Nice place for a casual night out! We stopped in yesterday on a whim after driving by this place so many times. Glad we did! They were pretty busy when we got there (around 6:15 on a Saturday), and seemed a little understaffed. It was the first nice day in quite a while so we figured that had a bit to do with the busyness. We waited for a while to first just speak to the host, and would have been grumpier except that a server greeted us and let us know that Eric would be by soon, and then he was quick to greet us when he could and let us know how long it would be. One of my biggest pet peeves is not being acknowledged upon entering/at the hostess table. Although staff was all really busy, they made sure to be as courteous as possible, which made for a good first impression. Eric even had to change our table last minute, so he offered to buy us dessert! One thing we really liked was the layout of tables in the large dining room on the side - the noise level was good and we didn't feel like we had to listen to or bump elbows with our neighbors. Oddly enough I feel like dining privacy is hard to find in a lot of establishments! Our server was attentive, all things considered, and food ordered and delivered in a timely manner. I got the Glamherst burger which I highly recommend. And we split the chocolate cream pie - like others have said, do yourself a favor and get the pie! We've been dreaming about it ever since. The food is average at best. I'm pretty sure their "creamy risotto" was made from a box mix. Chicken was overcooked and rubbery. The drinks were completely subpar, Way too much cheap sour mix was used as filler. The best part is, the owner has a Trump complex, and resorts to personal attacks on social media whenever his restaurant gets negative reviews. I want to give a shout out to 603 in Milford, my wife and I went out to dinner last night and decided to visit 603. we have never been and heard some really great reviews about it. Well we were not disappointed, we had a bit of a wait they were really busy but once we were seated and our meals arrived it was worth the wait. we started with appetizers we ordered a dish called caprese flatbread (delicious) and deep fried mozzarella cheese triangles so good. for dinner Vicky had baked stuff haddock and I had pan fried scallops with risotto. our dinners were so good. we had such a good experience, we will defiantly be going back. Food was good, nothing special. Similar to an Applebee's or 99. Service was so incredibly slow and quite honestly useless. I had multiple people at my table ask for another drink or condiments to go with their food. They do have an outdoor patio but it gets extremely buggy and dark the later you stay to eat. read more

The food was good. However, it was very disappointing to have the manager approach our table out of the blue to complain about wearing a mask during a pandemic. He stated that wearing a mask was stupid. Plus, the hostess and bartenders continued to put their masks down during our stay. I believe it is an NH mandate for restaurants to comply with mask-wearing. We will not return, nor will I ever recommend this restaurant due to their lack of empathy for humankind. read more

Used to be a great place but the last few times we went there was not enjoyable at all. Tonight we were stuck next to people cursing and swearing with no regard to there children or anyone else's and continuing to loudly discuss their very personal business again in front of everyone's children and theirs. The workers looked embarrassed and just as the people were finally getting ready to leave, the manager came out and greeted them with open arms. Every table was disgusted and when we asked why we all had to put up with it, he simply seemed as though it wasn't his problem. I imagine he has lost a few customers and even though the food is decent, the atmosphere no longer is. The restaurant is truly terrible. We have visited twice and the food was very bland. The vegetables were mealy and flavorless. The kids' meals were unappealing in both how they were plated and in flavor. We ordered 3 different kid's meals on one of the visits and only one meal was (partially) eaten. The kids didn't even want to have them boxed to bring home. The adult meals were boring as well. The pasta was stuck together and the sauce was lacking in flavor. I never post low reviews, but this was warranted. The only saving grace was the waitress. She was kind and courteous. The food was slow to come to the table- but that was the kitchen and not her fault. (But that seems to be the way it goes at this location, as the previous establishment, Chapangas, also had that problem.) Yelpers Beware: the owner has tried to contact me and harass me about a previous Yelp review. Sending me unwanted messages via FB and even mailing an "anonymous" letter to my home. I have spoken to other Yelpers and have heard that this is how he operates- carefully trying to coerce people into changing their reviews. For this reason I have changed my reasonable 3 star review to this one star review. I will not be threatened. That is not what Yelp is about. If it continues, I have no qualms about contacting our lawyer. I have contacted the creators of Yelp in regards to this. There are lots of great restaurants in Southern New Hampshire! Grill603 is one of our family favorites. I like the blue cheese and steak salad and have enjoyed other entries on their menu. The owner is very friendly and constantly checking on the guests, but in an obtrusive way. If you are looking for a casual atmosphere, and good food at a reasonable price, look no further. read more

Our first time at the 603 Grille a not the last. First our waitress was amazing. The owner stopped by and assists the wait staff. This is very nice to see. We had the Broccoli Linguine, was amazing and cooked to perfection. Haddock with imperial stuffing, light, fresh, and flakey. Excellent Surf and Turf was again perfect , after some laughing about the need of steak sauce with the owner, it needed nothing but a fork and knife. Tender and delicious. The Grilled Pork Chops were tasty and cooked to perfection. All the sides where also excellent, from asparagus to a vegetable medley and mashed potatoes. To top off the dinner we took home the homemade chocolate cream pie. They said it was like grandma used to make. And they didn't lie. It's very rich and filling. We were very unsure as the last place there was a dive. DO NOT BE AFRAID it's amazing. Very nice to have a local place to go that's worth the very fair prices. read more

We went there for the first time last night and were very pleased. We had been hesitant because the old restaurant at that location was mediocre. We started with calamari to share. It was crisp, perfectly cooked, and served piping hot. The dipping marinara was nothing to write home about, but the calamari itself was well above average. All three of our entrees were served hot, and each was quite delicious. The steak frites was perfectly cooked, and the fires were crisps and well seasoned. The linguine was really quite unique...the cream sauce was spiced just right. The special scallops were beautifully seared and the parmesan risotto was yummy, if a bit al dente. All-in-all, the food was delicious and attention to detail was evident. There was not a single frozen or processed item in view in the restaurant. We will be going back. read more

We originally gave this a great review, but after a few more tries, we are not in love. The bread pudding is fantastic. Almost as good as My Sister's Place. Almost. The French onion soup tastes weird. There are no vegetarian options for dinner. The chicken pot pie special is lazy with the filling in a bowl with a puff pastry. No pie. I expressed my surprise and the waiter chastised me because everyone else thought it was great according to him. I get the lie for the crust. My advice is to sit in the outer dining room. We went in for an early dinner on a Sunday. We ordered a couple of waters, a Diet Coke and a couple of beers. The waitress was nice, brought our drinks out in a timely fashion. We ordered a few meals, a burger with mushrooms and swiss, the poutine, and a broccoli chicken pasta. The food was terrible. The burger, advertised as mushroom and swiss, probably should have had more than 4 tiny slices of dried out mushroom on it. It probably also shouldn't have tasted like the frozen patties you get at market basket. Not for 11 Bucks. The poutine was probably the worst we've had. Melting cheddar cheese on some frozen french fries and pouring salty canned or bagged gravy on top is not poutine. I have no specific comments on the pasta, because I didnt try it, but the person at the table who did, ate three bites and said it wasnt good., Our waitress found some regulars to chat with at the bar, and never returned to the table. It was 96 degrees outside, and the pregnant lady at our table was left with nothing to drink for the majority of our visit. when we were finished eating, she never returned to take away our empty plates and we were left staring at a bunch of food we didnt like looking at the first time. eventually the bartender came and cleared our plates. read more

Figured my family and I would try this spot since we live close by and it had good reviews. Unfortunately we were pretty unimpressed. The food was either bland or burnt. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was okay but nothing special. My five year old ordered the kids mac and cheese and she took one bite and didn't like it. I tried it and it had no taste. I took it home and added my own shredded cheese just to give it some flavor. My sister got the mozzarella triangles and chicken tenders and both were very dark and unappetizing. First time eating here with the new ownership. We had Sunday brunch with three adults and three toddlers. The staff was very accommodating and the food was well prepared and of decent quality. Leaving off the last star and echoing a previous review as the flavors of all the dishes were bland. This is my daughters favorite restaurant. She has developed very good taste. I no longer have to go for fast food but delicious food from scratch. On our last visit I had the baa baa burger, cooked to perfection. The bun was substantial holding the deliciousness altogether. The burger was topped with the finest feta, tomatoes, lettuce and red onion. The fries were crisp and hot. My daughter had her usual, chicken fingers and fries with honey mustard dipping sauce. Calamari is very good, very tender but not chewy! Great sauce that comes with it. Crispy tangy you won't regret it ! bruh this place was so overpriced it's insane. i got one burger and it was $17 like are you kidding me, they only gave me like 10 fries. like the burger and fries tasted good but not 17 dollars good. my friends got mac and cheese and the cheese was like water. we got something called mozzarella triangles or something like that? we got like 4 triangles and it was like 9 dollars. the service was decent enough, maybe a bit slow but they were also pretty busy so whatever. all our orders came correctly, maybe one steak was a little overcooked but overall it was correct, just horribly overpriced and not very good read more

Service was virtually non existent but there was one rude waitress. Nobody came over to take an order unless called and that was welcomed with an upset attitude which was very obvious. The management needs to reevaluate itself and learn about customer service. The food was good but service should never be so slow. First impression is important and everyone is human but a customer shouldn't have to have such an experience. While I hope this was an isolated incident and a place shouldn't be judged permanently based on one person's attitude, management should be more professional and not send me rude and unprofessional messages because they received a honest review. Everyone is entitled to their opinion especially when it's truthful. Hopefully they change and learn from the errors as anyone should. I'd like to add that the greeter was not in question as she was very polite and so was another waitress. Again the person who was rude was a waitress only and nobody else. Everyone is human and hopefully they learn from their mistakes and I wish this business a very prosperous future. My husband got the bourbon steak tips and the meat was smelly and had gone bad. He then ordered the burger which was half decent and did not get that order for free even though I had long finished my mediocre rack of lamb and undercooked wild rice. Went the other night as we heard it was good. Started with a nice local IPA Great Northern, excellent , hoppy and crisp! Had some chicken wing with hot sauce, pretty good wings. Unfortunately the server took our order for dinner the same time and they both came out at the same time( Mother's Day was probably a zoo so they just had not settled down. Dinner came .... one large Greek salad and one fish and chips. Fish and chips was very good, lots of well fried haddock and fries. The salad was large and very good. A grilled chicken Ruben sounds delicious right...but boy was I wrong. Very bland, tasteless, and rubber. I hate this review. We love supporting local businesses and always cheer for them to succeed. Our recent visit to Grill 603 was just not a good one in terms of service, food quality and overall experience. We visited on a Tuesday after picking up 2 hungry kids from their afterschool program. It was a long work day and I didn't feel like cooking. Grill 603 is a short jump from the school and we've been meaning to try it after the change in ownership. We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant at about 6:10 PM with another couple coming in behind us. The bar had a few patrons who appeared to be regulars. We didn't wait for a long time, but a good 2 minutes went by before Server 1 came out of the kitchen from behind the bar. She appeared surprised to see 2 parties waiting at the door and gave one of the bar regulars a look...who in return gave a little chuckle. I have a guess or two about what that exchange meant but as I don't read minds, I'll leave it open to interpretation. Our initial impression was that the restaurant has a very fast food feel that didn't impress. However we're all about the food so we were still excited to give it a try. We were seated and drink orders were taken by Server 1. She was gone several minutes when Server 2 appeared and attempted to re-take our drink order. Drinks arrived and dinner orders were taken - appetizer wings of the day, 2 mac and cheese kids meals with fries, fish and chips, and the "heart attack" burger. The wing special, which was bourbon-something, was pretty good. The wings were plump and juicy, and the sauce was tasty. However we did order them "average" spice yet they were borderline too spicy for me (and I put Sambol on everything!). The kids wouldn't touch them, and I could only eat a couple. The wings were still the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately within minutes of our wings arriving, the entrees started coming out. The timing was way off. So we're straddling appetizer plates and entrée plates and baskets of fries and full drink glasses and empty drink glasses. The husband and I each finished the wings we were eating, I consolidated the remaining wings on a small plate and as both servers were MIA, we bussed our own table by putting empty plates/glasses on an empty table behind us. Now for the meals...we were unimpressed across the board. Their "gourmet fries" arrived hot but were nothing more than thicker cut frozen French fries. I'm not sure what makes them gourmet. There wasn't even some type of interesting seasoning on them to set them apart. The kids ate some of the mac and cheese but mostly just ate fries. I tried the pasta and it was not very good. I think maybe they only use cheddar, which makes for a very grainy sauce with a tendency to separate. It was dry and under seasoned. My Fish and Chips entrée was different. It had the same "gourmet" fries (not gourmet). The fish consisted of large cubes of lightly breaded haddock chunks rather than the typical filets. The fish was fairly moist so that's good. I'm not used to Carolina style breading so I wasn't expecting the light, dry coating they use. It might have been good but it had absolutely no seasoning so it wasn't. My husband's Heart Attack burger was just terrible. It was a giant mess of a burger, which I guess is what they were going for with that title. It was sloppily put together and impossible to eat. He also didn't cut into it right away because we were still trying to finish the appetizer wings, organize the kids with their meals and bus our own table. When he finally did cut into it, the medium burger patties he ordered were well done and bone dry. The servers were scarce and by this time we were just ready to leave so he ate a few bites and the rest came home with us as food for our chickens (as did the mac and cheese, fries and half of the fish). Side note, as it's a huge pet peeve of mine, the salt/pepper shakers and ketchup bottle on the table were greasy and gross from being picked up and used by many other greasy hands. It's a real turn off. We did get to go boxes, but again, the servers disappeared after providing them so we continued to move plates over to the spare table ourselves (where the earlier plates from our appetizer round still sat, uncollected). I've heard their seafood specials are very good so maybe that's where they shine. Unfortunately based on our experience - food, service and atmosphere - we have no desire to return. My husband and I have been there twice, mainly for burgers but my husband got a buffalo chicken sandwich today. I had been hesitant to try this place but I would encourage you to. The Glamherst burger is great. My husband was impressed with the buffalo chicken- it wasn't smothered in nasty sauce and it had bleu cheese crumbles on top. We have both enjoyed our food each time. Not the fanciest place but good when you need a bite. Update: we have been several more times and it has always been great. Not sure why it only has 3 stars. The tips were cooked perfectly, but then drenched in the bourbon sauce that was way over powering.the maple bacon rissotto tasted like basic, plain rissotto.
