Cool ambiance and location but the beers are subpar. Tried just about all of their selections and none of them were better than your average offering. Didn't try the food but the menu is limited and the pizza we saw at a table next to us looked like frozen pizza. Oh and they call it "za" on the menu which is absolutely douchey. Stop trying to be an idiot trend setter and just call it pizza.

    WTFrench onion dip

A hidden gem in western NY! Great beer and great food! A must try! Staff is friendly and helpful!

OM Griffon Sicilian 'ZA (minus the peppers, they were quite spicy lol )

Lovely atmosphere, amazing staff, beer options were incredible. And the s'mores galore pizza was out of this world.

Had fish sandwich, not that good. Service ok even though they were short staffed. Won't be back soon.

After three wineries, my husband was definitely ready for some food. When you walk in, you definitely feel like you're entering an English pub! The bar, and place, ent of the bar was very traditional to pubs in the UK. Our server Lawerence definitely helped with his English accent! When asked where he was from, he said Bristol! He came to Canada after her sister relocated. He originally was a cook, but given his accent, they asked hi. To move to the front! Well done. He was a great server too! Very friendly! We decided to share the sausage rolls and shepherds pie. My husband had two Guinness! I'm not sure where he put it in top of the wine, but glad I was driving. The sausage rolls were very tasty. The mustard that came for dipping was the perfect accompaniment. The shepherd's pie had a dark Guinness gravy that was rich and flavorful. I enjoyed the side of peas and carrots too! Sharing these two was the perfect amount, however we wished we'd got the poutine! It looked amazing, it would've been too much food though. Guess we will need to return! PS: loved seeing the sign for Upper Canada Brewing company! In 1988, I visited them with my college partner as we did a college paper on microbrewers! At that time, they were one of a few. We also had visited Great Lakes brewing in CLE! The microbrewing industry exploded shortly there after! Was a great personal walk down memory lane for my college days!! While Upper Canada was sold, was just excellent to see an old sign!

Also, the peach & chicken pot pie was a terrific blend of sweet and savory. Very good! There was a guitarist playing songs and it was a lively atmosphere and fun! We didn't reserve in advance (which I now highly recommend). The wait was about an hour, but we passed the time at the nearby Churchill with a pre‑drink, and they texted us when our table was ready. The Sunday night jazz band was fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they work together as a team to take care of you. Amber was our primary server - she was great. Service for both drinks and food was quick, and the cozy Irish pub atmosphere made it even better. Definitely try to reserve ahead on the website if you can. If not, just plan to relax at one of the nearby pubs until your table is ready.

The live music added a really lively atmosphere and made the night feel special, but it did get a little loud at times, which made it hard to talk without leaning in. We made a reservation ahead of time, which was helpful, but next time I'd probably opt to sit outside instead for a more relaxed vibe!

I understand that real estate is at a premium, but this the smallest LCBO I've seen in Ontario! The other reason not to come here is that they have such limited hours! I can't believe they wouldn't be more profitable if they stayed open later than 6PM or 8PM. Pass this one up and head to Niagara Falls where they stay open much later, 10PM or 11PM.

It's a bright and clean store with great organization and help is available if needed. They take US dollars (giving you CA change) too, which was incredibly convenient for me since it was a pre money conversation stop. Wine and liquor is kept in the front of the store, with a convenient chilled wine selection as well. I wandered back to the "beer cooler" to find an impressive selection and was able to pick up a variety of local cans. Most craft beers are sold individually in large 473 mL aluminum cans. You'll pay for the beer as well as a $.10CA deposit (FYI: this location does not refund the deposit fees!) I felt pretty lucky to strike up a conversation with an employee who was able to recommend some great options and was very welcoming. Whether you're looking to party in up with friends, bring a couple drinks back to your house (or hotel room) or have a picnic in the park, the LCBO is your best bet for stocking up. Do note, the hours are limited compared to US liquor store hours, staying open the latest on Thursday and Fridays, and that's only until 8pm. I highly recommend grabbing some wine here and some cheese at Cheese Secrets around the corner and heading over to Simcoe Park for a picnic.
