But our body shop told us they have after hours drop off and that's what we wanted to do and the driver refused and left us stranded. I found Zee's towing on craigslist and have them a call as I was desperate and he gave me a very reasonable rate and showed up in less than 30 minutes. He took me to my body shop where we dropped off our car no problem. This is an awesome small towing company with great character and integrity. 10/10 would recommend. Sure, thats because there was exactly one employee in the trailer and was already juggling a phone that basically never stopped ringing. She did apologize for the wait, probably because I very visibly was waiting patiently and not being a dick about it. Once she was able to get me processed I was in and out super quick. Was it expensive? Yeah...yeah it was. But place that annoyance on the city, they are the ones that can set into law what amount towers can charge. I was also a police tow (apparently I can't read signs, def my bad) and not private lot/owner tow.

The court can effect service but when it comes to making good on their obligations they disappear. Those not in the know: unlawful conversion is an overly formal way of saying theft. They'll argue with me in email trying to rehash a case that was decided against them meaning they know they're legally liable to compensate me for my vehicle but accountability appears to be a foreign concept for this company. Needed a simple jump start for a dead battery. Called and requested service. "I know right where…read moreyou are. I can be there is 15 minutes." The price was acceptable. Gave them the address and after 30 minutes texted very specific directions. After 2-3 phone calls back and forth and a few texts, after trying to wave down the driver before he turned the wrong way in our condominium complex, I get a call saying "...we're not coming...he can't find the place...I have another customer to help...". I was looking right at his truck driving around the complex, waving and waving to get his attention! He gave up and left before calling me to say he wasn't coming. So much for professionalism. So much for courtesy. So much for follow through. What a business model!
