I've never been treated with such rudeness and outright hostility by a dental hygienist in my…read moreentire life. I showed up today at 12:29 for an appointment at 12:30. Immediately I was confronted by the hygienist who didn't ask me how I was doing or even greet me but immediately became confrontational and angry by telling me I was fifteen minutes late and she didn't think she could do my "entire" cleaning. I told her I was sorry and I thought my appointment was for 12:30. Her demeanor was angry, hostile and rude and made me feel uncomfortable. Instead of getting started on the cleaning she kept arguing with me and asked me hadn't I got the text message saying that my appointment was at 12:30 and I said I hadn't gotten any messages. She continued to be rude and confrontational and asked me if I wanted text messages and said that she would go into the system right now and make sure that I get added in to receive text messages while waiting her hands in the air. Her demeanor at that time was agitated, unfocused and angry. She got up to leave the room to have me"added" to the system for text messages then immediately abandoned that thought and did an about face and came back to her hygienists chair. I at that point told her I thought she was being rude and unprofessional and angry and that I wanted to cancel my appointment. When I complained to the front desk about the way I was treated the receptionist stuck up for the hygenist and said that the hygienist essentially was in the right for arguing with me about my appointment time and being rude. I said I wanted my money back for the night guard they made me on a prior appointment because I didn't think I would likely come back to that location. She would not process a refund at that time but did finally start to apologize (but was insincere) This same hygienist has twice refused to clean my teeth manually, has done an not so thorough job on my teeth and has denied my request not to use that automatic sonic teetch cleaner thing even when I told her it causes me pain. She is also not good at using it and has burned me more than once by her incompetence at using this standard peice of equipment. I didn't complain because I love doctor wheeler but today's visit combined with this hygienists past work on me was egregious

The staff is friendly and professional as well as accommodating. They understand people have busy schedules and try their best to work with you. I am one of those people that if I get bad customer service I will not return. Period. My son got his braces on and my insurance discontinued midway through so they put me on a reasonable payment plan and were extremely understanding. Because they did such a great job with my son, my husband became a patient here as well and he cannot say enough good things about the staff and dentists too.

While we have always appreciated Kami's exceptional care over the years, I must express my…read moredisappointment with the unprofessional conduct displayed by the front desk staff--specifically the receptionist, Mercie. I recently called to have my daughter added to the cancellation waitlist for a last-minute dental cleaning. Instead of being helpful, Mercie responded dismissively, making repeated comments like, "Ummmm, your daughter has quite a few cancellations," and referenced appointments from August of last year, May, and June. When I asked if she was unwilling to schedule my adult daughter, Mercie responded that she would need to ask the doctor. It's worth noting that Kami herself canceled an appointment in July, and during my daughter's most recent scheduled visit, Kami was unavailable, which required my daughter to make an additional trip to the office. My daughter works in the field as a contractor and lives in Anaheim. Her schedule does not follow a traditional 8-5 structure, which is exactly why I was trying to assist by being flexible and offering to take a last-minute appointment on her behalf. Our family--eight of us--have been loyal patients for over a decade. Unfortunately, this experience has left us feeling undervalued and frustrated. At this point, it feels like the final straw.
