Went in on a Wednesday needed items by Friday. I was understanding if it couldn't be done since I was going so last minute but the lady there helped me out . She was super sweet and hemmed my dress exactly how I wanted and dry cleaned my son's baptism outfit . She had the items ready next day on Thursday !! I was shocked but thankful. She was so sweet once I picked up and said to always be by my son's side and everything will be ok. I don't remember asking for her name but I'm sure shes the one that runs and does everything. I found this place on Yelp and once again, I was not disappointed!! I came here to get a silk dress tailored and Suzi greeted me with a smile and suggested some alterations to make the dress fit better and got it pinned up right away. The dress fit way better after the tailor (I didn't get her name!) took the shoulders/neck up and added a button - AND it was very reasonably priced at $20. The tailor was able to handle the tricky fabric well and I don't think anyone could tell the dress was tailored! I got lots of compliments. Tailoring is the way to go! It's located in a tiny strip mall next to a 7-11 with a small parking lot. I find it easier to enter the gas station on Colfax and drive in through there if I'm headed west on Burbank. I will definitely be back for more clothing alterations and maybe even dry cleaning since they do that too! Highly recommend!! read more

Spot Cleaners is absolutely fantastic! I had a slightly unusual request for alteration of a bedding item. Their initial quote was very reasonable and certainly much less expensive than what other shops quoted me. Their first attempt at what I requested fell short a little, but they were beyond gracious in their willingness to meet my expectations. In fact, they were insistent that they complete the job ASAP. I even told them that there was no rush, but they insisted. The second time was perfect. The owners (who were as nice as nice gets) seem to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied. I certainly left feel pleased with my expensive. For my last visit, I brought in my wedding dress for dry cleaning, as well as another special occasion dress. The quote they gave me for the wedding dress was reasonable/competitive within the market. Both items were cleaned within one week, and I received a text update when they were ready for pick up. Both items were cleaned of any visible stains/marks. Went hunting for a place that does great alterations at a reasonable price. Look no further! I talked to 6 different places and got quotes of up to $85 at some places which is almost double the price of my dress, along with weeks for turnaround time before I decided to come to The Spot Cleaners. The Spot Cleaners is in a plaza next a corner gas station off the freeway. Parking is a little difficult in the plaza but I eventually found a spot each visit and for the service I received here, it's def worth it to stop by! When I went in, Suzi came to the front to greet me. I showed her my strapless David's Bridal bridesmaid chiffon dress and asked her for possible quote for hemming it to make it shorter, and one for taking it in on the sides. I was so surprised when she gave me the quotes since they were so reasonable. For two layers chiffon dress she quoted me $40. And to take in the sides it would be around $20-25 (can't remember exactly). Suzi said to get a better idea of what to do with the dress, it would be helpful to try on the dress. So I recommend you come with your item and your shoes if you're a bridesmaid hemming a dress! She has a curtained area so you can change in, and a large full size mirror on the wall. After trying on the dress, she said I didn't need to take it in on the sides if I felt like it wasn't going to fall off, but it was up to me. And she pinned the bottom for hemming after I put on heels. I walked around the shop to make sure I wasn't stepping on the dress. Suzi took her time to repin the hemming until I was okay with the length. In addition, she noticed that I had a hook missing from the back and she stitched one on for me without charging me. I loved how honest she is and so great in customer service. I felt comfortable in the store, and was at ease since Suzi was so friendly so I dropped my dress off. Also, turnaround time was amazing. She quoted me possible 3-4 days to finish hemming, but she sent me a message saying she was done like 2-3 days after I dropped it off. Quality was also great. She had me try the dress on to make sure it fits, and she said she would edit it if it wasn't to my liking. But the dress fit amazing! Hem work was great. I actually wasn't able to end up using their services this time, as I had a vintage velvet coat that had been ruined at a dry cleaners with a chemical that had bleached the fabric, so no cleaning process was going to fix it. But Tat (I'm hoping that's the right spelling. Sorry if it isn't!) was absolutely one of the best customer service representatives for a small business I've ever interacted with. She answered my phone call, spent nearly 10 minutes on the phone with me going through various options, and had me send her a video and pictures of the spots so that she could communicate with her cleaning team to find out whether or not it would even be possible to fix. The amount of effort she went through for me without payment was truly incredible and greatly appreciated. I'll definitely be coming by next time. read more

First of all, I'm surprised I didn't find The Spot Cleaners sooner because they are literally down the street from me! Suzi, the owner of the business is SO incredibly sweet. I remember in the midst of being a Bridezilla, I was getting really anxious because I needed alterations done right away for our engagement shoot, but found out from other shops that it takes a few days at the earliest to get things altered. Being so busy, I didn't have a few days to wait and I expressed all of this to Suzi who was like, "Calm down, girl! I got this!" I was happy to hear that Suzi was able to accommodate to my time frame. The morning of our engagement, my fiance (now husband) found out there was a small tear in his new shirt that he had just bought for the photoshoot. Panicked again (lol), I reached out to Suzi who was nice enough to get that sewn for him in a matter of minutes. I visited The Spot Cleaners again a few weeks later because I needed my qipao (Chinese dress) altered badly because when I bought it a few months prior, I was not at my goal weight. After losing 12 lbs I came back to Suzi and her seamstress was able to pin me up and I could already tell my dress was going to look fantastic. When it was time to pick up my dress, I tried it on and it was SO beautiful I almost cried! They got rid of the extra fabric on the sides that made me look bulky, which in turn really slimmed me down (with a waistline!). We've been married for almost 3 months now and we have been going to Suzi ever since for dry cleaning and other alterations. I actually have 2 coats I just bought I am thinking of getting altered! After coming here for about 4 months now, and got three alterations done that came out very well so i decided to bring my Ted Baker suit jacket here to see what the seamstress would recommend me on this fit. I'm a tall man so the length of the jacket and sleeves length as well were fitting me great the seamstress said, but the body was boxy and it wasn't slim fit like the modern style.
