Chicken Shawarma Wrap and Lamb Gyro (Wrap)

Delicious flavorful food. Great and friendly service. Definitely recommend the chicken and lamb wraps. Loaded with lots of protein. Restaurants ambience was amazing. Will be coming back.

Chicken shawarma.

I tried out their chicken shawarma. It was pretty good. The chicken was great. It's not the best I've had and it is not the worst. I would say it is better than most. I can't give it a higer rating because I had another chicken shawarma from a different place the very next day and that was a lot more memorable.

Run don't walk to Grillo on Reseda Blvd for some delicious juicy yummy affordable food. I ordered a chicken Shawarma , probably the juiciest tastiest one I've ever had and it's huge , I ordered 2 Kibbe - amazing and fresh! A spinach pie triangle and a meat pie - does not disappoint . Generous portions affordable food go check them out - I know I will be back again and and again . Lots of spacious seating inside park in the back - Oh and friendly quick customer service with a smile!

Grillo Shawarma and Kebab Restaurant has amazing food! The kebab was juicy and delicious, service was great, and everything was very clean. Generous portions and great prices. Highly recommend!

Just so happen to be sitting across the street drinking a Four Loko and I saw the sign lit up and decided to try some kebabs. Turns out it was a good decision. I got the beef kebab dinner plate with french fries and hummus. Serve with naan bread. I imagine the hummus was amazing. None was perfect. The french fries were crispy and delicious service was immediate cause nobody else was in there. It was about 10 minutes until closing and I kept them open past hours but I tip well so it was OK. I had a couple of sauces on the tray and the dark one was hot and delicious. I had a spice to the meat. I ended up eating all of the naan bread and dip my fries, the hummus. It was so good. I'll go back next time. I got a hankering for some kebabs.

Chicken Lule Kabob Plate

Grilled chicken was good, the ground chicken kebab was a bit tough like it was made prior and reheated. The biggest detractor was the Toum garlic sauce was very flavorless and close to just a mayonnaise flavor wise. Also the eurobeat trance was a bit much at 100% volume lol.

Offers

Under new management I think. Family run business that serves great food and portions. Freshly made to order and got some great offers. All meat is halal. Great find for authentic swarma and kabobs and much more

Chicken Shawarma Wrap

My husband and I were in the area around Reseda and Roscoe and had time to kill before my appointment. I found Grillo's on Google Maps and decided to try this place out. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived. It was nicely decorated with Arabic music playing on one of the tv's. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap. My husband ordered the chicken shawarma loaded fries. The wait was bit longer than I expected. If you are pressed for time you may need to order ahead. Both the wrap and the loaded fries were huge. That's great when you haven't eaten all morning. That's the only way I even got through half of the wrap. My husband barely got through of the loaded fries. And I helped with some of the fries. Getting a lot of food for the money is terrific but I was more interested in how the food tasted. In my humble opinion the food was absolutely delicious. The char on the meat along with the seasonings was amazing. The sauce on the loaded fries made these the best loaded fries I've ever had. I can't wait to return. If you live or work in the area please try them out. You won't regret it. I don't live nearby and I definitely want this place to be there when I'm back in the vicinity.

Delicious food and very good service. New in town definitely recommend you won't regret it.

Big Ajarski with fresh eggs and cheese, super yummy and fine quality Dough not hard on the teeth, affordable $4.99

Wow!! Excellent reasonably priced food and bakery , with fine quality. If you haven't been to this restaurant, definitely, I recommend it. Really cheap. There's no need to go to Anaheim anymore and drive all the way to get a similar quality, this is even a finer quality. I was fascinated by our order, so I ordered more Ajraski and mna'eesh zataar to go. Can't beat up the price. Great breakfast, snacks, air lunch for the kids. Our order Came with a generous cheese bakery, really fine quality. The samoosik/samosa was genoursly filled with fine quality clean halal meat, so you don't have to worry about the viruses that coming up often and all of that hormone treatment. The Cauliflower plate with Middle Eastern salad was done at its best! Over all it is the best of the best quality at an affordable prices

I spent 70 dollars on two plates of food. Did I think it was more expensive that the location and establishment warranted? Sure-but that's not the problem here. I brought my food home. The Koobideh was unevenly cooked. Some places barely cooked some places burned. My "filet mignon" had a chunky mushy substance on it. I can't even begin to tell you what it was other than it did not belong in my food. But this is still not the reason for my one star. The rice itself had a bad odor ( I'm middle eastern I've had plenty of rice both good and bad in my life but this was different). After a few bites I realized it was MOLD! It doesn't really come though in the pictures but by the taste and mouthfeel it was 10000% mold. ALSOOOOOOO THERE IS A 3% fee to use a credit card. Prices listed on menu are cash prices.

Three of them have two chairs each, while the others have 4 chairs. The menu is laminated and comes with numerous mediterranean dishes, and yes, there are kabobs. I chose the beef lule kabob entree, that comes with two minced kabobs, rice, grilled tomato, jalapeno and a very small cucumber tomato salad, some hummus too, all plated together. I also ordered their thick yoghurt with shallots to accompany the menu item. The Kabobs were grilled to order, could have used more flavor and were slightly overcooked. Overall, the components blended harmoniously. What stood out was their pita bread, grilled just right and so pillow soft on the inside. That with the yoghurt was absolutely divine. There was also a starter that came with the dish. I chose the lentil soup over the salad. Wow, an excellent selection. The perfect temperature, a nice mix of spices, warm aroma, enticing flavor and tongue feel. This introduction may have surpassed the rest that was to follow. I would go there specially to get the lentil soup alone, to go. Service here was high class, attentive and friendly. Definitely, worth a repeat visit.

My favorites are their kabobs and different modifications (think sour berries) of generous amounts of basmati rice that accompany their entrees. The Mast O' Mooseer (yoghurt with shallots) is another of my must haves. Generally, I always get the koobideh kabob to go, but this time, I was in the mood to sit down and have some chunks of meat. I chose the Shish Kabob, which is advertised as grilled filet mignon pieces. The restaurant prepares it medium well and past experience revealed it to be dry and tough. So I asked for it medium rare, for the first time. The dish that came to my table had marvelous optics. The beef was well charred, had an intoxicating aroma and well distributed coloring amongst the seven generous pieces. But there were a few problems. For one, I could not comfortably cut into the beef without using excess force, and shredding it. I asked for a sharper (steak) knife and was told that was all they had. While the meat was juicy, it was extremely chewy. I even questioned whether it was filet mignon, because it did not look and behave like it. I was told it was. If that was the case, could it have been a bad cut? This substantiates why I am leery about ordering meat pieces. Amongst the other items, the thick creamy yoghurt did not disappoint. Same with the grilled onion and tomato. The saffron rice is always fluffy and abundant. The green salad was crisp and refreshing. Take home message? Looks like I will have to skip the Shish Kabob and stick only with the koobideh, if I am ever in the mood for skewered grilled beef.
