BUYER BEWARE !!! Ordered a stem for faucet and it leaked within 1 month. Has water shooting out. I contacted customer service and they immediately said " If the faucet is left on for a long periods of time, or is hooked up to a hose with a nozzle on it for a longer period of time it will develop the leak out of the weep hole" In my situation this is NOT what happened. Like I said I've only had it for a month and never leave my faucet running. They will NOT stand by the products they sell! I plan on reply them to the BBB for the horrible customer service and awful company practices and most of all JUNK PARTS that don't last a month. read more

I had a Vortens toilet for which the tank decided it was tired and decided to completely crack and disintegrate. I searched online (and even tried AI tools) but found almost nothing to help. I sent an email to them basically asking to "pick their brains" and much to my surprise, they responded with some suggestions. After a few back and forth email messages I was able to at least figure out what I needed to search for to find what I needed. Though I never actually bought anything directly from them, they were excellent in their troubleshooting/critical thinking skills and between the two of us a product that would work as a replacement was found thru another vendor. I'm really impressed (especially in this day/age) at the mere fact that I got a reply from my initial inquiry, AND that the reply had valuable suggestions that ultimately led to my placing an order with another vendor (sadly, Grigg didn't have access to the product needed or I totally would have ordered through them.) Can't weigh in on the "F" score by BBB so while YMMV at the very least I'd suggest reaching out to them if you need plumbing help; I'm definitely "hard to please" but these guys/gals did a great job in earning my support for their service. The bathroom faucets seized up on my in-laws cabin which is very remotely located. I looked online at Grigg's catalog and selected the cartridges that I thought would work, and they were shipped promptly. When they did not look exactly the same I contacted the help desk at Grigg, and was connected with Alex B., who was gracious, professional, and extremely helpful. With a few email exchanges he established the exact parts we needed, and provided instructions to order them and return the parts that were wrong through my fault and not theirs. I had no idea they were rated an F by the Better Business Bureau but after the experience I've had with them I can believe it. The products I purchased never arrived at my house and I was basically (not literally) told it was my problem, I am a liar and go screw myself. I asked to speak to someone with customer service skills and my request was ignored. This is the worse experience I'd ever had shopping online by far. Edit: My product arrived 6 business days after it was reported as shipped. I gave them two stars instead of one because the stuff finally came and it was the right stuff. But if you have ANY problem with your order, be prepared to be told to handle it on your own. The sad thing is, if they offered me any deal or worked with me at all I would have been happy. If they refunded me or sent the parts again, I'd have only paid them again when my package actually showed up and would have been very happy that they cared about me and my broken toilet. The irony is that they could have easily been paid $20 twice for under 50 cents of parts, and had a happy customer but their mistrust and greed prevented that.. I had a wonderful experience with Grigg Industries and Alex Bentley. I needed a replacement handle for a faucet that was 15 years old. After going to the store when I had bought it and receiving no help, I went online and found Grigg Industries. I really did not want to have to replace the entire faucet. Alex Bentley, GM was able to correctly recommend the right Mansfield Toilet Lever (Metal) Replacement Product to me the very first time. I ordered three levers and they were delivered in three days. I was able to install all three units in about 20 minutes. It fit in perfectly without any bending at all. The metal lever was even better than the original nylon lever that broke after 20 years of daily use. Plus, the metal rod works more smoothly on the toilet valve. Upon further review, I have come to the conclusion that Grigg Industries is not to blame for the confusion associated with my recent order. I confirmed with Gerber Plumbing directly that the part they sell to their whole sellers and market as 99-300 is actually a Fluidmaster 400a. Of course, had thAt information been provided during the ordering process, I would have likely purchased this replacement part elsewhere for a lower price. According to Gerber Plumbing, they list this part in their catalogs for around $22, and their whole sellers get it for less than that. That shows Grigg Industries is overpriced for this item at $28, which is why I'm now comfortable giving them a 3-star rating. read more

Be advised this business is rated F (that's about as low as you can get) by the Better Business Bureau. There is very good reason for that rating. They have a track record of failing to respond to customer complaints. In my case Grigg never answered the phone or emails. It took me several months and several letters to the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs before the company finally gave me a refund of shipping charges for a part they failed to deliver. It was only $7.95 - hardly worth my effort. But I was amazed at the effort the company went to in an attempt to keep my money, and I was not going to let them get away with it. PLEASE NOTE: as of July 2011 there are 2 filtered reviews, both very negative and giving this business only one star. Why they are filtered I do not know, but if you factor them in, this business has one positive rating and 4 negative ratings, with an overall score of less than 2 stars. I felt the need to write this because I have seen a couple of negative remarks about Grigg Industries. I have a couple of Mancesa toilets which needed the tank repair kits, and from what I've found out are cheap outdated toilets. I found Grigg on the web, placed my order(which I was not able to find the parts anywhere else) and in two days received them (in Michigan). The price for shipping was also good. Decided because I had seen negative comments that you could never reach anyone for customer service that I would just give them a call and see. The first call I made the line was busy. Waited just about a minute called again. The owner answered and I had a great conversation with him thanking him for their great service and having the items that were very hard to find. Poor shipping practices, NO customer support. I ordered a replacement hydrant head assembly and a hydrant rebuild kit. All was shipped in the same flat rate shipping box, with only a small sheet of bubble wrap. This allowed the significant weight of the hydrant head to destroy the graphite packing for both the new head AND the rebuild kit. Repeated attempts to contact the company, including sending photographs of the destroyed graphite packing rings, yielded no response. I strongly advise against dealing with this company. read more

Some of the worst service I have ever experienced. I needed specific parts that this distributor had. Read the bad reviews, but figured everybody deserves second a chance. Purchased my parts on 12/23/2014. Paid with my credit card the same day. I saw that they charged me on my card, but saw no parts for weeks. I tried to call the number listed on their website, to make contact, but it was disconnected. I figured they might be working on their phones that day so I called the next day, and the next day .. still disconnected. In the mean time I send several emails in to try to reach out to Grigg Industries. I finally received an email back 1/20/2015 saying the part would have to be re-shipped? ALMOST A MONTH LATER !! I understand things may happen during shipping, but ZERO communication is unacceptable. I felt I had a great deal of patients with this company. I wrote back saying I am frustrated with the service, and the time it has taken to inform me as the customer. I asked for another seal (the part I originally ordered - but did not receive) to be shipped to me at no cost, to make up for the terrible service. I was told by Jeff "We feel your level of unhappiness and your demands are too large..." Demands? - After a month of absolutely no service, I request an additional $10 seal to be sent free of charge, and I'm told my "demand" is to large. read more
