The installers were neat, courteous and professional. We were pleasantly surprised how quickly the doors arrived and how swiftly the installers put them in. Fast-forward three and a half weeks, they finally show up only to realize their 300-pound sheet of glass couldn't make it up the stairs. Why? They only measured the bathroom--never considered how they'd get the glass inside. After struggling to haul it up the stairs, they left, came back the next day, and failed again. By the third attempt, they promised to order a new sheet directly from the manufacturer, but after an extra week with no update, I started calling. No answer, no returned calls. I finally had to drive down to their office, and when I called from the parking lot, I watched as the phone rang out--then walked in to find multiple employees sitting around doing nothing. They claimed they'd been meaning to reach out but hadn't called my contractor back, either. Now, we're on their fourth attempt, and I've missed work five times waiting on them. They still don't know where the glass is or when they'll actually install it. Like we're supposed to have no jobs or lives. Then, on the morning of their supposed final attempt, I spoke to Jeanne, the owner. After messing up this job four times, she tells me she's "done coming out of pocket" for their incompetence. She had already decided to refund my money--and then hung up on me. After a month and a half of this circus and five no-show appointments, she just decides to bail and leave me hanging. Jeanne has to be one of the most disrespectful business owners I've ever encountered. Not only was their scheduling and communication a total joke, but they sent people who weren't even capable of handling the installation. For this company to ghost me for two months and then cancel the job outright is beyond outrageous. My contractor and I are both African American, and while I didn't want to believe that was a factor, after dealing with this company, I'm not so sure. Since moving back into a marginalized community, I've seen this attitude more than once--people assume there's a lack of knowledge or professionalism on our end. But here's the reality: I own a business myself, and I can assure you this level of incompetence and blatant disrespect is unacceptable. They talk like they're professionals, but it's all smoke and mirrors. Avoid this company at all costs.

Also, they were to power wash my deck and seal it. The windows needed special attention because spiders build webs in the windows then poop all over them. It's really gross, and I especially hired Grime Busters to take care of this problem. I specified this as the reason I was getting my house pressure washed. As such, I was told to remove all of my window screens to ensure the best results. So when they were finished, imagine my anger when I looked in my upstairs window and it looked as if water hadn't touched the window at all. OK. We all make careless mistakes. I called and someone came back out to inspect the job of the previous person. Agreed they didn't do a good job, but he didn't come back with a pressure washer to fix the problem! He asked me to use my pressure washer...uhh, WHAT? That's not all. The original washer also left whole areas of my deck unwashed then sealed over them. You could look and tell the angle he washed the stairs and balusters - imagine the sun casting a shadow is the best way I can describe it. So of course when he sealed the deck, whole areas of the deck didn't get sealed, because they weren't washed properly. I was also told the seal would last (assuming proper washing, of course) for 3-5 years. Even on the areas I felt were properly washed, rain water stopped beading on the deck within weeks. The last thing is they were to restain my white deck railings, and they did this, but sloppily. I have white wood railings on white (pvc? plastic-like) balusters. The white stain for the wood can be seen on the plastic -like balusters. In all, while I appreciated their attitude and they were very respectful, I paid $2500 to have a job done well and it was not. And returning without the equipment to correct the problem was pretty inexcusable.

I very highly recommend Centurion Tree Experts. We had a very tall tree (75-100 feet) that had…read morerotted at the bottom. The tree buckled about 12 feet or so above the base during a storm, but the top was the caught up in the surrounding trees which prevented it from falling to the ground. The tree was just hanging onto other trees with very little support at the base. This was a dangerous and complicated situation to deal with. Centurion safely brought the tree down using their experience and expertise. The precision they used to have the tree fall in a safe location was amazing to watch. We are so happy we found Centurion and will be contacting them for any future tree service needs.
