Then we booked a cake tasting and it was so in-depth with over 20 options and flavors to try and choose from! Outstanding, birthday cake off their list of "dime a dozen". Excellent! nothing ordinary about this cake whatsoever, vanilla cake with strawberry mousse filling. It was a birthday cake, but mostly for myself due to my excessive cake eating. Ok ok ok! So by now, many of you know that when it comes to cookies....I will throw out any good eating habits for a good cookie! Especially when they are big, chunky, delicious cookies like Crumbl and Chip. Well! A few months back, there was an insta contest. I believe it was the usual "follow this account and tag 3 friends! The more tags, the more chances you get! Yaaaaay!" Hahaha! Someone tagged me in Greg's insta contest and as soon as I saw his big ass cookies I was like...."LEAVE ME ALONE! IM STARVIN!!!" (90s kids will get that reference hahaha!) as soon as I saw his cookies I was pushin bitches our the way!! Did I win?!?! Hell nah! Hahahaha! But from that day forward, I was following Greg's insta page. He always posts these amazing looking cakes, cupcakes and of course, cookies on his insta page and in his stories. So last week, I took my lil man to get his hair did (lil man is my dog, Frank lol)...on my way back from dropping him off, I FINALLY stopped into Greg Marsh Cakes....to purchase....cookies! I wanted a birthday cake one as well as the cookies n cream, but alas! Birthday cake was sold out. If it's as amazing as the cookies n cream, then I totally understand why it was sold out. I was just happy to finally try them. My dumb ass too didn't realize how incredibly close his shop is to my house. Had I bothered to look that up before...these cookies and then some would have been had a long ass time ago haha! Now that I know it's like a 5-6 minute drive from my abode, I can venture over whenever I want. I always try to limit the amount of sugary treats I take in, but yallllllll, when it comes to cookies....I basically DGAF hahaha! His cookies are amazing! If you like Crumbl and even Chip, then again, who doesn't, you'll love these. My friend tried one of his cereal cookies, fruity pebbles, I think? Anyway, a month ago, she and I went to Chip and she got that same cookie and she said without a doubt that Greg's was a 1000x better. Like the other shops, Greg's cookies are also $3 a piece. Not sure if he does the 4 cookies for $10 like Crumbl and Chip do. Something I'll need to ask him about. 2 weeks ago, at the gym, dude taps on my shoulder and asks if I'm a photographer. I was taken back for a second and then he mentioned me messaging him about a little plastic ginger baby he had on one of his cookies in his insta story. So I remembered of course messaging him about it because I needed that ginger baby! Hahaha! Too long of a story to put here. Yelp will cut me off, lol! Anyway, that was Greg! We work out at the same gym. So I've now spoken to him more than just the one time at his shop and I can honestly say that he is one incredibly nice person. Very genuine. After meeting him and seeing how nice he is and how fantastic his cookies are hahaha, I really cannot wait to try his cakes/cupcakes. Those are also two other things I'll throw a good diet out for. HELLO! CAKE! And CUPCAKES! who doesn't love them?! Especially cake! Hahaha! I'm such a heffa. His cakes are super nice. Very pretty cakes/cupcakes from the pics I've seen and from the displays I saw. I know I can tell you all to get your cakes there just based off on how tasty the cookies are, lol, I just know that I will definitely give him my business in the future. It's hard to find someone who can make beautiful cakes the way he makes his. Before I run out of room, I better end. I'm so glad to have finally gone to his shops and of course, SO happy to finally try them cookies! Haha! I'll definitely go back. I was so much looking forward to my cake/cupcakes at my wedding. I was so disappointed :( The designs were simple! White fondant with Black fondant bows on top of the cupcakes. We had a small home wedding reception and Greg Marsh was so talented with the small cake we had him make. He was accommodating to our custom flavor requests when other vendors were not and made not only a very beautiful cake but one that was so divinely delicious as well. (Orange cake brushed with Grand Marnier infused simple syrup with a chocolate orange ganache filling). We had originally planned a large wedding but due to a family emergency had to downsize to immediate family. After tasting his samples at a bridal fair, we went to Greg for our wedding cake. We had 3 tiers: lemon poppy seed with lemon butter cream filling, red velvet with cream cheese filling, and lemon poppy seed with raspberry filling. Hands down, all 3 are best cake I've ever had (especially the lemon/lemon). The delivery was seamless and on time and they coordinated with the flower shop next door for the fresh flowers on the cake. We didn't have to do a thing. Perfection. read more

I am writing this review after our wedding celebration by 6 months. Why? Because not all things go perfectly. Greg came highly recommended for our event and that was good enough for me. The cake tasting was fun and I enjoyed that process of selection. We chose cupcakes of different flavors... I had ordered beautiful bright LIVE flowers to top all of them. However, when they arrived to the event the flowers were brown. Hummm,,, Our event was filled with 147 people and although the flowers were pretty much ugly, the cupcakes were delicious and everyone enjoyed them. I wanted to write a review and needed to know what happened to my real, live, colorful flowers? This is why I am giving Greg and his group 5 stars.... * Sometimes things are not perfect. Anyone, and I mean anyone doing an event needs to be adult enough to know that "Shit" can happen. * When inquiring what happened to the live flowers, Greg personally responded with exactly what happened and was very apologetic and accountable. He was honest and that alone gives him 5 stars. * He offered to refund half of our cost. (That wasn't what I wanted. We all loved the cupcakes and that didn't seem fair to me.. Ok, the flowers with their bright beautiful colors would have been cool, but who eats big Flowers anyway. The quality of the cupcake and flavor were devoured by everyone at the event. People even going back and making sure they got one of each flavor. I visited the eagle market on a Saturday afternoon, I think I have left maybe 2-3 yelp reviews in my life and this seems like something EVERYONE needs to know. I just had the most decadent cookie I've ever tasted. It's lemony blueberriness melted in my mouth. The presentation is almost too beautiful to eat.. but it's a lemon blueberry cookie.. I had to!! My entire family traveled from all over the country for my mothers 80th birthday celebration tonight at Coynes. I ordered a cake a month ago from Greg Marsh cakes, received the order confirmation as one would expect. We go to pick up the cake just now and apparently they "forgot" to make it, were unable to offer an explanation, and were not helpful whatsoever. I would have expected them to make one today since the celebration is later tonight, and I asked them to do this several times, including Greg himself, but they refused and told us to try other cake shops in the area to see if they could help us... SERIOUSLY?!? I'm quite speechless right now. So, Greg and staff, you should be ashamed of yourselves. What would I have done if this was my wedding day and you forgot to make my cake?!? So, if you are thinking of using Greg and his shop be warned that they might just simply not make your cake, then be super unhelpful in finding a solution... so terribly disappointed .. read more

In 2007 Marsh Designer Cakes made my dream wedding cake and I loved their work so much when my baby girl turned 1 this summer I had them do her baby smash cake. I sent over pictures of what I wanted, and asked if they could make mini matching cupcakes for my part guests. They blew me away with the outcome! It was SOOOOO cute!! Recently I hosted a class reunion and I decided to order a cake from Greg Marsh. Incidentally, I made the appointment in July which also happened to be on my birthday! My husband and I tasted several samples of cake and finally decided on the lemon poppyseed with lemon cream filling and the Italian Meringue icing. Greg created a beautiful sheet cake with a design of the school's emblem. Eighteen people enjoyed this cake and I think there were two small pieces left!
