Just stopped in here, simply blown away at the well-curated and thoughtful selection of wine and spirits here. They don't have everything since it is a small shop, but I had a special request and Andre was more than happy to order it for me. This has never happened to me in a typical Park Slope wine store, people usually just want to move the product they already have. The overall atmosphere in here is warm and charming, the prices are reasonable and it makes me want to return again and bring friends. This is a terrific neighborhood wine and spirit shop, one of the best I've had in any neighborhood in over three decades of living all around NYC, a real find. Carl and Andre are incredibly nice guys, and very passionate and knowledgeable about wine. This place is small, but well-curated, with a wide-range of prices for every occasion, and they are always happy to steer you to great choices within your budget. I often just ask them to tell me about what new wines they think I might particularly like, and I'm often pleasantly surprised at how well they remember my particular preferences. I'm not a huge spirit drinker but occasionally I buy spirits for parties or as gifts, and they always make great recommendations -- they tend to stock memorable or unusual spirits, often made by small distilleries, and they always know a lot about the bottles they carry. Always a friendly atmosphere, and they always find something to fit your tastes, your budget. It's also the place where if you'd like to know more about wine or spirits, they are very happy to share their knowledge -- this is a passion for them. Probably the most knowledgeable and friendly wine and spirit shop owners I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Every time I go in there I'm being poured some amaro or something I didn't know existed and end up loving it. The shop itself is nice looking, clean and well organized. Everything is easy to find. They keep it well stocked with bottles from around the world but also make a real effort to support local distilleries, wines, and sake. Great place ! Simply put the selection is amazing and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They gave me outstanding recommendations. I talked with the staff about what champagne and sparkling wines that I have enjoyed in the past , and they listened and recommended a few options that were on point . I also appreciate the fact that I was looking at selections on the lower end of the price spectrum and they helped me pick out something delicious . On another visit I was looking for a whiskey or a bourbon , something that I do not usually drink and they helped me choose something that my guests LOVED. They have a well curated selection of wine and spirts without being pretentious. Whether I was spending $15 or $70 for a bottle I got the same wonderful customer service that was knowledgeable, helpful , friendly, and genuine! Miracle of miracles... A bonafide liquor store for the true cocktail nerd! There's a wall of wine and a wall of spirits, but although the space is small, it's incredibly well curated. The best thing about this place is the ample shelf of locally made liquor. South Brooklyn is full of craft distilleries, and you can get pretty much all of their wares here. Breuckelen Distilling, Kings County, Barrow's Intense,and several other local booze operations are mixed in with Tuthilltown and Dorothy Parker spirits from further north. There's even an amaro made a few blocks away, a local rum, and two varieties of local absinthe. Also a damn good whiskey selection, local and otherwise! Beats a late night run to the guy behind bulletproof glass on 3rd avenue. Hallelujah, this place is an answer to prayer! read more

In fact I once mentioned that I was looking for a particular wine which they didn't carry at the time and within weeks the owner brought it in especially for me. Pre covid they used to do wine tastings which was a subtle but warm flex. You could tell they took pride in what they were carrying. I really love my Bourbon and decided to stop by new Greenwood Grape & Still... First, the new little store is gorgeous, second the guys in this store are super nice, super helpful and most important they know their shit. I ended up buying this very unique and great tasting bourbon, I can get Bullet or Makers anywhere but I usually look for stuff you cannot find in every store and they have it. Will def go back and try to find more cool Bourbon in that cute little liquor store. read more
