Service was excellent, same cozy atmosphere, new owners since we were last here. East Indian food and owner now, most of the previous menu items with new Indian cuisine items. Indian Dishes come with what they call naan, it is nothing like naan. Tastes and looks like pizza crust, even has the oven marks on the bottom. Indian flavors are on point, but he doesn't use traditional coconut milk, just heavy cream. TBH it's like he's gone cheap and is trying to save money. We probably won't be back sadly.

Super Indian cuisine. I had the coconut chicken and samosas. Service was friendly and the food was ou

Baked cod with pesto and salmon Niçoise salad

When I think of fine dining, I don't normally think of Enumclaw. I was pleasantly surprised to stop into this eatery and find fine city dining in a tiny little town. I had the baked cod that was on special and my husband has the salmon Niçoise salad. The cod was buttery, creamy, with the right balance of a fishy taste and a sauce that compliments the meal. For sides, I got steamed carrots and wild rice. My husband's salmon was just a touch over cooked but still delicious with a wonderful pesto sauce and delicious vinaigrette dresses that balances with the creamy sauce on the salmon. We sat outside in the tent and it's situated with headers for the cold and open sides for the warm. The blood orange cider is to die for! If you're in the area and want a delicious meal to round out your hike or trip, try Griffin & Wells. It'll surprise you!

The smothered biscuit and gravy, the tots lathered in gravy, and then the Chicken Fried Steak... it's like finding a local Holy Grail of food trucks! It is legit delicious!! My mind was blown by the quality of food and the whole experience. Loved it! I can't wait to take my boys here. They won't believe it. There's not much more I can say, other than I've been here a few times now, and would love a good coffee to go with the food. Loved chatting with the owner and of her story. Thank you for the experience and we will be back again! As always, Enjoy & Happy Eating!

Cast Iron Queen in Enumclaw delivers on both food and setting. The retro trailer, pulled by a…read morevintage truck, sits behind a white picket fence next to a sunflower field, with Mount Peak in view. Picnic tables and lawn games make it a fun stop. We went on a sunny day and with no shade I was glad I had sunscreen and sunglasses. We didn't have much of a wait, just long enough for me to dash over and snap photos of the sunflowers before our food came. They serve breakfast and lunch, and since they often sell out by 2PM, it's best to arrive early. We ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy, the Candied Jalapeño Chicken Sammy, loaded tots, and a blackberry milkshake. These are four-napkin sandwiches -- huge, messy, and finger-licking good. You'll want a bottled water in the car to rinse your hands after tackling one of these. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy came stacked with a giant fried chicken breast coated in their house hot sauce, layered with slaw and pickles on a brioche bun. The Candied Jalapeño Chicken Sammy had crisp chicken, melted cheese, sautéed onion, lettuce, and their sweet-heat jalapeño sauce. The loaded tots came piled with chopped chicken, bacon, cheese, green onion, and sauce. The blackberry milkshake, blended with real berries, tied everything together. For the size of the portions and the quality, the price felt right. Cast Iron Queen serves delicious comfort food in a setting that feels distinctly Enumclaw.

THE DUSTY SHELF: WHERE COFFEE MEETS CARVED SWAYZE SANCTUARY…read more Listen, their pour-over coffee is a masterpiece - each cup meticulously prepared with water so pure it makes angels weep. BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE LIFE-SIZED HAND-CARVED CEDAR STATUE OF PATRICK SWAYZE FROM "POINT BREAK" DOING A PERFECT BACKSIDE AIR WHILE HOLDING AN ESPRESSO CUP? It's positioned by the cream and sugar station with such precision that when the morning light hits it, even the FBI agents would cry. Their Earl Grey is sourced from a secret garden tended by tea mystics. Whatever. Because I just witnessed the unveiling of their newest masterpiece: a mahogany Swayze in full "Dirty Dancing" lift pose, holding aloft not Jennifer Grey, but a perfectly balanced chai latte. The craftsmanship on those wooden dance pants is UNPRECEDENTED. Sure, their single-origin Ethiopian beans are hand-selected by monks who've taken a vow of excellent taste. But let's talk about what's really important: the rotating display of "Road House" Swayze carvings, each depicting a different roundhouse kick frozen in pine and oak. The one where he's simultaneously bouncing a troublemaker AND pulling a perfect shot of espresso? *chef's kiss* The baristas can discuss coffee varietals with scholarly precision, but can they explain why I just spent three hours staring at the intricate detail work on the "Ghost" sculpture where Swayze's wooden hands are simultaneously throwing pottery AND tamping espresso grounds? The artist even carved tiny clay spatter on his rolled-up sleeves! Their matcha ceremony is a testament to tradition. Cool. But have you seen the walnut Swayze from "Black Dog" arm-wrestling a bear while balancing a French press on his head? They say it took seven master carvers and one Patrick Swayze historian to get the mullet exactly right. The wall of Swayze isn't just art - it's a timeline of cinematic history carved in exotic hardwoods. They've arranged the statues chronologically, with special lighting that makes them appear to dance at exactly 3:17 PM every day. I've rearranged my entire work schedule around this miracle. Five stars for their beverage program - their commitment to craft is outstanding. But INFINITE SWAYZE stars for creating the world's first coffee shop/Swayze sculpture garden. I've started hosting guided tours. Tuesday's theme is "From 'The Outsiders' to Outer Bark: A Journey Through Wooden Swayze Evolution." P.S. I heard they're commissioning a new piece: Swayze from "To Wong Foo" carved entirely from rare purple heartwood. I've already taken out a second mortgage to fund my daily visits during the carving process. P.P.S. The pastries are excellent too, but have you seen how they're displayed on shelves supported by brackets carved to look like Swayze's perfectly chiseled jawline? That's attention to detail. Note: To the health inspector who questioned whether wooden Swayze statues belong near food preparation areas - clearly you've never experienced the purifying power of Patrick's carved gaze watching over your coffee grinding technique. Special Addendum: I'm not saying they should add more, but I am saying there's a conspicuous lack of "Steel Dawn" Swayze wielding a sword made of coffee stirrers. Just an observation. Remember: Nobody puts Swayze in the corner. They put him on handcrafted pedestals made from reclaimed barn wood, illuminated by vintage Edison bulbs that make his wooden muscles glisten like morning dew on a coffee leaf.

Proper Patty ($11) - This burger comes with two smash patties, both of which are heavily salted and somewhat crisped up - the pictures from other people make it seem like they cook long enough to get lacy caramelized edges, but it's not quite to that point. Instead, the burgers, while not moist and fatty, aren't dried out either, and give a great beefy flavor. The burger sauce adds some tangy sweetness, and some pickles on top adds even more sweetness, but a very fresh crunch. It's otherwise pretty standard with the lettuce and tomato. A solid smashburger. (4/5) Fries ($5) - These are fried enough to give a crust on the potatoes, but not enough for the fries to be come crisp. Still, they aren't floppy, so while not entirely crisp, these are still good for eating especially since the insides are nice and fluffy. They are salted a lot, which combined with the salty dip (we went with the Bud's Sauce), equals a parched mouth after eating. I think they actually use a lime salt or something as I can detect a bit of citrus flavor. The Bud's Sauce is a nice mayochup mixture with I think a bit of smokiness from paprika and some chopped onion. It's sweet, tangy, and salty. (4/5) Overall Burger Buds serves some nice classic smashburgers! It's great for a visit while in town for a quick and easy meal.
