I see his stories on insta and the cookies look amazing so of course...I had to stop in and get some
    Timothy C.

Ok ok ok! So by now, many of you know that when it comes to cookies....I will throw out any good eating habits for a good cookie! Especially when they are big, chunky, delicious cookies like Crumbl and Chip. Well! A few months back, there was an insta contest. I believe it was the usual "follow this account and tag 3 friends! The more tags, the more chances you get! Yaaaaay!" Hahaha! Someone tagged me in Greg's insta contest and as soon as I saw his big ass cookies I was like...."LEAVE ME ALONE! IM STARVIN!!!" (90s kids will get that reference hahaha!) as soon as I saw his cookies I was pushin bitches our the way!! Did I win?!?! Hell nah! Hahahaha! But from that day forward, I was following Greg's insta page. He always posts these amazing looking cakes, cupcakes and of course, cookies on his insta page and in his stories. So last week, I took my lil man to get his hair did (lil man is my dog, Frank lol)...on my way back from dropping him off, I FINALLY stopped into Greg Marsh Cakes....to purchase....cookies! I wanted a birthday cake one as well as the cookies n cream, but alas! Birthday cake was sold out. If it's as amazing as the cookies n cream, then I totally understand why it was sold out. I was just happy to finally try them. My dumb ass too didn't realize how incredibly close his shop is to my house. Had I bothered to look that up before...these cookies and then some would have been had a long ass time ago haha! Now that I know it's like a 5-6 minute drive from my abode, I can venture over whenever I want. I always try to limit the amount of sugary treats I take in, but yallllllll, when it comes to cookies....I basically DGAF hahaha! His cookies are amazing! If you like Crumbl and even Chip, then again, who doesn't, you'll love these. My friend tried one of his cereal cookies, fruity pebbles, I think? Anyway, a month ago, she and I went to Chip and she got that same cookie and she said without a doubt that Greg's was a 1000x better. Like the other shops, Greg's cookies are also $3 a piece. Not sure if he does the 4 cookies for $10 like Crumbl and Chip do. Something I'll need to ask him about. 2 weeks ago, at the gym, dude taps on my shoulder and asks if I'm a photographer. I was taken back for a second and then he mentioned me messaging him about a little plastic ginger baby he had on one of his cookies in his insta story. So I remembered of course messaging him about it because I needed that ginger baby! Hahaha! Too long of a story to put here. Yelp will cut me off, lol! Anyway, that was Greg! We work out at the same gym. So I've now spoken to him more than just the one time at his shop and I can honestly say that he is one incredibly nice person. Very genuine. After meeting him and seeing how nice he is and how fantastic his cookies are hahaha, I really cannot wait to try his cakes/cupcakes. Those are also two other things I'll throw a good diet out for. HELLO! CAKE! And CUPCAKES! who doesn't love them?! Especially cake! Hahaha! I'm such a heffa. His cakes are super nice. Very pretty cakes/cupcakes from the pics I've seen and from the displays I saw. I know I can tell you all to get your cakes there just based off on how tasty the cookies are, lol, I just know that I will definitely give him my business in the future. It's hard to find someone who can make beautiful cakes the way he makes his. Before I run out of room, I better end. I'm so glad to have finally gone to his shops and of course, SO happy to finally try them cookies! Haha! I'll definitely go back. Can't say much about cake prices because...yeah, I haven't had one...YET! when that happens, I will update tho! Thanks for reading, Yelpereeeeties! Cheers!

This was amazing, Greg Marsh Cakes knocked it out of the park. I could describe but the pics say it all. The cake tasted just as good as it looked. Wonderful work! Thank you

I genuinely have no idea how they produce so many baked goods out of such a tiny space. There's really no place to sit, so I think of this more as a pick-up-and-go Italian bakery rather than a café. They also do homemade cannolis (the pistachio and chocolate are both good), although my husband still gives the edge to Tony Cannoli's at Caffè Sorrento. I heard I completely missed out on their focaccia the day I went, which apparently is a mistake I need to correct immediately. I did try the croissants though, and honestly it's hard to find a truly good croissant around here without driving all the way to Janjou Pâtisserie -- and that place absolutely ruins you for croissants forever. One other thing worth noting: check their hours before you go because they're only open Thursday-Saturday. It's also a great little spot to grab packaged cookies or treats for gifts.

And VV is an amazing chef. But even better are the pastries! The cannoli's, the scones, the croissants, the lemon bread, the biscottis. I could go on and on. Best pastries I have ever had. Every thing we tasted was the best! And they have Italian coffee too! I can't wait to come back to this beautiful little shop which is decorated with an Italian theme. Biscotti jars and Italian pics. You have to stop by and see this place and try everything. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back to Idaho to buy some more items from them.

It has a very local, community feel that's getting harder to find. The coffee itself is fine -- not terrible, not "drive across town for it" amazing either. I usually just get the unlimited refill cup and drink from one of their mugs while I work for a bit. Where this place really shines is the baked goods and breakfast food. You can smell everything being made from their little kitchen, and it feels genuinely homemade in a way most coffee shops don't anymore. Their molasses cookies are somehow available year-round and I'm not exaggerating when I say if they're sold out, my day takes a turn. The quiche Lorraine is also legitimately excellent with a buttery crust, and they usually have a surprisingly good variety of gluten-free baked goods too. One thing I oddly appreciate: no music and no giant café chaos. Also no plugs, so this isn't the place to camp for 6 hours on a laptop. But if I need a quiet spot to answer emails or get 1-1.5 hours of work done without distraction, this is actually one of my favorite places to go.

My husband and I usually have brunch somewhere downtown on Sundays. We are having an early family…read moredinner tonight so we didn't want anything too filling. So, I suggested Eagle Coffee. I remember they have baked goodies that my husband would be interested in. He's doesn't like all the frilly stuff, just the good ol classics and Eagle Coffee has plenty of that! We came in around 12:30. It was pretty chill. A few guests outside enjoying the September weather and a couple guests inside. We checked out the food cases and found what we wanted. In my last review I had the keto quiche. It was a little overwhelming for me. The Mediterranean quiche was suggested so of course I had to try it. And it looked good in the food case. We were instantly greeted by a bunch a happy faces. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant for my husband. My Mediterranean quiche was ordered. I snagged a small iced cinnamon honey dirty chai with almond milk and a huckleberry lemonade for the husband. I believe everything we got is going to be so good! The ham and cheese croissant looked mighty tasty! It was nicely heated. You can tell it was nice and hot cause the ham and cheese was starting to slide out of the croissant. Husband smashed the whole thing and I wasn't even offered a bite. My quiche had beautiful pieces of zucchini and cheese on top. I really enjoyed the sun dried tomatoes in it. The filling was fluffy and soft. It was a great suggestion from the manager! I might have them heat it up just a hair longer next time, it could have been warmer. The huckleberry lemonade was killer!! It was tart, sweet and bubbly. I was only allowed one sip and I made sure it was big! My first round of chai did not look like normal and it didn't taste good. It was so dark and bitter. I did ask the barista if there was chai in my drink cause it didn't taste like chai. After we got it figured out, a new drink was made. My first one was not what I had ordered, I don't know what it was. My second round was almost perfect. The honey cinnamon chai was so good! It was sweet and spicy. I love the added cinnamon in there. It tastes like it should be cold and holiday season outside. I did pay for a shot of espresso to make it dirty which I never got. It was almost a cup of perfection. I really enjoyed our little coffee date here today. The food was good. Our drinks were tasty. The staff was nice. And it's conveniently down the road from us. I'm happy we stopped in today for our Sunday goodies. I look forward to another round of food and drinks from this joint.

They have a huge table that can seat multiple people which I thought was really cool. I ordered the chocolate croissant and the mocha. The croissant was chocolatey and warm. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys coffee and pastries for breakfast!

I'm so bummed it's seasonal and that they aren't closer to me so I can enjoy it more before it's gone. I did enjoy their breakfast burrito, it is a smidge expensive, but it's solid. My partner is a black coffee drinker and he likes their Fruit Snacks brew for drip, says it's one of the best black coffees he's found in a while. The ambiance is very relaxed, the swing chairs are such a unique idea (at least in my experience) and they give the shop a fun vibe. I kind of wish they were in just a little bit bigger location, the last time I went it was fairly full inside and it would be great if they had a few more spots for comfy reading chairs - I would love to grab some snacks, a couple of drinks, and spend an hour or two reading there. The difference of nearly $5 could be used to buy almost a dozen of "day old" bagels at Blue Sky. I liked the way Blue Sky Bagel sells their bagels the next day when they make too many. This is a very common practice with bagel shops across America. One has to wonder why Freedom Bagel Bakery didn't have some bags of "day old" bagels for sale during my visit. Could Freedom actually know exactly how many bagels to make? Because if they do, thousands of bagel shops across this country would love to know the secret. Hey, who can't eat a reheated, day old bagel? The cost is better and the taste is better than supermarket bagels, even the ones made in the market's bakery, like Albertson's.
