The vegan Buddha bowl is delicious! One of the best vegan entrees I've ever had. Great service and friendly to our toddler as well.

This restaurant is part of the Westin Resort & Spa Whistler. If you're staying at the hotel I'd suggest settling the bill at the restaurant rather than signing it to your room. We charged it to the room and they added an additional food & beverages tax on top of our overall bill. The hostess and servers were friendly and welcoming. Salt Spring Island mussels: we loved the white wine broth, it was light and flavourful. BC Spot prawn spaghetti: we enjoyed the pasta, which was cooked al dente, but we weren't expecting the prawns to be so small. 10oz cab striploin: cooked perfectly rare and paired well with the roasted potatoes & veggies.

Surprised after reading the ratings from others but we had a really great meal here! The hostess was kind enough to seat us without reservation when it was packed! We loved the service and the food! We got the beet burrata and focaccia to try For the main course we shared a burger (also very good)! Great hotel restaurant!!

The service in this place is top notch, very attentive servers.we have the mushroom ravioli with fennel, tomato, mushroom broth, parmesan , the sauce was watery, it was ok but not what I expected, then got the Firerock Chicken Wings with honey garlic dip. That was really tasty. For the kids we got the fish tacos, i was surprised that was on the kids menu, it was really good, the mango salsa was yummy, adults will enjoy it too . The ambience is really nice here with a very high ceiling and nice chandeliers that give the room a very nice lighting.

Had 2 meals here Breakfast buffet - great service from waitress, good variety of food, quick service at the egg station. Dinner take out - food tasted good, pizza was large enough to have leftovers, portions good in general. Salad was fresh, however the added steelhead portion seemed on the small side. Cauliflower was tasty.

We were staying in Whistler Village and decided to have dinner at the Grill and Vine (which is in the Westin). The interior is modern and inviting. Service was really excellent. They have a good wine list although it is quite pricey. We ordered the Rodney Strong cab which was excellent. I had the mussels for an appetizer. They were really excellent. The mussels themselves were good--they were a little smoky and the white wine broth was great. I really loved the chorizo sausage and the bread them came with it--an excellent dish. For the main course I had one of the specials, tenderloin and scallops. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very good. The scallops were a little on the small side, but seared and seasoned perfectly. It came with a butternut squash puree--where I would have loved a bigger portion. For dessert I had some fruit sorbet. The mango and strawberry were both really nice. Grill and Vine is definitely worth a visit.

So this place is hit and miss. The service is excellent. The patio was lovely. The food was okay and inconsistant. The menu was fairly plain. The price was high. We went there two times because my friend owns a suite here and the dining room is 50% reduced. But after the second time we decided to grab some seafood and cook in our suite. So here is my breakdown at half off. The seafood pasta, and the mushroom pizza were really tasty and filling. We also loved the beef caparcio. What was a waste was the halibut ( it was tiny and overcooked, and the caprese salad. Honestly we felt ripped off at half off ... full price would have been 18 bucks. We barely got two spoonfuls each. And the menu was really simplified. 6ish pizzas, a hand full of of appetizers and mains and three desserts. We would have gone more but we didn't see much we liked. Get your act together Westin. For those prices you should be producing innovative and delicous food.

NO crab in this $19 crab cake.

Service was good; food was NOT! We ordered the tomato burrata salad, crab cake, and ahi tuna poke with chips,. The burrata in the salad tasted old and the tomatoes were bland. There really was no flavor to this small $21 salad. The crab cake was HORRIBLE. If there was any crab you certainly couldn't taste it with all of the filler- a huge $19 disappointment for one 'no-crab' cake. The ahi tuna poke was delicious however it did not pair well with the tortilla chips. Very disappointing.

My first morning at The Westin started off with a visit to their resident restaurant - the Grill & Vine - for breakfast. They offer a breakfast bar buffet - which includes a custom omelette bar and looks good - but is also VERY expensive - $32 to eat off the buffet! So I ordered an Omelette off the menu - the Smoked Salmon omelette - which also comes with Asparagus and goat cheese - I asked them to throw some spinach and mushrooms in - which they did. The food took a little while to come out - they were not very busy when I arrived. It took 15 minutes from the time I ordered until the food arrived. Which is not bad - but when you are hungry - it seems longer! The omelette was outstanding! About $19 and change for breakfast. While my omelette was very good, we opted for other places the rest of the week to eat breakfast that were a bit more affordable.

As always Whistler Village was busy. We were lucky enough to stay in Westin and they have this for a restaurant. Awesome restaurant, with great food and great service. During our overnight stay, we pretty much ate here from breakfast to dinner. Oh and their Margaritas was awesome too. Their server Danielle, was uber awesome, she even took our photo.

Amazing soup and salad. Carrot ginger is wonderful

Everyone was so attentive and friendly, and it just made the whole experience feel a lot more special. We went all in and got the seafood tower, Pemberton potato soup, elk, some wine, and dessert. The seafood tower was really fun to share and everything came out fresh and well done. The potato soup was super comforting, and the elk was cooked really nicely. Nothing felt like a miss. They also have a wine cellar with a ton of bottles, which was really cool to check out and added to the whole experience. It is definitely on the pricier side, but being in Whistler that kind of comes with it. Overall it felt worth it for the experience, especially with how great the service was.

It's rare to find round table for more than five people that is spacious with lots of room in between tables. We had the fixed lobster menu, which consisted of four courses. Wow, each dish wasn't beautifully presented from the Big Eye Tuna to the lobster and Pistachio Financier. The taste was very elegant. This place is great for couples as well as big groups. There's also a bar area with a real live piano player playing. This place also had the cold Vodka room if you wanted to try the experience.

Every dish was perfectly made and tasted fantastic. To start with, their bread basket - freshly made and warm with butter. The Ceasars salad was fresh and the dressing was freshly made which made the salad great. You could taste the anchovies while you have the salad. The shrimp cocktail was good, just the right amount. Our entrees were steak (don't recollect the cut) and some chicken dish. The steak was perfectly cooked to desired level and juicy. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The oysters were great with all the usual condiments. We also tried the mac and cheese and grilled chicken (which they made for us and was not on the menu - Thanks to their awesome service!). The date pudding dessert is a must try. The ambiance is quiet and cozy. Perfect for family and business dining. Now over to the service, I can tell this is the best service that we have experienced in a while. The person who helped us was awesome. We would visit Whistler just to dine again at this restaurant. Our server, Chris, was attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the evening. The lobster was excellent, and the risotto was very well prepared--though the portion was enormous and easily could have served four people. The sommelier was knowledgeable and helpful in selecting a wine. However, after our meals were served, he remained at our table chatting for much longer than was appropriate. Once guests are ready to enjoy their dinner, it's best to let them do so. Overall, the food was good and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. While the experience didn't quite wow me, it's a solid restaurant that I would consider visiting again.

They have some bar-height tables made out of some barrels - I would not sit here. Service Quality: Staff was attentive and knew the menu well. They recommend getting a wide variety of dishes since it is tapas. Menu Variety: Great selection of spanish tapas. There's fish, meat, seafood, veggies - there is something for everyone. You won't find the lesser known tapas here - just the main popular ones we all know. Food Presentation: Simple, nothing crazy here. Plated with intention. Food Taste and Quality: Food came to the table hot and fresh out of the kitchen. Some of the patatas bravas were a bit undercooked - for me there was a bit too much sauce here. They also have the shishito peppers here - even though 1 out of 10 are spicy, it was more like 5 out of 10 were spicy. Luckily they were all grilled to perfection. The cod fritters were great, would order again. Portion Sizes: You'll need to order at least 5 dishes for a table of 2. Drink Selection: Simple cocktail menu with a spanish twist to them - if you really want to call it a "spanish cocktail". Price and Value: Good value for money, priced just right.
