Fuel Line not replaced- Debris now clogging carbs
    Frank H.

A friend spent $3,000 at Greg's Cycles on a 1995 Suzuki Intruder (a project to help his son), the son move out of state and I was asked to get the bike running and sell it. Among lots of work, Greg's listed on invoices, carbs removed, rebuilt, re-installed, labor including installing new fuel lines. There also was a line item for fuel line, $8. The bike wouldn't start. I checked, no fuel getting to the carbs. I pulled the fuel lines to the carbs, fuel pump dumped tons of rubber gunk into my tupperware (see photo). Fuel lines were not replaced, 28 year old fuel line. Rubber gunk clogging carburetor entry, now needing carbs pulled and cleaned. Sold the bike as a not running project, rather than re-do that work. I wrote Greg personally, asked him to at least refund a small labor portion to the customer. He lied to me and said the invoice for gas line replacement (along with carb rebuilding, of course they should be replaced at 28 years old) and the line item charging for the fuel line, "was a typo". He wouldn't budge, and wouldn't apologize, that is the size up of integrity, with Greg, Greg's Cycles.

Greg's Custom Cycle Works had taken care of my bikes since 2003. They serviced and repaired them, and they customized them too. Over the years, I brought them a MuZ Baghira (German supermotard), a Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe, a Honda Goldwing, and a second Yamaha RSTD. Apart from the service on these bikes, the shop did a couple of beautiful paint jobs on the Baghira and the Yam RSTD. They worked on the motor of my first RSTD (injection and ignition), fixed a really bad ding in the tank and repaired the right-side cowler of the second RSTD. All in record time, with top-notch quality workmanship, for a price that was really affordable. Highly recommended.

I brought in a new Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled with a special exhaust from Italy that needed a new bracket fabricated keeping the visible welds maintaining the high end Italian welds. Greg and his artisans did an amazing job! I also had them pipe wrap the exhaust to cut down the heat, and the wrap looked perfect! Not only was a job well done, but it was a quick turnaround and he even kept the shop opened late for me to pickup. Thanks for the great service and quality.

Buyer Beware West…read moreCoast Powersports sold me a ski that doesn't even float! They wouldn't let me water test it, assured me if I had issues that they stand behind their products. Their exact words "were not some dirt lot company". Guess what? They lie straight to your face. I purchased a 2019 Ultra 310 with only 12 hours. I put $7500 down, paid all their BS dealer fees, taxes and prep fees, then immediately paid another $1000 towards the remainder balance of $6800. I ran the ski in a no wake zone for 1.5 hours the first day I purchased it. Unfortunately, we had bad weather that week so I couldn't comfortably take it out in the gulf. The second day I put another 1.5 hours on it in the same no wake zone. The third day was nice weather so I finally took it out for a real ride. Loaded the lady and myself and we went under the skyway bridge. On the way back I finally gave it full throttle for the first time. It immediately started having a bad vibration and I turned around to limp it back to the dock. On the way back it started sinking!! I barely managed to beach it on a sandbar and had to call SeaTow for a rescue. At this point I've put 4 hours of ride time on the ski! I brought the ski to the Jet ski repair shop hoping it would be something minor. They took the intake apart and verified it had water in the motor. I had them button it back up and immediately took it back to west coast powersports. Guess what they said? "There's no water in the oil" and the ski is in good shape, that maybe I left the plugs out or didn't flush it properly. I told them I have video proof of water in the oil and they need to service it and find the leak. They said they would send it off to a specialist that would repair it. A week later I pick up the ski and take it straight to the dock. Not to my surprise, it started sinking immediately. I took it straight back and they sent it back to their "specialist". A few days later they call me saying they'll get me into a brand new ski. Sounds good right? Well, they ran my credit without my authorization for a ski I didn't even want. Then they tried to roll over the $5800 negative equity into their new ski. Plus, they wanted to charge me another $2k in taxes and dealer fees on top, essentially meaning I'm out almost $10k within a week, and paying almost $27k for a ski they have listed for $15,600. The audacity of them to think someone would do this is absurd. Also, they have the ski listed on their website for $15,600 but they tried selling it to me $1000 more with a 7% interest. I declined the offer and at that time they stated that I damaged my ski after the purchase. Turns out the entire intake plate was half ass siliconed on. They literally said I caused the damage, tried to repair it, then brought it back to them! I went back to West Coast Powersports today to pick up the ski, I raised hell, I asked for the service report from their "specialist" and they refused. They called the cops and trespassed me from their property. Leaving me with a $14k ski that doesn't float and has water in the motor. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Don't support businesses like this!
