancel the pass. But the brother said any paybacks would have to be handled by the Owner. I have now called and left a message each day for the past week. No return phone call. This dismissive behavior and obvious disregard for my valuable time and inconvenience shows this business cares nothing about its customers. I am cancelling my pass the end of this month and telling all friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and anyone I can think of to never use this business. read more

Over a month ago, I had a bad experience when I got stuck in the tunnel due to the manager neglecting his duty of ensuring the exit door was open. Well, I received a response from this company on FB, and I will have to give them credit, they took my message seriously! I decided to give them a second chance, I documented every existing scratch on my truck and then proceeded to run my truck through the wash. A detailed inspection revealed that some of those scratches were actually soap residue from a gas station car wash(very stupid of me to do to begin with). The staff do care about their customers. Don't go here. Wasted money. For starters the machine didn't give me back all of my change... then they turned off the vacume before I got the chance to clean anything other than my trunk. I realize I went through the wash toward the end of the day but the vacume should run for at least 15 minutes past the time that the last car goes through. When it was apparent that I wasn't happy being cut short the attendant said "I will give you a free wash for next time".. and handed me a piece of paper... Looking at it when I got home it is only a coupon for $5 off of a $15+ wash. I am not a big complainer... The rubber seal under the rack on the top of my Lexus truck came off during the wash. The employee states, "to be honest the owner is not going to fix it you should just buy some super glue from auto zone". I'm shocked and appalled. Extremely disrespectful owner/manager. Have been a fast pass customer for about three months $30 a month. I am a driver for Uber so my car has to be constantly clean for my guests I pick up. My car was in the shop so I have a loaner from the dealership for a few weeks. I was just charged my monthly fee and have yet to use my membership. The owner tells me that he refuses to let me wash my loaner car unless I pay for a wash even though I have a unlimited plan. I can't wash a car I don't have. Told me I have no business washing a loaner car they will do it for me no what my reasons are for washing my car I pay 30 a month for unlimited service. Will never be using this car wash again will go to wiki. Besides there is always soap left on my car and wiki is a much better car wash brush wise/ customer service. This place is a rip off! We bought what we thought was a one month pass without being told it would automatically renew. Without noticing we paid for several months. When my wife went to speak with the owner he was extremely rude and basically said too bad. After complaining the owner took the pass off the window, even though we were already drafted for this month and said just come in and let me know if you want a wash this month, I'll remember. I arrived at the car wash location around 6:00pm - 6:15pm today. I purchased the duluxe wash for $11 and when I arrived at the wash entrance the attendant, who I later found out was the "manager", asked me for a receipt which was strange as he did not ask the car in front of me the same. Although, that's not really the issue. When I approached the end of the wash the light never turned green to indicate it was finished and ok to drive forward. My car rolled back and the car behind me bumped me on the bumper. At that point I took it upon myself to drive out. Once I pulled into the vacuum area, I informed a different gentleman of the issue just to make him aware. The car that was behind me pulled up and stated the same scenario happened with her. Five minutes later the "manager" came out and asked if I had a complaint, so I stopped vacuuming and merely explained what happened as I did to the other gentleman. Nothing serious, just wanted to make you guys aware. I told him my car wasn't damaged and I was fine. He then proceeded to explain that all cars are different lengths and the light won't turn green all the time and it should be "COMMON SENSE" to drive forward. Now if there's one thing I know, is that in a customer facing business you should never try to belittle the customer. The "manager" is ultimately the face of your company and what he exhibited was very poor customer service. His job was to de-escalate the situation and present a solution, not tell the customer to use "common sense". The light not working was not that big of an issue but that one individual and his communications ruined my total experience at that car wash. read more

This was a preferred (Convenient, local and fast) car wash until the last and my final experience. Maybe this info will be useful to others when deciding to patronize this place. I say go across to the street to Autobell they have the chops, experience and the staff clearly care about the client experience. The following email was sent to the owner, but he never responded to it. Instead I had to call to follow up and asked to be contacted again (I left my business card and a quick note asking to be contacted the day of the event). When I received a return call it was from the employee on duty that answered my follow up call. I was told because I used profanity (The word Sh*t) the owner has no intention of addressing my concerns. Additionally the employee who call back told me that my car wasn't in neutral (even though he repeatedly told me "I wasn't there, so I can't say much about it" during my initial follow up call) that's why their faulty equipment didn't work...So ultimately no accountability from the owner, the staff even the apparatus that's washing the vehicles gets a pass. To that I say what a crock of Sh*t and go elsewhere even if it's your drive way with a bucket of suds the customer service here is no existent. Also grown men clearly clutch their pearls when the word Sh*t is used even when provoked by there actions. Good Day, Allow me to share why and what lead up to the use of profanity. About an hour ago I visited the S. Tryon location of Greenway Express Car wash. When I went through the wash, it didn't wash the car it just pushed the car through and at the end the car was covered in soap. The Staff on duty wave me to come back around. This time the 2nd young man on duty set up the system and asked is the car in neutral to which I confirmed (for the 2nd time it was). The process begins, only a moment later the employee knocks on the window and ask...for the 3rd time is the car in neutral. I again confirm it is. He states it is going way to fast, and instructs me to back up slightly. I oblige and then ask now what? He yells to the other young man, Turn it back on... Guess what happens next? Soap and water shoot directly into my face and mouth and clear across the interior of the car soaking my coat and purse that were on the front seat. I say to employee, Thanks a lot, roll the window up and continue through the wash. When it's done I park and walk to the office the employee is heading to the paying kiosk but reluctantly heads toward me. I say "Seeing as how I have a face and car full of soap I'm going to ask for a refund" To which he slightly leans his head down and chuckles and then says "It got in the car?".... That one action infuriated me...The Audacity of inconsideration. He watched the soap spray me in the face and didn't offer any consolation or apology for that action alone...but to then find humor (in my face, laugh about it later if you must) and then ask me did it happen at all as if he wasn't standing there when it occur was insulting. I responded very candidly by saying "oh you find that funny, you watched the Sh*t, happen". The employee rebutted by saying "I was going to give you a refund but you cursed at me"....I stated plainly "you laughed in a paying customers face and you're offended by profanity of a miniscule level? Give me a break...Customer Care is a give and take...I didn't come over here in an ill mood about the incident. However that shifted based on the indifference and lack of empathy you have shown me." At that point I asked to see the manager, to which he responded he was the manager. I than asked for the contact information for the owner. At this point this is a matter of principle. I know on my worst day at the core of service is mutual consideration and empathy. That didn't happen on that day. I didn't even complete the service as my car was soaking wet (interior included) and I had to go elsewhere for a vacuum service. read more

I just went through this car wash and my car was still filthy. I went in to ask if they could run my car though again but they guy told me because I only purchased the $11 car wash there was nothing he would do. He just needed to brush off the front of my car but refused because he too lazy. This place used to have good service but apparently not anymore. I will not go back here. I have had a very good experience with this place until Thursday, Sep 17, 2015. I went in there with no scratches whatsoever on my car and as soon as I came out of the car wash and came out of the vehicle to vacuum my car I saw a big and wide scratch on the front driver side door. I am extremely particular about my car and I am 200% sure the scratch did not exist before. And there is no way to miss the scratch as it is on the driver side and not on the passenger side, which you can still miss. I told the owner several times that there are a couple of small marks on the roof of my car which I knew existed, but there is absolutely no way the latest scratch existed. I was doubly sure as I didn't even take out this car out for the past 2 days and it happened during car wash. But the owner was extremely arrogant and vehemently kept on denying. He kept on insisting it did not happen at the car wash. Please please think 10 times before getting into this car wash guys. I am absolutely shocked. The employee on the other hand was extremely nice when the incident happened and told me to report an incident and someone will call us on Sunday or Monday. My first time at the greenway car wash, the worst wash that I have ever been too. I bought this so called $18 wash with the lava process. As my car was passing through the wash it left nothing but streak marks on the windows and left the bumper dirty and unclean. This place is a " waste way" wash. I have seen better car washes at gas stations than this piece of s*%#. When you enter the wash there is an idiot waiting there to scrub your front windshield with this dirty old broom, to just add more dirt to your car. The so called free vacuums are waste of everyone's time, I pulled up to the vacuum and it was simply disgusting, there is trash all over the place and to put the cherry on top the vacuum nozzle was broken and separated from the hose. greenway is no different then their competitors across the street. You have a better chance at damaging your car if you go through greenway or the wash across the street. On top of that the staff at greenway is the most disrespectful I have ever seen.
