    Soggy Fattoush Salad

Taking off a star due to the new people (guy and a girl) working the counter here. You can tell neither of them care. Very nonchalant and dismissive and definitely showed me that they are not going out of their way to accommodate. The owners who usually work there are so kind and attentive. These two new workers were both completely not accommodating. I will not come back here if I have this experience again bc I usually spend about $50 on my meal just for me so I expect mindful customer service. My salad was soggy since they put it in the bag with hot food and fries undercooked . This is the 2nd time I've had to throw a soggy salad away from here.

Such a solid Mediterranean restaurant! In heart of Porter ranch.. when my little sis said I want Mediterranean I said this is the place. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy plenty of parking, fair prices, and seriously yummy food. I had the chicken shawarma sandwich and she enjoyed chicken Mediterranean plate. I didn't get many pictures, but trust me, the dessert alone was worth it The owner and waiters were all nice and made us feel welcomed. Great food, great value, and great people. Highly recommend! And we will be back!

OMGeeee! Mediterranean Bistro is a true neighborhood gem that feels like coming home the moment you walk in. The hot and cold appetizers are delicious, fresh, and wonderfully authentic, while the dishes throughout the menu are an exquisite combination of Lebanese and Armenian styles, blending bold flavors with comforting tradition. The entrées are equally impressive, expertly prepared and deeply satisfying. To finish, the old-school coffee and dessert add the perfect nostalgic touch. Combined with fantastic customer service that makes every guest feel welcome, this is the kind of place you look forward to returning to again and again. Can't wait to go back. Yalla ... 'till next time.

What can I say, OMG Yummy . Chicken Kabob , cabbage salad , ice tea and ambiance perfect. So delicious. We came after a Tony Robbin's virtual event. A Must Try! Saturday they have such pleasant music. Come enjoy a good family time. I'll return when in the Area. Open a location in OC.

Firstly, the interior is…read morewell-decorated and spacious and the ambiance is excellent and our server said that the menu is part Persian inspired. Most importantly, the food was the greatest ever. My family would have been fine with just the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant-- it was hearty and creamy and garlicky, everything I have ever wanted in a dish. But of course, we ordered the super combo due to our hubris and paid the price (we took a bunch of boxes). They are not kidding when they say the Super Combo feeds 4-5, they must be talking about 4-5 men in their early 20s because it was way too much for us. Assuming you eat all the salad and rice and the bed if bread the meat is served on, I can imagine this feeding more than 5 people. It is truly the most value item on the menu, should you have the personnel to take it on. Highly recommended for anyone who likes mediterranean food! Try the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant!!

My favorites are their kabobs and different modifications (think sour berries) of generous amounts of basmati rice that accompany their entrees. The Mast O' Mooseer (yoghurt with shallots) is another of my must haves. Generally, I always get the koobideh kabob to go, but this time, I was in the mood to sit down and have some chunks of meat. I chose the Shish Kabob, which is advertised as grilled filet mignon pieces. The restaurant prepares it medium well and past experience revealed it to be dry and tough. So I asked for it medium rare, for the first time. The dish that came to my table had marvelous optics. The beef was well charred, had an intoxicating aroma and well distributed coloring amongst the seven generous pieces. But there were a few problems. For one, I could not comfortably cut into the beef without using excess force, and shredding it. I asked for a sharper (steak) knife and was told that was all they had. While the meat was juicy, it was extremely chewy. I even questioned whether it was filet mignon, because it did not look and behave like it. I was told it was. If that was the case, could it have been a bad cut? This substantiates why I am leery about ordering meat pieces. Amongst the other items, the thick creamy yoghurt did not disappoint. Same with the grilled onion and tomato. The saffron rice is always fluffy and abundant. The green salad was crisp and refreshing. Take home message? Looks like I will have to skip the Shish Kabob and stick only with the koobideh, if I am ever in the mood for skewered grilled beef.

Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. It was awfully nice, and unexpected, to get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal...2 generous sized pieces which were pretty indulgent and eliminated the need to get (and pay for) dessert there or anywhere else. Service was lovely...the manager or owner took care of us and made us feel he was truly grateful that we were there. It's also a hookah spot...so if you're not into that vibe or smoke of any kind, (I'm not really) you'll definitely smell that anywhere you are in the restaurant, even if you're not seated next to those using hookahs. If you've got a hankering for Mediterranean...especially a place that has some unique things not at other Mediterranean spots, definitely give Pi on Sunset a shot.

The fries were even worse, they tasted stale, like they were at least a day or two old, and had that chewy, reheated texture instead of being crispy. Definitely not something anyone would want to eat.

So I ordered 3 Gyro meals. Lamb, chicken, and beef with the combo meal fries and drink. For the 3 sandwiches with each of them having a side of small fries and small drink I paid $71.29 for the entire order which is crazy in itself but the real crime was the food here, I am surprised how this place is been running business this whole time. First thing you do when you sit in a car? Take a few bites of the fries, and let me tell you that shit got stuck in my throat from how dry and nasty it was absolutely no SALT on any of the sandwiches and or fries... We all know salt makes everything more delicious and we had none of it. Me and 2 of my guests all had complaints on how unsalted and bland the food was. Also with a gyro usually you need a garlic sauce aka white sauce for my New Yorkers, they tried to charge me $5.90 for a SMALL plastic side of garlic sauce for my $20 sandwich. Save your money head over to Pita Pocket or any other gyro spots cuz this ain't it. It's really not hard to get a gyro down. Trader Joes also has a box of gyro meat you can buy make at home and I did once and it was WAYYYY better then this place lol. This place gets 0 stars for charging customers $20+ for a freaking combo meal that doesn't even include a garlic sauce.
