Who doesn't like a good 'ole "bowling alley" type of hamburger? That's exactly what Griff's Hamburgers reminds me of. I got the Double Giant Cheeseburger and added jalapeños. Let me tell ya, it was "eyes rolling back in your head" type of good! "LARGE" means "LARGE" to these folks when it comes to the portion of fries you get when ordering the large combo. I took a gander at some onion rings that someone ordered and they looked absolutely awesome. (I'll try them next time) This place is a 'hot spot' for lunch so either get there before noon or after 12 noon because parking is limited. read more

I've visited this Griff's before, and everything was okay, but today my experience was aweome! I was discouraged when I pulled into the parking lot and saw all the cars (weekday @noon). When I got inside there was a line and the dining room was packed. They were staffed very well for the crowd. The cashiers were friendly and attentive, which helped the line move quickly. The manager was in the front preparing drinks for each order and everyone was hustling. My orders were hot, fresh and prepared correctly. I was in and out in about 10 mins. I was shocked. Kudos to the management team! They've hired a great staff and aren't too cheap to schedule adequate staff to insure guests aren't waiting excessive amounts of time for their food. Desperately seeking something, anything savory to eat at 1059 pm in the city of Mesquite, we cone across this burger place. As we pull up we can actually smell the grill and thought, "this is going to either be really good or really bad"! After ordering two #2's and one #1, we were suprised at how delicious the burgers were! Everything on the burger was fresh. The patty was straight off of the grill. The bun was crunchy on the inside (which I loved). The fries were cut small like strings which I also loved! The building is old but the inside was extremely clean. I was suprised at how the bathroom was spotless as well. I enjoyed visit and I definitely will visit again! read more

i'm not an big burger eater but when i am in the mood for one this place is one of my choices...you can tell that these burger are made fresh with real beef no fillers...the fries are ok just need to be more crunchy...i recommend the number 2 can't never finish it but it is delish...the only con i have is the staff should be more friendly other than that good burger joint!!!! read more

My worst customer service experience ever. After choir practice I normally grab tacos in the area but I elected to stop at Griff's to grab a small burger and a coke. I place my order and ask for a coke with a little ice. Order taker repeats my order 3 times, I verify it, and pull to the window. A man passes me the coke with lots of ice & I give it back and request a little ice. He gives it back the same way. I then say, I just want a little ice. Andy who is the manager says I can give it to you with no ice because I fixed it and it has a little ice. It still has too much ice for me. It's my drink right. He goes on to say he can give me a refund for the drink cause he doesn't need the attitude. He proceeds to give me the change for the order and he drops some of the change on the ground. I ask if I need to come inside to get my refund. He realizes I paid by card so he hands me a form to sign. All the while my husband is on the phone hearing the entire exchange. He's like wow, how rude is he? When I pass it back to him he drops it on the ground.He then tells me he's going to get my license # & call the police. At that point I drive off. He issued my refund and I have none of his product. I guess I was ordering while black, driving while black, and sitting in a black car. I guess it was too much for him. When does ordering what you want & paying for it constitute being rude. The order was under $4.00 and I was just trying to get a snack. Just know I will be escalating this to the corporate office, and I will never patronize Griff's ever again. If I could give zero stars I would. I just simply drove down to Whataburger & the service was stellar. read more

I wasn't expecting much from this rinky dink location, but boy was I surprised. This place is better than whataburger in my opinion. The milkshakes are way better and the patties are actually seasoned. The burgers are a good size too.
