0 stars ! Everything they did was illegal! Towed 3 cars with NO authority from private property. They are NOT legally allowed to tow any car without following proper procedure with authorization only by Owner of car, Police, car dealer or owner/manager of building /apartment complex. On private property (ie. apt building) the Law requires a 72 hr notice placed on car dated and signed by owner/ building manager giving the car owner chance to move. If not removed the property owner/manager must fill out an authorization to tow form including date, time and their name address and signature to request & authorize the tow! They need to be onsite to hand said form to tow company before they can tow. Before tow company can touch your car they must take time stamped photos documenting where your car was parked, also documenting the 72 hr warning notice was affixed and the condition of your car. NONE OF THAT WAS DONE! The also overcharged every fee by hundreds and added an unallowed 'DISPATCH' fee of $50. There are set fees that they cannot exceed! Please check with Gresham regulations and fee schedules online! They are legally required to have an office per state regulations and DON'T! They are legally required to have all paperwork /photos and authorization prior to tow and produce it all to YOU and retain those records for 2-3 years! If this happened/s to you please report them thru city manager, there is a process. Don't let this keep happening to fellow residents. read more

Zero stars. Imagine waking up to go to work to make a living and your vehicle is gone. Imagine parking for a minute with flashers on and you come outside and your vehicle is gone. Open 24 hours is BS. The same tow driver will show up to my apartment complex and take cars that are parked with emergency flashers on, driving away with dollar signs in his eyes--$175 a tow plus mileage is extra. Who tows a car with emergency flashers on? This happened right in front of me. They will r*pe you with a "gate fee after hour" charge of $100 plus despite advertising being open 24-hours a day. Just for having my friend's vehicle for not even an hour, almost $400 in the hole. When asking for a receipt with a breakdown of the charges that totaled up to almost $400, it was very vague. BS company. Beware. He sits and waits to tow cars at my complex--I saw him towing several in one day! There is no office, so upon retrieving your vehicle, you have to wait by a gate for this guy to arrive. My friend had to wait almost an hour after "dispatch" (charge to talk to dispatch too, the same woman every time--$50 charge) said it would only be 10 minutes but it was almost an hour. They are swindlers. The lady from dispatch told us the price would be $347, then she changed it to $402. None of the prices made any sense, and it kept changing! Beware. read more

I had to abandon my car on 223rd Wednesday evening when it got stuck in the road along with many other cars during the snowstorm. The roads were too icy to get my car on Thursday so I called them on Friday when the roads were still icy and explained the situation. I explained that I could get my car tomorrow (Saturday) and ask if there would be an additional storage charge. The woman was sympathetic and told me they would work with me on storage fees due to the weather. I went in the next day like I said I would and they were closed. I called them number on the sign, and they told me that they are closed on weekends, even though it says online AND on their sign that they are open 24/7. The woman said that is only for towing. I confirm again that I will not be charged for all the storage fees due to the weather. I got to the tow yard Monday morning at 9am, when they supposedly open. It is closed. I call and the woman tells me that the person is out on a tow and won't be back for a while. Apparently only one person works the whole yard, towing and releasing cars. There are two other people waiting out front. As I am waiting, one of the people told me how they tried to pick up their car on Friday and nobody was here even though they said they would be. They finally get back in half an hour. When I check out my car, my charge is $435. I explained how the woman on the phone told me they would work with me on the days due to the weather and the man behind the counter refused. This place is extorting people. Price was insane but honestly what tow company isnt. If you have anything of value in the vehicle they're going to take it. Had a milwaukee M18 tire inflator in my trunk that was no longer there when I went to grab stuff from the car before insurance hauled it to a shop. read more

I've never had an issue with this company. Always quick and my go to for our family... Untill last night. I was driving home and met a truck on HWY 2y headed towards Gresham. The truck very closely cut me off and then sped off. The driver also switched between lanes to get around people. Now i understand if they were responding to an accident or somthing, but the driver could have easily caused a few. For a big truck, from a big company, I would not want my driver making people on the road feel unsafe. Especially with the name of my company all over that truck. Will not be using this company anymore. read more

My car is a brand new and just a few months old. Nothing was wrong with it until these people got their hands on it. They are not very experienced and hooked up the car in the wrong places which bent parts of my brand new car and ultimately caused further damage. We got a flat on our way to a hike in the Gorge over the weekend. After putting on the spare, we realized it wasn't going to get us back to town. Our insurance called Gresham Towing and we were really worried they wouldn't get us to the tire shop by the time they closed. But, they found us very quickly, loaded the car up without a problem, and were able to get us to repair the tire with extra time to spare. My girlfriend and I were really surprised by their friendliness, speed, and professionalism. If I ever need a tow in the area, I will not hesitate to call them! read more

We had a vehicle towed here by Gresham police after a traffic accident and it was a nightmare to say the least. Not only did items that were in the car during the accident come up missing, they told us we needed to return items we took from the car right away. Um, no. When it came time to deal with the insurance, they didn't answer their phones or sent them to a fax machine. Geico will not be using this company any more after all they went through and neither will we. read more
