I came to this location because I had some Hallmark coupons I wanted to use before they expired. I was looking around at all their Christmas ornaments. I'm a real Hallmark fan, you name it programming check, ornaments check, cards, check! After perusing their Christmas decor, I made my way back to the cards section. I had a promotion for a free just because card and went to the staff to see where that section was. The lady directed me to those cards. I have been a customer of Hallmark for over 45 years. I purchased Christmas boxed cards online. I tried to return them to the store which was 45 minutes from my home. The reason I ordered online was not to make the trip to the store. Well, it backfired at me. They would NOT take cards back since they were ordered online. The manager, Faith H would not even come out the back room to talk to me at store #300 on 13820 Old St. Augustine Road, Jax, FL 32258. Customer service she was NOT. The salesperson when asked for her name, did not know it. THIS IS HOW A TRUE CUSTOMER IS TREATED. Sorry, not acceptable in anyone's book. I lost all respect for HALLMARK. Maybe your managers should be vetted and explain how I could return the items online. The person online was wonderful. read more

I was here just before my wedding anniversary on Janaury 5th. I'm so sorry for the late review. I think I was being racially profiled while I was in the store. I went to buy anniversary cards for my 16th wedding anniversary. I was in the store for a while wearing a Sean John jump suit. This jumpsuit would not be sold or brought in Florida unless it was cold. It was Cole on the day I went to Hallmark. The anniversary cards were in the back, so I like to read them. Also, I wanted to pick up an odd and end since they sell more than cards. I was looking to the front and the back and noticed the cashier eyeballing me and coming to the section where I was looking. Am I a victim of racial profiling. I hope not with card and earrings in toe, I proceeded to the cashier register and paid for my merchandise. I am not a thief and would not steal a card and some earrings for under $25. read more

3 stars for a large clean store, I love hallmark stores and I am always excited when I find a new one. This one has so much items and it's the largest I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. One side has the regular hallmark items and then there is an additional area, almost like a separate store and they have really cute jewelry and purses amongst other things, the main reason I gave it 3 stars is because the card section I was at was all discombobulated, I was looking for birthday cards under the for him section and they just had them mixed up, I know sometimes people pick one up and put it down on the wrong spot but ALL of them I picked up did not match the tittle on the dividers and I picked up a good amount. I really like this hallmark store. I like that it is free standing so it's easy to run in and out especially on a lunch break. They have a lot more than cards with a huge assortment of gifts and gift ideas. The store is a great size and is very clean. The device is always great and the associates are warm and welcoming. read more

I will not buy another thing from this store. I just tried to return something I bought from Gretchen's and was not able to. I had the receipt and was not allowed to return the item because it was Christmas themed. It's 2021, I have the receipt. I should be able to return what I want. read more

07.08.2018 first time there. Maddy needed special cards and they had them all kinds of interesting stuff there. Took a few pictures. Fingers crossed on these. Just kept walking around and snapping away. Very interesting. read more

HORIIBLE! The staff is RUDE, NASTY and down right UGLY to patrons. I have shopped in this store for 11 years and this Christmas went in with my 10 year old daughter and who was HORRIBLY mistreated by the staff. I called corporate to make a complaint and asked for this store owner for an apology for the treatment my child and I received...I expect I will be waiting for an eternity for that to ever happen. We will never step foot in this store EVER AGAIN! read more

On Sunday May 19, 2019 I purchased 2 Habersham wax pottery bowls from this store. $27.99 each. I soon discovered there was no scent coming from these pottery bowls. One was Sage and the other was Lavender. I, like most, threw away the boxes. Today I brought the pottery bowls back. I didn't want my money back, I only wanted replacements that would make our apartment smell as wonderful as our friend's apartment who had the same pottery bowls. The employee went back and spoke with the manager. The employee came back - not the manager - and told me without the original boxes they couldn't put the pottery bowls back out for purchase. Now really, what establishment would put back for purchase items that were defective? I am out a lot of money with defective merchandise. I did contact the manufacturer and was advised they are retail only, and our argument is with Hallmark. Be warned about this store. Absolutely no customer service. Mary Ann Wetzel read more

I love Hallmark and I love that there's a Hallmark store close to home. Great selection of cards for all occasions and good selection of gift wrapping supplies. I'll stock up on wrapping paper when they have BOGO or BOGOHO sales. The ladies that work at this store all greet you when you come in and are super friendly and helpful. read more

Store staff seems rather disorganized. But that being said. There are hardly any Hallmark stores around anymore so this is adequate.

I wrote my entire experience but it was 3 pages single spaced so there is not enough space to post it. Cliff-notes version: It took four stores to find a store that would exchange a "Gretchen's Hallmark/Lucy's Boutique" purchase of two Pandora bracelets. This location did exchange them for me but the representative had issues performing my exchange (which is important now). The bracelets BOTH have clasp issues. Pandora will exchange them and possibly replace both lost charms. I am an idiot and did not keep receipt. Even with the day of purchase from credit card receipts, "Gretchen's Hallmark" can not provide me with a copy of my receipts probably because they need an exact amount, date and time (which is not when they charge the credit card) and I can't remember exact date and time. Now I am left with two faulty bracelets and a total of 4 charms (2 of them got lost when clasp malfunctioned, once on each bracelet) that cannot be worn. I am dissapointed that a large corporation like Hallmark has an archaic point of sale (POS) system. Am I the only one that just cannot keep up with every receipt that I receive everyday of my life? Moral of this story: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE UNLESS YOU PLAN ON KEEPING THE RECEIPT FOREVER! The Store Manager and the Operations Manager of the Bartram Park location are nice but the Fruit Cove location could use some better customer service. I know this isn't their issue but if they are going to sell expensive jewelry, I feel that they should have some way of tracking receipts. What happens if they need to be audited? The "Hallmark Rewards" program won't help because it doesn't track purchases. Hope this is helpful to someone. I would have liked to have known this prior to shopping here because I know I can't keep a receipt unless it is emailed to me or kept in my personal account for that company. I was in this store on Thurs. 5/25. I went to the register and a customer was being rung out. I waited, waited, waited patiently. I was the only person in line waiting. There was a display of "spinners" at the register. I looked at them and picked up 2. In the meantime 2 other people got in line, I was still first in line. Waiting, waiting for the slow person at the register. Finally my turn, and the clerk said "ARE YOU NEXT?" as if to accuse me that I was not. Not only is she unaware of her surroundings, she was rude to do this to me, after by long wait. THEN she said if I wanted to buy the spinners, she had to take them out of the box to make sure they were working. Being in a hurry, and already having waited too long, and being more aware than her that there were 2 other people in line - I said SKIP IT, I don't want them. How dumb is this store?? They make you wait, then accuse you of NOT being next in line, when clearly I was there ALONE for 5 minutes, then their dumb policy to have to open and test spinners, and make other people WAIT. Geez Louise, I hope the owner reads this! read more
