Wow! I can't say enough good things about Chetzels Bakehouse! The owner is an absolute delight! She explained her cooking theories, why she opened her bakery, and what makes her food so special. The bakery is so cute. Beautiful tiling on the walls, string lights, and an open space kitchen. The food...goodness!!!! If I could eat there all day I absolutely would. I have been wanting to try Chetzels for some time based on reviews. We had an urge for pizza tonight and ordered one margarita and one pepperoni w/ tomato. We ordered via the Instagram site link and picked up. The owner said she will stay past closing to finish the online ordered. Pizza is size of a personal size pizza, but filling as the crust is heavier than dough. Little pricey, but all authentic and natural. They have a couple cafe tables inside and out if you prefer to eat there. read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. We accidentally found it and man oh man it is so good. The aged cheddar pretzel was amazing and the little cheese bites are superb. The jalepeno was just enough heat but oh so cheesey. The pretzel, which she said to warm up since we were taking it to go, was absolutely amazing room temp after a concert when I was hungry. A stand at local farmers market turned permanent location! Sweet owner and place. You can tell a lot of thought and effort went into baking all the product. Although on the pricier side ($5/cookie), I loved the cookie I got! Was warm, gooey, and flavorful. The cheese bites were also tasty, but wish they were warm like the cookie. (Maybe a heating lamp may help?) Overall, it was cute! Inside there's no seating options- so everything is to go. This is the best food I've had since I lived in Italy. The food is fantastic! She is an immigrant so maybe that's where the extra touch comes from: Everything is made from scratch and its strictly healthy ingredients. I ask her about what goes into the food and she is strict. She goes to great lengths to make sure everything is healthy, including importing when needed. No seed oils, no preservatives, no cutting corners, no crap. You can taste the depth of flavors. Some of my favorites are the frozen empanadas that I take home to heat up throughout the week. I love the Oaxaca Chicken Mole, Piri Piri Chicken, and Queso Blanco. I love the pizzas too! Typically I prefer savory to sweet and I still find myself buying more of the sweets than I intended too each time I walk into. Her service is excellent and personal so expect to spend a little time when you're here as she likes to get to know you and give each customer a lot of attention. Also, she is extremely accommodating for food allergies. There are options available for every different kind of dietary preference and she uses dedicated cooking surfaces to accommodate them. I am a person with Hashimoto's so I look for places that are thorough about this. I cannot believe how lucky we are to have a place like this here! It started off with me going to Maniacs and noticing this place next door. I originally just came to support local businesses, but I quickly found out this place is truly a gem. I was already full from eating earlier, but once I laid my eyes on the many things offered, my eyes wanted everything even though my stomach said no. I got a cinnamon roll, and let's just say from the first bite to the last, it was truly the best I've ever had. Everything is absolutely worth it. I was honestly guilt-eating while enjoying it and just thinking, I love my life lol. The customer service was splendid, and the cleanliness stood out as well. Hearing Karina talk about her products and her story was amazing -- it showed that she truly knows her craft and has genuine passion for what she does, which made the experience even better. Karina is truly a magician and a master at her craft. They obviously serve more than cinnamon rolls too. She has a wide variety of items to offer, uses no seed oils (which is perfect since I'm allergic), and apparently even has gluten-free options. She also makes pretty much everything fresh and in-house. There's honestly so much I could write about this place. This was an INCREDIBLE experience. Everything I had here was a 10/10. The hazelnut cookie was to die for. Not to be dramatic but I think I shed a tear of joy when I tasted the Guava and Queso Blanco empanadita. And don't even get me started on the pork empanadita. As someone with a gluten allergy, it's so hard to find gluten-free bakeries that have things that aren't just sweets. The texture of gluten-free food can sometimes be off putting, but that was absolutely not the case here. I almost freaked out for a second because it didn't taste gluten-free - it was THAT good. I wish I would've taken pictures of everything I got, but it didn't last long enough for a picture LOL. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was impeccable.
