Definitely impressed by this place. I make it out to Paducah, KY every few months and I always enjoy trying new places. This place was great, and I definitely would come back here again. My wife and I split an appetizer, a salad, and an entree. Due to personal preferences, this can sometimes be challenging. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and accommodated every request. All of her recommendations were great and the food was delicious. We ABSOLUTELY loved the muscles. I fully intend on getting them every time. We also had the ribeye. I would have to say that it was better than most, but not great. It was cooked the way we asked which is always a win in my book. Good food and great service!! read more

Everyone was super friendly from the moment we walked in the door. The girls behind the bar made some great recommendations. The filet melts in your mouth. The steak is vacuumed sealed and cooked to temp using water and then seared to perfection. Mac & cheese was absolutely a must have! My friend said the kabobs were delicious and very tender as well. Mashed potatoes were nothing special but with it being Thanksgiving weekend, it might have just been that everyone had their fill of them. We also had the stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes as appetizers. Both came with three each and tasted great! If you're a fan of either normally, try them, you should enjoy. Overall, the food was amazing and would definitely eat here again and would have a hard time not getting everything exactly the same again. Loved the decor inside as well! read more

My husband and I decided to try Grill 211 for date night. We have 4 kids so it's rare that we take a night off and enjoy a meal. We decided to give this place a try after seeing it had a zero minute wait time on Yelps Live wait. The atmosphere was cozy and the restaurant is in the downtown district. So that was a plus. We walked into the restaurant to look for the hostess station to which we ended up standing in a corridor between the bar area and the restaurant area for 10 mins. No one greeted us. We seen no sign off anyone working there aside from the bar tender. Just as we were about to walk out, the manager walked by and seated us. We had a nice corner table for two in a dimly lit area. Our waitress immediately brought our waters and explained the menu. We put in our orders and waited. Everything was fine. Except it took 30 minutes for our appetizer to get there. The restaurant continued to fill and as it did the service got worse. My husband ordered a coke. It took 15 minutes to get to the table and was flat. Same with the second. After the appetizer came out, it took another 40 minutes for our entrees to get there. Um... We both ordered steaks- to which they tell you they will not cook it any further than medium. (Seriously couldn't have taken more than 3 mins a side) Well I'm not a big rare steak fan but decided to give it a whirl since we're already seated and ordering. By the time the meals arrived, the steaks were cold. The potatoes were bland. Actually everything on the plate was bland. And the shrimp was very tough and cold. (I had the surf n turf.) At the end of the meal, the waitress came by and seen that I hadn't touched much and sent the manager. The manager said she just couldn't understand it since they have such rave reviews, and shortly after walked off rudely. Never even tried to make it right. I will not go back or recommend this place to anyone. They are unorganized, slow, and the foods not that great. The waitress only came to our table 3 times in all of our time, and the. would send someone else back with whatever we needed. I would assume if you are dining at an establishment that serves duck breast and 50$ bloody steaks that you would deserve a little more attentive service. I was wrong. I'm sure they have good days and bad days but for me that was enough. I won't be back. Too much time and money spent ($160) for such an unsatisfactory experience. read more

We sat down at 630 at the bar and were given menus. Unfortunately, there was no salmon on the menu as advertised on Facebook. Apparently, they change the menu daily and don't bother to update facebook. After deciding on the mahi for my wife and the steak tips Gorgonzola pasta for me, the bartender informed us they were out of both! I asked if they could substitute a different cut of steak in the pasta and she was unwilling to even ask the chef. My wife ordered a Paloma cocktail which seemed to throw the bartender for a loop and rather than ask us, she just guessed what was in it. It wasn't good. We asked for a check and the bartender didn't even ask us why we changed our minds about dinner or why we didn't finish our cocktail. We had high hopes based on reviews, but I guess you need to set the bar lower when eating in Paducah. read more

We were looking for a special place for my daughter's birthday dinner and this was a great choice. We were seated promptly and our server,Destiny, was very sweet and was very good. She recommended the margherta pasta dish. I did enjoy it but my wifes's rosemary potatoes and my sons ribeye were the most delicious items (I thought anyway) at our table. We tried Grill 211 last night with another couple . It's was amazing !! I had the Prime Filet & it was perfect others had Crab Cakes , Ribeye steak & Filet medallions . All portions were good , food was seasoned well & the service was outstanding . It was a little loud but it was mostly one table nearby I think . We didn't have reservations but recommend it to guarantee a table . I highly recommend this place to anyone for a night out with friends or a couples dinner . read more

We ate as a group of 7 on Grill 211 recently for my sister's bachelorette party and had a good experience overall. Due to COVID-19, I called in advance and made a reservation. Upon arrival, the staff had a hand written card ready for her which was an extremely kind gesture. The cocktails were very good and reasonably priced. They will make custom cocktails as well if you cannot find something you like on the menu. Our table was served with the homemade pork rinds which were deliciously crispy and perfectly spiced. For my main meal, I ordered the Broadway chicken which was a char grilled chicken breast topped with house smoked pork belly and Gruyere and a side of brussel sprouts and bacon. Honestly, it was a HUMONGOUS portion but the price of the meal ($26) did not live up to my expectations. I found the chicken to be over cooked and dry. My mother got the same meal I did and felt the same way about her chicken. The true star of this meal were the brussel sprouts and bacon- they were to die for and if I go back to this restaurant again that would be what I order. I also wish their menu was more gluten friendly. I had a hard time finding something that I could eat. It was disappointing that their thai fusion dishes were made with homemade semolina noodles (vs. rice noodles) because that is usually a safe bet. Lastly for being at 25% capacity- we found their service to be rather slow which seems to be a common trend at this restaurant even sans COVID. This restaurant gets 3 stars from me- minus 1 for my experience with the menu and the meal I ordered and another 1 for the service. read more

We were really looking forward to this meal and our initial impression of the restaurant was favorable super cute great location easy parking. The hostess was Friendly our server started out really well took us a bit to get our drinks they didn't have a list of the beers on tap and our server had no idea what was going on with them, but we got seated got a cocktail ordered our appetizers and then our server disappeared for a lengthy period. It took us over 2 1/2 hours to have appetizers and entrées. We were only able to order two drinks because I said our server disappeared and no one would make eye contact with us. After we got our entrées three of the four that were brought to the five top were Lukewarm at best and he clearly forgot to order our fifth entrée- after about a 10 minute wait his dinner came to the table piping hot so it's clear that that one was only recently ordered. Management never came to our table to address our concerns the hostess told us that the server was not feeling well -- which did not bring our comfort level any higher. We really wish that we could say that we enjoyed it , and we likely will never return. read more

I'm a well-travelled foodie. This place is overpriced and mediocre. Nice cocktail selection. Salad is $9. With chicken adds $20. Mine was about 4 oz of dry chicken. I cook better at home. Took forever to get just a few drinks for our table of 6. Salads came before the drinks. Food took about 1 hr and 15 min. And we had arrived at 4:45pm on a Saturday. Unbelievable that for a restaurant that charges $60+ for some entrees, the wait staff is horribly undertrained and the food is only so-so. Would never come back. read more

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Ordered the French 75 cocktail and it was served in a water glass over ice with a straw. Appetizers were ordered and all was okay (except for the cocktail) for a bit but then the server disappeared for a long time. When we did see him again we were ignored. Finally took our entree order. Apps came out. Had the mussels and pork belly. Mussels were good! Pork Belly okay. We then sat for over an hour waiting on our entrees. The rest of the restaurant cleared out around us in this time. No one checked on us. Not our server, not another server, not a manager, not the hostess that kept walking by. It was just awful. There were five of us, four of us got our food first. It was all lukewarm. I could not eat mine. My friend ordered chicken marsala, not sure what came out but it tasted like sweet and sour chicken with mushrooms on top. Our fifth got his plate ten minutes later, his food was fresh and good. Pork Loin (same that I had ordered) He was the lucky one, we assume that the server had forgotten to order his. All the other diners seemed happy but if our server was struggling management should have stepped in to help. I could never recommend or give this place a second chance. read more

By far the best meal we have had in Paducah and rivals many top restaurants we've eaten from around the world such as London, Dubai, Melbourne amongst other cities. What a gem. If you are looking for something special in Paducah, 211 is the the place. I had the 10oz filet which is PRIME beef and cooked Sous-vide to perfection and oh so good. We had the firecracker shrimp as a starter and debated the getting gator tail which another table ordered. Our starter was great and the gator looked amazing as well. Next time for the gator.
