-0 stars actually! Greyhound bus services in Houston were outrageously bad. Shocking in fact. Terminal was shut down. Nobody including police knew where the station was. We finally found A station that we could buy tickets from but was told we couldn't catch bus there. We were directed to go to an address that turned out to be a parking lot with NO services (not even a bench seat let alone toilet facilities) where homeless and addicts were sleeping/hanging out. The bus NEVER showed up after waiting from 1pm to 7pm asking every bus that came through only to be told it wasn't the right one. We weren't alone...there were 10 of us stranded in a carpark after dark with the homeless and addicts. We were 3 older ladies and felt very unsafe! Nobody cared. We phoned multiple times without assistance from anyone! When we were finally told we would have to wait till 12.30am (after being given clearly false/lying reasons), we had all given up and left. On complaining, staff were not only unhelpful but arrogant and rude. NO refund was offered! We lost nearly $1000 because the bus didn't show up, in bookings plus our fares paid, quite apart from agro received, danger left in or no service received. Bus drivers were even angry we asked, and were quite aggressive. Don't EVER trust Greyhound buses Houston! read more

I walked into the entrance and was immediately directed to have my bags searched. I was made to empty my pockets. As if I am not familiar with every rule and policy of this bus line, I was completely unaware that I wasn't allowed to have a vape pen. It was nothing special, just a simple disposable vape pen. The lady that searched me confiscated my property and when I asked the front desk for a solution to getting my property back, they offered none. I paid good money for this ticket, not to have a greyhound employee take my personal belongings as if this were some sort of prison setting where they can do whatever they want. I was disrespected and the principle of the entire idea of confiscating property that is not illegal is completely out of line. I am asking for a refund. read more

I will never be using greyhound again. My bus got to the station late and the bus I was supposed to get on left early so i had to buy a new ticket. Then they said I had to wait outside because the ticket had been bought in Houston. Absolutely awful experience and all of the workers there were extremely rude. I dont like this place its annoying with all the panhandling and homeless people sleeping about. There isnt a dedicated passenger pick up area. My mom hates driving so she travels via the bus when she visits and she says they should pay attention to bookings and realize they need more buses on the New Orleans to Houston route because it is always packed to capacity and the luggage rates suck and crowded busses stink and are uncomfortable, she is considering flying in or using the Mega Bus service next visit. Hey Greyhound you are getting too much business to not make it easier to pick up passengers and for them to feel safe and not approached by panhandlers right at your doors and or need to walk over sleeping homeless people around your building. Pay attention to sells especially during peek times (holiday, summer, graduations) and make better accommodations for passenger comfort. Here's my experience. I needed to go from Houston to Gainesville, GA. I really didn't want to hassle with the airports. Amtrak was pretty expensive, so that was out. My only other real option was Greyhound. I purchased my ticket on line. The fare was . . . fair, so no problems there. Check-in was super easy and despite all the negative comments about customer service at this terminal, I found everyone friendly and helpful. As for homeless panhandlers outside, yes, there are quite a few. But, it's downtown Houston and we have a not so small homeless problem. I really see it as no different than walking through the typical suburban mall and getting a accosted by every small kiosk vendor. Everyone's trying to get their next meal or get their bus fare to where they believe the grass is greener. I was approached by exactly 3 people on my way in. All three were friendly and polite and I never felt threatened. I did not encounter any one INSIDE the terminal asking for anything. Greyhound really can't be held responsible for what goes on on the public sidewalk and street I don't think. I'm not a lawyer, so read that last statement as you may. So, as far as the service at this terminal, I found it good. There was a gate change for bus loading and it was handled smoothly and efficiently by the customer service man. My bus left on time. This bus was pretty empty upon departure, so I had a seat to myself as did most others. The power receptacle at my seat worked fine. The WiFi, when I checked it (and I turned off cellular data to ensure I was using the WiFi) was good. I would consider Greyhound again in the future when the need arises and I really have no problems with the terminal here. read more

Upon arrival I showed my tickets and was told the bus had yet to arrive There was no announcement to let anyone know when the busses have arrived or left there was nor was there anyone in visible sight we could go to ask question which made it even harder to find out what was going on. So, let me just preface this by saying that I downloaded Yelp specifically for the purpose of complaining about Greyhound, because I felt that I might literally explode if I didn't somehow voice my opinion about my awful experience with this bus company. (I went from Lubbock, TX to Houston, TX, by the way) Before anything, though, there were positive aspects of my trip, which is what compelled me to give 2 stars instead of 1 (or 0). The actual bus rides themselves weren't bad. I was comfortable enough to sleep and read, and the temperature was kept at a nice level. There were outlets on the walls so I could keep my phone charged. The ride was smooth. The buses weren't the most luxurious, but who goes on a bus for luxury? I mean, for $160, it got me from one place to another and that was all I needed, so it is in this sense that Greyhound fulfills its purpose and it is now in other senses that Greyhound has forever waged a war with me. I transferred once in my trip from Lubbock to Houston (aside from when I first got to the terminal in Lubbock), and both times that I was there in the station, my bus was more than an hour late. And that was fine, I'm willing to give leeway because it had rained and you can't drive as fast in the rain, but how is it possible for not just one bus to be late, but 6 other buses? I watched 6 lines of people form, hounded by the same rude ass security guard (who is part of another issue with Greyhound) to get their tickets out and get ready for the bus, and watched them have to wait, like me, 45+ minutes for a bus that seemingly would never arrive. And I was lucky. My bus actually got there. Some buses don't even arrive, and then these 30+ people who were scheduled to go on the bus now have to go to the ticket agents and buy another ticket because their bus driver is either nowhere to be found or their bus has disappeared off the face of the Earth. And this wouldn't be so bad, y'know, if literally every employee in the station hadn't completely lost their will to live and now appear to seethe hatred for humanity in every step they take. I mean, it takes a lot for me to notice or care or feel the need to complain, but these people took not giving a shit about their job to the next level, and then decided to go for the world record of not giving a shit about their job. For example, at the downtain Dallas station, a security guard (the same one who kept loudly hounding us about having our tickets out and our bags tagged) yelled back at a man who was understandably annoyed that this guard was treating grown ass men and women like uneducated monkeys who had never stepped foot into civilization before, and said, "It's stupid people like you that hold up the lines when we're boarding!" And don't get me wrong, I've worked with people before and people can suck, but some of this stuff was uncalled for, and frankly, just a dick thing to do when you're making people stand for an hour or long and wait for a bus that they paid whole ass dollars to ride. And even that security guard wasn't enough to make me want to complain. The bus wait wasn't enough. The homeless people and shady figures asking me for pieces of my Pizza Hut pizza were not enough for me to want to complain. The cherry on top of my shit sundae was at the end of my trip, and we were arriving at the bus terminal at 4am in Houston and our bus driver was mumbling incoherently into the intercom about what we needed to do next, and I stepped off and saw my bag by the side of the bus (about 2 feet from where I was standing) and I asked the driver if I could get my bag and she looks me in the eye, and has the audacity, the utter GALL, to tell me, "Didn't you hear me? I said to go inside and wait" with the most stank attitude, like it wasn't 4 in the morning and some brat hadn't been keeping me up for the past 4 hours with this lullaby toy and like I hadn't been cramped into a single position for the past hours and like I hadn't already been filled to the brink with Greyhound's shit. When I got back home, I downloaded Yelp and now, I'm here. Congrats, cranky bus driver. You've turned me into someone who left a bad review about your company on Yelp. So yeah, Greyhound is great if you want to get somewhere in a decent vehicle and also get treated like subhuman trash the entire time. :) read more

This place sucks. Many homeless people bothering you all the time and the security is almost not doing anything against that. In addition to that they just opened my bag and took stuff out of it without asking for my permission first. I'm not from the US, but I hardly believe that this is legal. The security guy almost dropped my portable hard-drive with all my work on it while checking my bags.. The customer service sucks as well. I've never used greyhound before and they didn't bother to explain to me how anything works. Just one minute before boarding they checked the tickets and told me that I need to get an additional badge for my bags. After I got these the woman wanted to check my ticket again and was yelling at me because I needed to take the tickets out of my pocket again.(that took me like five second, but that was to long for her anyways) If you are staying at this station you somehow always have the feeling that you will get robbed if you don't watch your bags all the time. As I only used greyhound once I don't know how the other stations are like, so maybe they are better than this. But this one was a very bad experience. I don't recommend it and will probably never use it again. Edit: now during my trip a guy just came in, sat besides me and doesn't stop asking for money. Inside of a Bus! I rode the first Grehound bus from Matamoros in Mexico to Brownsville, TX on September 2nd of 2019. First off, the Greyhound bus was supposed to arrive at 4:00 PM. The bus had a slight delay. That was not a problem with me as I just wanted to get to my destination. The bus was surprisingly clean. The driver was friendly and he knew Spanish. There were not so many people on board. Just 4 people were on board. We left Matamoros at about 4:30 PM or so. There was a bit of traffic as a lot of people were in a line to cross through the border. We finally made it to the front of the line and we were pulled into Secondary inspection. We were at Secondary for a few minutes and once we were done being checked, we sat down outside, waiting for the bus to pick us up. The driver nicely put our bags back underneath the coach. We left secondary and were now in Brownsville. We pulled into Brownsville station at about 5:00 PM or so. We ended up transferring buses. The bus ride was really short and was for a 30+ minutes. That bus ride was really great and there were no problems. Now, time for the second greyhound bus. We waited at Brownsville station for about 4 hours. We boarded the second bus at about 9:00 PM. The bus was a white Vanhool bus. We left Brownsville a few minutes later. We stopped in McAllen, TX to pick up more passengers/drop some off. We then left McAllen and we were on our way to Houston. We stopped multiple times at some gas stations for a restroom break and food break. At about 4:40 AM on September 3rd, we pulled into Houston central station. Some people got off at that station. Our final stop was at Houston Harrisburg station. We arrived at Houston Harrisburg station at about 5:45 AM. Overall, it was a great trip. The seats were a bit hard but I was able to get some sleep. The second bus had Wi-Fi that worked and the power outlets at my seat worked. Both buses that I rode on were very clean and there we friendly drivers on both trips I went on that knew Spanish. Some seats on the second bus I rode on had some rips in them. Everything around my seat worked. I know that Greyhound doesn't have a lot of good reviews but those two trips I went on were great with no problems. I will travel with Greyhound again only if I am out of options and if Greyhound bus tickets are cheaper than other bus company's tickets. read more

First of all, don't come to this place dressed nice or with a purse that isn't a cross body. My mom's car broke down and she needed to get back to San Antonio; since I couldn't drive her back, I got her a bus ticket. I have taken busses in the US and overseas so I didn't think anything of it. This is hands down one of the most dangerous bus stops : locations I've ever been to. Even the employee told me that he had never seen one like this. There are homeless people surrounding the bus stop along with intoxicated pedestrians. I was sexually harassed while walking my mom to the entrance because the parking is in the back. There isn't a way to go front he back where parking is to the front. You have to walk all the way around which means you have to go through the rough part in order to get inside. I was holding on to my mom and purse for my dear life. I will never ever ever make my mom go on a bus here again and I do not recommend using this in the evening. If you do use it, go during the day. read more

*Bus Travel Tip* Prepare that ass, will yah? ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS have at least a snack or two and/or full stomach and refreshment packed on you - not in your checked bag locked below - before boarding any bus, regardless of distance. It's just general good practice, and should the bus break down or encounter any road woes, you can drown your sorrows with some fried chicken and sour patch kids. Being able to offer one in need is also a great way to make a friend while aboard. No one likes to be hangry or around one who is. It wouldn't hurt to also have a good book and light sweater for some creature comforts. Now for the station itself and subsequent overall experience review: The immediate perimeter of this bus station is under a pretty constant occupation of homeless/drunks/addicts/dealers - and they even extend to the McDonald's across the street, for what that's worth. There are security guards on site (I saw three during my time there) so in theory it should take a little of the edge off, but stay on your game and have your possessions accounted for at all times. I wouldn't exactly feel comfortable leaving a girlfriend/sister/mother/someone who you care very much for their well-being here alone for an extended time unless they retreat promptly to the seated area out back where boarding the actual buses take place - and only accessible to ticket holders- otherwise you're more susceptible to varying degrees of harassment from said occupants. I used Greyhound to book my trip to Austin this weekend which should have been just a shade over 3 hours, but the bus' engine ceased while we were ~30 miles from arrival. Throughout the first 1.5 hours of being stuck along the highway, the bus driver was unable to contact anyone from the station in Austin for assistance. What type of shit is that? The bus driver. Cannot get in touch. With the company in which she operates for? Drivers are supposed to have the proper resources to ensure a safe and efficient experience, no? No is indeed the answer in this case. Luckily it wasn't in harsh/cold weather conditions to make it even more miserable and unsafe. A passenger who sat behind me called the customer service line while awaiting for help, and after going back and forth with the rep and her manager for over 30 mins, she was told outright that if she steps off the bus and doesn't complete her trip, her ticket will under no circumstances be credited/refunded. What else are we to do if even the damn driver can't contact anyone for help? Seriously, are you kidding me? I said fuck that, take my $11.50 bus fare and I called my cousin to come scoop me up from this accident-waiting-to-happen trap of a ceased bus with tractor trucks blazing by through the night sky. I just wonder how the other passengers got to Austin and how long this huge inconvenience lasted in the end. From now on when I embark on my journeys via bus, I'll be more than happy to pay a little extra and get a more professional and comfortable experience with MegaBus when the option presents itself. Step your shit up Greyhound. I've got no doubt in my mind that this company makes enough annual revenue in The Americas to do away with your fleet of deteriorating, dilapidated buses with an absent communications/triage department. read more

I had never taken the bus and though I had heard the horror stories of dirty people and busses etc, I figured I'm from Chicago, moved here from Miami, I've seen it all, so how bad could it be? Wow.. There is a whole other subculture and lingo at the bus station. I only was going to San Antonio and was too lazy to drive. Also, due to gas, the tix were cheaper than 2 full tanks of gas to get there and back. Honestly, I'm not going to nit pick each and every disgusting thing I saw there, instead i'll just tell you this: Whatever you're thinking about bus travel, and bus stations being gross and scary, go with that. Shady McGrady! I catch the bus a few times a year. Been to Greyhound stations in 5 different states. Like the buses, the stations are hit or miss. This location is a miss. Even with a food court, though small, it's still a miss. It operates like any other Greyhound station I've been to but this one is suspect at best due to the folks in & around the station. I'm referring to the employees & the patrons. I've seen staff members argue and curse each other out. This isn't a location you're gonna get glowing customer service from so remember that before getting an attitude with the staff. Don't be surprised if you get dismissed or even ignored. This location happens to be one of the first stops from Huntsville so don't be surprised to see dudes coming home for the first time in 5 to 10 (yrs). Outside you'll find people hustling trying to make a buck. Mostly gypsy cabs but I've seen all kinds of stuff go down outside this bus station. Good to have eyes in the back of your head. I'd recommend Megabus just a few blocks away. But if this kinda stuff doesn't phase you, have at it cowboy. read more

Houston's Greyhound riders are lucky. Their station has an actual restaurant inside, a clean restroom, security check of your bags, designated corrals for the many gates, and an attractive modem exterior and interior. Only three things would make this place a perfect bus station: - Metal detector or X-ray machine at the security check - Screen showing the gates for each destination - Larger drop-off / temporary parking area where passengers being dropped off can say goodbye to loved ones and unload their bags leisurely. Experiences with staff were good. I asked an employee which gate was for Austin and she answered (without friendliness but also without insults like JFK TSA agents). Not that it matters, but the other bus riders were friendly, normal-looking folks who could be your coworkers or neighbors. The onsite restaurant was 24-hour! read more

Needed to get from Houston to El Paso for a funeral. Couldn't afford the $800 plane ticket so decided to take the bus. Booked a ticket for an express route departing Houston at 2:55 am on Monday and arriving in El Paso at 4:10 pm Monday, the same day (14 hour trip) PERFECT for a funeral that starts at 9am on Tuesday (at least that's what I thought). Reality is.....my bus didn't leave Houston until around 5am on Monday on and I didn't get to El Paso until 4am on Tuesday, just 5 hours before the funeral started. What should have been a 14 hour trip...took 23 hours. Why??? Was told by a Greyhound Rep that the driver needed more sleep, which is why the bus going out of Houston was late to leave...getting to San Antonio AFTER my connecting bus had already left. So instead of a 30 minute layover in San Antonio, it was a 3 hour layover. Then from San Antonio to El Paso, the bus driver said he was hungry so he pulled into Whataburger for just over an hour. Then later a passenger got off at a "15 minute stop" and there was an issue getting his luggage out which took another hour. I know....what can be expected for a $100 ticket. Well... I don't expect a bus to be late because my driver is still sleeping...get a different driver! And I don't expect an unplanned hour stop at Whataburger because the driver forgot to eat. And I don't expect it to take an hour to unload 1 passenger's luggage. Not to mention the 15 crackheads I had to walk through to get into the Houston building to start my 23 hour long trip. They were late on every bus. Drivers are rude when you ask if this is your bus. There was no sign and the app did not say which bus you needed. I saw many people arrive from a connecting bus already late and they were told to come back in the Morning. It was already 11pm I have no idea where those people spent the night. I was at union station at 11pm I waited for hours for my connection bus. We all did and security left us a couple hours in down town LA. Not their fault. I tried calling Greyhound to terminate my return ticket because I'm pregnant and was locked outside with no restrooms or updates in winter. It was freezing I couldn't leave because I didn't want to miss my bus. Inside the bus it smelled like the toilet chemicals all the way to the middle of the bus. The seats were small and cramped the seatbelt dug into my side and my shins hit the seat in front of me for hours. I arrived late to my event. It was a nightmare. Customer service was another unpleasant experience. DON'T RIDE GREYHOUND LOOK AT THE REVIEWS!!!! not worth it. Here is a photo at 2am. We were freezing and not enough seats. There were little kids in the bus cuddled under blankets and hungry eating crackers because none of us planned to be left this way outside. read more

I took the greyhound in summer of 2013 to save gas to travel to houston from Austin. The station in Austin was gross and there were a couple of sketchy looking people around. The bus ride was decent. The driver was a rude black lady. But the seats were comfortable and you get your own outlet. The bus was about half filled and I had my own row. Everyone was pretty quiet and sleeping. In houston the bus station is 10x worse than the one in austin. Lucky me my boyfriend was waiting when I get off the bus. Without him I probably would have felt extremely unsafe. There are so many hobos outside and every single one asks for money and I guess they don't know what personal space is. They need more cops outside because it was just unpleasant experience. Bring a jacket because it gets cold and don't drink anything or you'll have to use the facilities and trust me you don't want that. read more

My three stars seem generous, no? I am comparing this Greyhound station to the Dallas and Shreveport bus stations. There is a McDonald's across the street, in addition to the snack bar inside the station. The waiting area has tables and chairs, not just chairs or benches. It is very easy to see the bus lanes and the bathrooms are spacious (at least the women's restroom was....) As far as Greyhound bus stations go, this is the Ritz.... read more

Decided to take Greyhound from Buffalo, Texas to Beaumont, Texas, to drive back a car. Instructions required that I arrive in Buffalo 1 hour ahead of departure. No reason for that requirement: I wound up sitting in a truck stop in Buffalo for an hour. The bus was clean and it was a pleasant enough ride, until we got to Houston. There was no one to offer information, instructions, or even just plain old customer service. My bus arrived AFTER my connecting bus was to depart, so I was on my own and agitated, trying to find my connection. In wandering around the terminal, I accidentally went into a "non-secured" area, and then had to be searched before I could return to the loading area. Apparently they think I was searched in Buffalo, Texas, and had I not been wandering around, I would have been able to board another bus immediately with NO security screening whatsoever. Not one single Greyhound employee anywhere bothered asking me for identification. Finally I decided to ask the driver of a boarding bus that was bound for New Orleans. Nowhere on my ticket were there any numbers that would have allowed me to identify my connecting bus. Turns out that was to be my connecting bus, and I was the last to board. Got to my destination on time, and it was not a bad trip...but I won't go with Greyhound again. read more

Greyhound has FREE WIFI on their buses. I'm using it to write this review! They also have a new initiative BLUE - the entertainment library of movies, etc via Lufthansa so make sure to bring your laptops/tablets to access that, however it's only available on Houston-Dallas route as this is a pilot program. The reason for 3 stars is because of the condition of their terminals, dirty and sketchy. Book early online as they always have great specials. If you're using someone else's credit card to book they will charge you an extra $18. read more

You're better off paying for a flight! Or use Mega Bus! This will be the first and last time using Greyhound! I traveled from Houston to NYC! Only reason I opted for bus was to save some $$ vs flight....never again! The departure time was 12:01am but the bus doesn't leave until close to 1am! More frustrating the driver walks in around 12:30am acting like he's on time and gives no apology for being late. Customer service wasn't at all helpful when asking about why the delay. From start to finish, the trip was a nightmare. What was suppose to be 30 to 45 min waits turned into 3 hour wait times b/c of the same reason, drivers not showing up on time and no one knew what was going on. I was suppose to arrive at 6pm to NYC....didn't happen...the bus didn't arrive until 10pm! 4 hour difference! Obvious they don't care about the scheduled time stated on your itinerary- they arrive whenever. Never again will I use them; paying for a flight next time. read more

TL/DR - this place is NOT safe, do not take your chances. If you're gonna be picked up, wait inside for as long as possible until your ride arrives. Outside is really dodgy with a lot of sketchy and shady people including outright criminals. This is one of the worst 'hoods in Houston, and I lived there for quite a few years so I know what I'm talking about. I am a white guy with a youthful and innocent looking face. I've been to this station many times, both inbound and outbound, and every time I've been accosted one way or another by criminals, grifters, and drifters who want something from me, legally and illegally. There are people there who are not nice, to say the least, and are looking to rob people. Also, beware of all of the guys who want to "get you a taxi" and try to demand money for it. Call your own taxi or uber or whatever, and don't let the jerks who hang around bully you into letting them carry your bag. I had one guy basically forcefully take my bag and move it 5 feet and demanded 5 bucks for it, even though I told him repeatedly I didn't want his "help." Years earlier had another guy try to steal from my bag while I was playing a video game. I stopped playing the game immediately and turned around and he took off. I followed him and considered calling the police, but he turned his pockets inside out to show he didn't steal anything, and besides I knew that the zipper he opened on my bag was an empty pocket. Inside the station is pretty safe because they have guards and a policeman or two. But you really don't want to be outside any longer than necessary. If you can't afford a cab all the way to your destination when you arrive there, at least take a cab to a bus terminal (transit station). It's worth a few bucks, for sure! If you're leaving from Houston to go somewhere else, the same principle applies. Take a bus to a station nearby the Greyhound station, then take a cab the rest of the way. Unless you are non-white and look pretty tough, you don't want to walk around that area of town alone, or really even without an armed guard. I even find that walking a few blocks from the nearby metro station is pretty dangerous and scary, so I don't use that one. Besides, that transit station is pretty dodgy anyway, so I don't wanna hang around there too long either. It's worth a few bucks to protect your stuff and even possibly your life. Do NOT take your chances with this place, it's seriously bad news. read more

Worst service. The bus was scheduled to be at 6.30pm and they ask us to reach 30 mins before. So, i reached at 6pm and stayed in the line until 6.50pm to hear them say that the bus got delayed for 2 hours. After, 2 hours i again go there and the bus is still delayed indefinitely and also if you go to talk to the staff, I've never seen a staff more rude than that. read more

Rude Customer service. The bus is 3 hours late and fucking counting. You need to update your customers on delays! This is fucking ridiculous. People shouldn't have to wait 3 hours for a bus. I understood there are certain delays in transportation, but it should he told to the passengers. I had a trip for 12:01 Am and it's now 10 mines from 3:00. This is purely ridiculous and you will never have my service again. I will make sure that anyone who plans to use greyhound around me doesn't. If I could give this bus company 0 stars, I would! Save your time and money and look for transportation elsewhere!! My boyfriends departure time was supposed to be at 6:20 am, and the bus got there until 7:30!! The bus waiting for them at Austin left them because of the delay, so he had no other option but to wait until 12:00pm for the next bus available to Houston. He waited for over 3 hours at the station in Austin, mind you, he hasn't eaten since 5 in the morning, and they offered absolutely nothing for the inconvenience. We called corporate only for a lady to tell us he has to wait 24 hours after he arrives to his destination to provide a "resolution". This is ridiculous and words can't express how upset and angry I am. The least they could've done is offer a meal for basically having him starve over something that was out of his control. He missed what he was supposed to be in Houston for and spent an unreasonable amount of time at the bus station. Do better greyhound. There is no reason why this should be happening, and there is no reason why you shouldn't have an immediate solution to such inconveniences. Never again. Really want to give this bus station a -5 stars . I had bought my tickets online so I can go directly to My bus but the bus driver didn't want let us in saying me had to buy other tickets , once we changed our tickets the lady took our tickets for comming back which we didn't know until it was time to come back from where we had went . If I didn't have to use this bus station I wouldn't. They have just about the worst customer service and the rudest employees. Every time I take these busses they arrive late. The stations are confusing and if you're not in line with your bag already checked 20 minutes before the bus leaves you're basically screwed. There's always homeless people outside the station asking for change and others harassing you. Not smart to travel with them, at night especially. Stations are dirty and they don't clean the busses before you get on. Some seats don't have working outlets and others just don't have outlets at all. The 'wifi' they advertised is the slowest and worst quality wifi I've ever experienced. The only benefit is that they are cheap and get you from point A to point B... as long as you are lucky enough to find your bus and actually get on it. read more

my girlfriend ordered a ticket for me on my card thinking she would be helpful.... in planning my trip to see my brother for thanksgiving not knowing i means of other transportation. i contacted greyhound no more than 10 minutes later... only to be told she purchased a non refundable ticket. needless to say im not happy... that they would need to take my lousy 15 dollars i needed for travel. i really hope they feel good about screwing people over... times are hard but, i didnt they so hard that company like this ar3 taking advantage of hard working people like ourselves... great job greyhound read more
