Live Edge Brewing has become a New Year's Eve tradition for my family the last few years as we'll grab a beer flight and socialize then head home for dinner (get off the roads before all the party-goers are out). I was surprised to see I haven't written a review but I always have a good experience here! For my mom's birthday, she wanted to grab a beer flight and dinner at Live Edge Brewing. We arrived on a Saturday around 4:45pm and took a parking spot close to the entrance. They have a good-size parking lot so no concerns about finding a space. We walked in and saw the "wait to be seated" sign and soon afterward, a young woman came over and asked how many in our party and where we'd like to sit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The three of us decided to sit on their back patio. We picked a table and our waitress soon followed with drink/food menus. All of the tables outside had umbrellas to help shield from the sun, which on this Saturday was out but the temperature was perfect and there was a slight breeze to cool it down a little[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The one oddity we had was that our drink menus didn't match as my menu had more taps listed compared to the others I was sitting with, so I ended up getting a drink in my flight they never saw. I slight hiccup but honestly, you can't be too upset with a drink in your hand! Our waitress was young and incredibly personable, friendly, accommodating, answering all our questions about the food and customizing our orders how we wanted them. We might have let it slip that it was my mom's birthday - Our waitress brought her a birthday cake shot to celebrate, which she loved! Our waitress let us take our time sampling our beer flights before placing our food orders. The wait time for our food was very reasonable, maybe 10-15 minutes, I can't remember as we were having too good a time chatting and sipping. For dinner, I ordered their Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy, which is a hand-breaded toaster-oven-baked chicken breast topped with provolone cheese, pickles, and their Nashville hot sauce between a brioche bun and served with a side of tater tots (a small upcharge from their default chips). The sandwich was delicious! Now, for you spice lovers, I didn't find this sandwich very spicy, it was more about the flavor, the tang of the sauce. I didn't mind it not being that spicy, the flavor was excellent! The pickles were thick and had a nice crisp to them and the provolone cheese paired so well with it all. The tater tots were fried perfectly with a crispier exterior but hot, pillowy-soft interior - For the small upcharge, ~$3.00, they were worth it. The portion sizes were perfect as I was perfectly full, I wasn't uncomfortable. The price of my meal was reasonable as well, especially seeing how everything's costing more in 2026. Live Edge Brewing is not only a family favorite but for me, it's a hidden gem. The friendly, laid back, yet still attentive service and country atmosphere have us continuing to come back each New Year's Eve, and now, this could become a new birthday tradition! read more

This is the first time I was at this Restaurant. It was a wonderful summer evening, so my friend and I sat on the patio. The service was really good, and staff was solicitous and friendly, despite it being quite busy. The food was delicious. The memu was typical fare, but with added flair. Side sauces for apps and sandwiches. I got a huge chicken sandwich with bacon and provolone cheese, and a beer and the price was very reasonable. To top it off, they had live music, a singer, guitarist, Kevin White, who was really enjoyable, and took requests! I would recommend this place highly. read more

Our drink order was initially wrong. Asked for an IPA, got the Oktoberfest. Drink reviews on Untapped. Taproom loaded chips. With bacon. 10/10 Tortilla Chips are amazing. They're fresh and crisped perfectly. Cheese is good. Tomatoes are very fresh. Bacon was crispy but a little dark in color. Pretzel bites 7/10 Can't tell they're fried, the cheese made them soggy, like if they were baked. The cheese and bacon is delicious though. read more

Went here day after Christmas with a party of 10. There was one server/bartender and one cook. Dori, our server, didn't panic when another table of 14 and 6 came in. Calls were made! I am amazed at how fast our drinks, appetizers and meals came out and were spot on and delicious! She even did separate checks! I had a burger which was very tasty and I recommend the fried pickles! The place is a 5/5 the location, the building is amazing. Servers/bartenders are also 5/5. The food though is mediocre at best.. it says fried chicken wings when clearly these chicken wings tasted like rubber .. you can do better live edge i know you can! The soft pretzels with beer cheese were mediocre. They weren't crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like other restaurants. The chicken sandwich was good. We were then handed 2 menus and the waitress said she would be back but 10 minutes later a bartender finally seated us. A table of 8 then was seated about 10 minutes later. We stopped here on Mother's Day and had a lovely time. Our servers were super friendly, patient, and helpful. We tried small samples of the beer before we ordered. We decided on the Live Edge Irish Cherry Red Ale and the Live Edge Spalted Mahogany. Both were very good, brewed onsite, and $7 per pint. Next we ordered the soft pretzels, which were a bit salty, but we enjoyed them dipped in the honey mustard sauce. For our meals, we ordered the burger, BLT sandwich, and the signature crispy red potatoes with truffle oil, asiago and parmesan cheese. All of the food was tasty, prepared as ordered, and hot. We visited Live Edge for dinner and some live music. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted and seated. The menu is not expansive, but has food such as pretzels, onion rings, nachos, wings, salads, burgers and tacos to name a few. We both ordered a single patty smash burger with house made chips. The burger meat itself was about the size of a McDonald's burger, but much better quality meat... The size was quite disappointing, but the roll was a decent brioche roll and it came with onion, lettuce, tomato and a slice of cheese... To add a second patty was $5 more. The chips were also a let down... Some were not crispy and kind of chewy and a good portion of the crispy ones were super greasy. Both of us were left hungry after our burgers, so we ordered onion rings. They were pretty good; nice thick slices of onion. I did see an order of loaded nachos go out to someone's table which looked super good and made me regret my lackluster order... Haha. The live music was good and their beer list looked like it had a decent selection though neither of us drank alcohol. It was quite cold inside... I suspect in part to them not having a breezeway... Today in May all the fruit trees were in full bloom and the orchards and vineyards looked lovely .The brewery has a nice indoor dining area with a long bar along with a covered patio and outdoor beer garden. We enjoyed sitting outside in the pet friendly fresh air. We enjoyed both of their brewed beers. Live Edge double IPA was fresh and crisp and tasted great on a hot day. The Irish cherry red ale was surprisingly smooth with just a hint of cherry taste. They have a nice cocktail and wine list too. The Blue Sky was refreshing and not bitter; with a nice balance of the blueberry vodka and lemonade. They have a nice menu too with everything from shareable snacks to salads , sandwiches and burgers. You'll find some different items from the usual bar food too like fried pickles, Cajun corn fritters, poutine, salmon sandwiches, Mac n cheese bites as well as a strawberry feta salad. The webpage shows only a beer menu at the top , but once you click on it , it is actually in included all their beverages : beer, wine , cocktails as well as non alcoholic drink such as draft root beer. I was wine touring with a few guests and we decided to stop here and add some brew tasting to our wine tour. It is right next door to Schulze Vineyards so you can stop at two places without driving. The interior is spacious with long wooden tables. They serve beers from several area breweries in addition to their own. They have flights if you want sample a few different products. Food is a must and the bar food selections were plentiful and tasty. I'm adding Live Edge to my wine touring agendas from now on. read more

I've been here a couple times and had good experiences. Pre-covid and during. Pre-covid the place was hopping! Tons of people inside and out, diners, drinker, wine tour busses all having a good time. This time although more subdued, it was still lively-and properly distanced. Everyone was out on their patios. We sat at the bar, the only patrons inside until a table of 3 came to dine in. Didn't exactly live up to the hype, but not too bad. Overall, I'd go back for drinks rather than for food. First, If you want to sit under the awning on the patio you need to make a reservation! If not you can sit on the patio in the sun or inside. The service was kind of slow: it took us longer to get our drinks than it did to get our food once we ordered. The sweet potato fries were ok, kinda bland unless I drenched them in butter. Caesar salad was fine: I wish there were croutons or cheese, but it's ok. The drinks though were great! If ever there was a time to show some restraint and cut my burger in half to save some for later, it was tonight. The Edge burger is a double cheeseburger, and they are BIG patties. It's only $8 during happy hour from 4 to 7. A solid value, even for those who balk at pricier burgers. It's pretty much a given that any place that gives me a pink, juicy burger cooked medium rate to order is getting 5 stars. Not a fan of American cheese, but the truffle aioli is great. I also enjoyed the truffle tots. They had the perfect flavor throughout. Sometimes the truffle can get overwhelming by the bottom, but that wasn't the case here. One son enjoyed his hot dog. The other loved his pretzel sticks. My husband loved his own edge burger. His Manhatton was solid. I had the seasonal specialty drink which was akin to a cranberry mojito. Pretty and refreshing. Went back last night to meet friends here I still give it five stars because the food is amazing but the service was really really bad!! We must've sat for seven or eight minutes before I was even asked what I wanted to drink then we waited another 15 minutes to get our drinks and the place was not busy. They actually gave us better service as the place got packed because there was live music there. Love it when we find another dog-friendly brewery, especially one with great food in relaxing surroundings! Outdoor seating available on the covered patio surrounding the building, and also on an outdoor patio adjacent to the building. Hubby and friend had a flight of 4 of their beers ($8). Both thought the stout was the best of the bunch and they both absolutely hated the saisson. I'm not a beer drinker, so I went for a blackberry mojito which was the best drink I've had all summer. Most of us opted for the Western Burger with caramelized onions, bacon & cheese--I added a fried egg to mine for $1. Messy, but well worth it. We added on excellent tots as a side for $3. And if you like deep fried pickles, they are outstanding with a very crispy panko crust over a large dill pickle with a slightly spicy deeping sauce. I am a huge fan of Live Edge! They have an amazing menu, great staff, and it is right by Olcott Beach. What a combination! I am a huge fan of their tater tots with truffle oil and Parmesan Cheese. They take something I loved as a kid and made it for the adult in me. They also have hand breaded buttermilk chicken tenders which are such a delicious compliment to the tater tots. With everything that has been happening with COVID-19 they have a great system for pickup. We were able to place the order ahead of time, drive up, and pick it up while staying in the vehicle. I am such a huge fan of this. When you are able to go in the area is open, has room for people to move around, wood plank bar tops, and it is such an inviting place. They feature their own crafted beer but also an awesome selection of other beers. Grimm, Founders...lots more. Flights are $7 if you chose their beer and $8 if you chose any of them. Live Edge is just not the same anymore. It's very hit & miss now. Sometimes it's amazing and other times it leaves a lot to be desired.

10/10 would recommend this place. Little gem in the middle of no where. Personally not a beer person (which they are known for) but even their cocktails were great,which the server said they change up often for the season. Appetizers and dinners are also great. Highly recommend the nachos and fried pickles and corn bites. I will definitley be back to try everything on the menu atleast once! read more
