    Bus stop 29 for Greyhound
    Frances K.

To get to the Greyhound bus stop, take the escalators down and then take the escalator up to Bus stop 29 I recommend purchasing your ticket online before hand. I did it via their Greyhound app The reason for 3 stars is because I had a hard time figuring out where the Greyhound bus would be located. After asking 3 people, I finally was pointed to go to bus stop 29

The Skinny: With all the construction, the station is actually well organized. The Fat: I wish they had better shade and more benches. If there's a lot of people waiting for a bus, you might have to stand in the sun or just stand, period. This is THE connection station for the West San Gabriel Valley! I will rate this place again when I get to use the new facilities. TIP: DO NOT JAY WALK. USE CROSSINGS! The Sheriffs are usually stationed right in the corner and will drive around the station. I've seen 2 people ticketed already. You might catch the bus, but why pay a hundred+ dollars for a bus trip?!

This was a new little customer service center for the Metro Express Lanes. I was able to get help immediately even when it was after 5pm. I am glad they were able to help me with my issues on the transponder placing.

I used Greyhound/Busfreighter shipping to facilitate a coast-to-coast move. In short, I do not recommend this service if you want your items to be received on the other side at all. First, it took a month for the boxes to arrive. Out of 5 boxes, 3 were obviously tampered with, with cuts made with knives on the sides and missing items galore. Other items were haphazardly rearranged between boxes and it was obvious that boxes were searched for items of higher value. I have never had a similar experience with any other shipment method. In total, whoever opened the boxes to steal items did a pretty good job identifying higher value items with a total loss in the thousands. Do not recommend in the slightest.

ZERO STARS if possible. This review is extremely thorough and detailed because I am hoping someone will contact me to discuss this matter. I have called several times and left detailed voice messages and no one seems to call back. I have sent various emails and when I tried contacting BBB, guess what, this company is not even a BBB company! No surprise. Being that it was my first time ever traveling with Greyhound, I must say that it was far from what I had initially expected. We took a bus from the El Monte station to Texas because it was our only option of travel due to work and other commitments. Purchasing tickets was no big deal; I booked them about two weeks in advance online, printed them out, and picked them up at the station prior to our travel date. When we arrived, to the station on the morning of out departure, check in was fast and easy. However, when the bus arrived, it was packed! My boyfriend and I were split, riders were taking up empty seats with luggage, and no one was of any help. There needs to be a better system in place that will ensure all riders are safe and have a seat BEFORE driving along. The bus driver literally came right back in knowing that we were still looking for empty seats, and drove off while we were still standing! No warning or anything! The AC was extremely low for a 110 degree day. It was very hot! Despite the minor dilemmas, which I completely understand and would not complain otherwise, our disastrous travel had not even started yet. A few hours into our trip (about 3) in Blythe, California, our bus breaks down in the middle of no where, with no AC, no water, no nothing in 113 degree weather!! Since I had sat in the front, I could hear the bus driver cursing and using profanity (NOT professional at all). People started getting out of the bus and standing around trying to capture some shade under thin stems and branches. The driver told us he called for another bus and did not have an estimate of time as to when they will arrive. We had a funeral to attend and we're depending on making every connection and stop in time! Of course this set us back a few hours and when a bus finally arrived, they only had room for 15 passengers! Luckily we got a seat and were on our way; however, when we arrived in El Paso, they almost did not let us back on the bus because even though we had our re-board passes, we did not have the original ticket because the driver of the first bus took it before it broke down! The employees were all unorganized, unprofessional, rude, and useless. It was about 3am and the station was packed with people. With only one person working bother the lines and the desk, it was impossible to get any assistance. The bus, which we were suppose to re-board with our re-board passes, had all out luggage and belongings, yet they told is we could not get on because we needed a new ticket! Again, we waited several hours before anyone could help. As a result, we missed our last connecting bus to Marfa, Texas. In addition to that, the new bus we finally boarded also broke down TWO times! The AC, once again, did not work in this bus as well. It was horrible!!!!!! We had a funeral to get to and your company ruined such a tragic time in our lives. This review is only telling our travel to texas and not back. Our travel back was just as bad, if not worse, than getting there! The driver was late to our connecting bus and we missed it. Had to stay an additional 7 hours waiting for the next bus to come around in the middle of nowhere!!! I WILL NEVER RIDE A GREYHOUND BUS EVER AGAIN. And, I WILL make sure my family and friends do not either.

My sister recently used Executive Line Bus, which advertises transportation from Baldwin Park to the TJ airport area. I dropped her off in Baldwin Park and everything seemed normal at that point, but what happened on the return trip from Tijuana is something that, in my opinion, needs to be investigated. According to the schedule, my sister was supposed to be picked up in TJ at 8:00 in the morning. She arrived at the pickup location on time and waited. And waited. And waited. The problem was not just the delay. The problem was the complete lack of communication. No updates, no clear explanation, no sense of urgency for someone who was essentially waiting to get into a stranger's vehicle in another country. That feeling alone is incredibly stressful and honestly unsafe. When you are relying on transportation like this, especially crossing borders, timing and communication are everything. Instead of leaving at 8:00 AM as planned, my sister did not actually leave until around 11:00 AM. That is a three hour delay with no proper coordination. Imagine if she had a flight to catch. That would have turned into a complete disaster. What made the situation even worse was the response from the company representative, Yessenia. Instead of acknowledging the frustration or taking responsibility for the situation, my sister was told she had to pay another $10 just to get on the later 11:00 ride back to Los Angeles. At that point it wasn't even about the money. It was the principle. When a company causes a delay and a customer is stranded waiting, the last thing that should happen is charging them extra just to get home. The entire experience felt careless and honestly alarming. When people are traveling between cities and countries, reliability and safety should be the priority, not squeezing a few more dollars out of someone who is already stuck. This situation left us feeling uneasy and unsafe, and I truly believe this service needs better accountability and communication before more people end up in the same situation.

They did put me on the next bus an hour later. But because the bus left earlier than departure time it ruined my entire plans and day it made me miss my train therefore I had to buy another ticket so not only did they waste my time, but they also made me waste more money. Customer service told me the issue was resolved by putting me on the next bus. But it didn't resolve the fact that I lost out on money and time. How could the bus leave before departure time knowing that not everyone was on the bus it is unprofessional and unfair to the customer. I will never be using this bus company again and I wouldn't recommend it.

We had a "complicated" trip with about 160 passengers and multiple stops/destinations. Biggest issues: 1. They wouldn't let us adjust the pick up times even though we had the buses rented the entire day. We had to book a separate company for drop off for 2 of our buses. 2. They were late to the original pick up time!! (It worked out that we could send 1 bus later.) This was a performance-based trip so we almost missed our performance. 3. One of the buses just left while we were there, we still had another stop to get to but they "had to do their routes." This caused a group of students and a parent to get stranded in the hot sun for about 2 hours. Parents and principals complained. 4. Because of the bus leaving, we had to cram 130 people on 2 buses to get to our last stop, including having to send a group of chaperones in an uber because they couldn't fit on the buses. 5. Again because of double booking, even though the drivers were kind to us, they were frustrated because they were late to their routes. I have never had a bus company be so hard on times, and not flexible at all when things were running behind.
