This is a very good small authentic Persian kabob grill. I have been here twice now. I have had their grilled chicken kabob with rice & salad & also their gyro sandwich. Everything was delicious! They have a wonderful savory vinegar green sauce condiment that they offer with their selections. They also have the equivalent of a tzatziki sauce but it does not have a garlicky, cucumber, dill flavor to it. It is much more mild but still good. This little establishment is located on the far end of the Aldi Supermarket strip mall near PartyCo. The interior is very simple: tile floor, orange painted interior with granite 2 top tables throughout with pleather seated chairs. There is an assortment of Persian memorabilia & photos on the walls for decor. The staff are very nice, polite, helpful, kind & gracious. It is tidy & clean. They did not have any discernible music piped over the PA system. They look like they have a good stream of customers during lunch & throughout the day. The prices are quite reasonable & the portions are generous. I REALLY like this place. The food is consistent, the prices are great & the staff are wonderful. This was by far the worst experience I have had with a kabob place thus far! I usually order from Grill Kabob and I love their food but tonight was embarrassing! I spent 80 dollars on an order for my family and all of the beef I ordered tasted like lamb. When I called the speak to the restaurant the man was very rude and not helpful!!!! He was talking over me and yelling at me. For someone who has worked in hospitality for 10 years I was highly offended by his behavior. He didn't offer to replace or fix anything he just wanted to argue that what I was tasting wasn't lamb. Nothing was done to gain my satisfaction. Maybe a lack of cleanliness is the issue as a lot of lamb orders are placed. Not to mention the food is tasteless and bland. I will never order from this place again! Ordered from here pre and during COVID and the quality and taste has not changed. I got the dumplings and despite the portion being ENORMOUS I ate the whole thing because it was so dang good. The green sauce is my fav and the white my fiancé's. They gave us plenty of both. The other meal was the chicken tikka and it was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The seasoned rice was amazing. Might get some extra next time. Also they called that they were out of something and exchanged it for samosas which were yummy. Overall, an excellent dinner for two. So glad we stopped here for lunch last weekend. We were looking for something different than the normal Chinese, Italian and Americana places. Everything tasted great, omg their Bread! It's huge and fresh! I had the lamb and hubby had chicken (I think). I wasn't paying attention since I was enjoying my meal more. And they used REAL dishes for the main entrée (we dined in). This place is great! The food is inexpensive (priced just right), but is so delicious and tender. The jasmine rice that they serve is also quite flavorful, I am a sucker for succulent tender meats tossed on top of perfectly cooked rice and that's exactly what the folks do. Placed an order over the phone and it SEEMED clear that I was only ordering for two people since I got a combo and said same for the next person. The guy took the phone from the girl cuz she didn't get it at first but he seemed to understand. Get there for pick up and he's trying to charge me $83 for some large order I supposedly ordered. He argued that I ordered all this food and that he wasn't lying. He was so rude about me ordering it wrong and that I was wasting his food. Um, you didn't even take my name yet you understood that I wanted $83 worth of food for two people?!?! Won't be giving you another chance but at the very least, read this and fix your ways. For your businesses sake.... I walked out. Sidenote, a quick and easy fix. To appease customers, fix the issue, make a bit of money and hopefully they'll be future patrons who rave about you, instead, you chose to be snooty, rude, and absolutely undeserving of my sympathy for the wasted food. One of the best Kabob places in Manassas that I have found so far. A lot of places have closed down but I am glad there is still one around. The facility is ok for a quick sit down and eat but not for a group of people. It is very small and not too much on the interior designing but the food is yumm! My friend and I ordered online to make things faster, and let me tell you-- it was fast. We got a call maybe 10-15 minutes later to let us know our food was nearly done. What place does that?! So when we arrived, our food was piping hot and smelled sooooo good! I ordered the Chicken Kobidah (ground chicken mixed with seasoning and onions)-- Not many places offer Chicken Kobidah and I dont know why? THIS STUFF IS #BOMBDOTCOM-- its comes with naan (not bad, a little over cooked, so it was crunchy), chickpeas (a little heavy on the spices), salad (very generic salad with an almost like italian dressing), and two sides of rice (plain white rice and a brown seasoned rice) EVERYTHING WAS GREAT TOGETHER!! My friend ordered the Chapli Kabob (Spicy Ground beef Sauteed) -- and ohhheeemmgeee--- SOOOO GOOD! The only complaint that her and I both agree on was it was a bit too oily. Now, Charcoal Chicken is name to another unrelated place further down Sudley Rd next to the new SkyZone, which serves Peruvian Chicken. Anyway, this is THE BEST Afghan food in Manassas. The price is also amazing if you come for the lunch special. $7 or so for ground beef or chicken kebab, two types of rice, salad, chickpeas, and yogurt sauce. For a lamb and chicken combo, with basmati rice, chick pea soup and bread for $12. We waited about 15 minutes for our meal. The lamb was good and only a little tough. The chicken was well seasoned and the rice was simple yet flavorful. The chickpea soup was not as good as I've had in the past. The staff was pleasant and helpful with the menu.
