Fresh and tasty, with a nice variety of ingredients. The dressing was a bit too sweet, but still enjoyable.

It is very intimidating going to local cafes other than big chain restaurants because most of the time drinks are not to the expectation, but THIS place is AMAZING!!! I tried their seasonal Love Shack Latte, delicious deliciousness! At first when we walked in we weren't greeted which was okay, but the lady that took our order turned around our first experience and made us very comfortable. The restaurant was clean and smelled like a real cafe.

I first checked out their menu online and saw several drink specials I was interested in trying, so we stopped in for a late morning coffee on a Saturday. The menu is posted on a large chalkboard right when you walk inside, and I scanned it looking for the specialty coffees, but it appears that they are not posted. I had to scramble to pull up the website on my phone to see what drink I wanted to order. I wish all of the drink options were posted prominently for ease of ordering in person. They have a few vegan/vegetarian options, so it was awesome that they had a unique sandwich option we were able to try. My coffee was delicious, and I can't wait to try another one from here.

I think previously we had ordered the wrong things. I've been back twice since and both times my coffee and food was delicious. But the service... so good. So polite. Maybe TOO polite. Was there with a friend. They started to clean AROUND us. No biggie. But then they gently informed us they were actually closed. #palmtoforehead We're jerks. Lol!

Little places, gems like this, keep me sane as I moved back to the region from Chicago. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Got a chicken salad, on a croissant and a cappuccino. Both excellent. The service was friendly and I love the feel of the place, even the heavy metal music in the background somehow adds to the experience, and I really don't enjoy heavy metal!

We have been coming to Grindhouse since 2017 and it's still my favorite go-to coffee shop when I'm in town! Their scones are the best. My all-time favorite is the almond poppyseed which is not available all of the time, but their regular scones (cranberry oat, maple pecan, and chocolate chip) are all delicious! Their sandwiches are great. The coffee and espresso drinks are a little strong, but smooth. They have plenty of drink options and the seasonal drinks are so good! You really can't go wrong at Grindhouse!

Best coffee in Northwest Indiana! Small Town Coffee in crown point is also excellent. Grindhouse has great coffee AND food. You can go wrong here! My favorites are: * The Turkey Doló on croissant * The Chicken Salad on croissant * The chicken sammich

Decided to try the Griffith location because my friend raved over it. I ordered a caramel frappe and a caramel iced coffee and they were delicious. The caramel is a cream based and so we felt no extra cream was needed. The iced coffee is delicious on it's own and a little on the strong side so I recommend cream to those who don't want it as strong. I would compare the taste of the frappe to the cappuccino blast from dunkin.

Great place for a good meal on the road. Service was awesome and everything was explained well. Will be a go to place in Indy for healthy food.

Grindhouse has been a local go to for me in Griffith when visiting family for as long as I can remember! I love the atmosphere of the shop and the variety of drink choices. My absolute FAVORITE is the Prickly Pear Lemonade...it is a party in a cup. So good. So refreshing. 11/10 from me! If I'm craving a bite to eat I'll normally grab a scone if they have some and those are also delicious. They are currently operating as grab and go, so you can't sit inside and enjoy your drink. But I would rather keep the community safe and walk around Broad Street with my drink! Grindhouse is a must visit in Griffith! Support local y'all!

My significant other and I were told we could sit anywhere we wanted. I ordered a Diet Pepsi and a Coffee to start with. For food, I ordered Chicken Fajitas. They came with rice and tortillas salsa and sour cream. The Diet Pepsi was refreshing and tasty. They only gave me one free refill. The menu didn't show that restriction, so I think they should state that on there. I had to drink the complimentary water, because of that inconvenience. The water was okay, but another Diet Pepsi would have been satisfactory considering they were served in small cups. The Coffee was alright. It wasn't anything special and when I tried it with the Premium Cane Sugar packets, it didn't help too much. I got one refill on the Coffee and luckily it didn't cost extra for it, considering it was just alright. The Fajitas came in a plentiful serving! I was hoping that they would redeem themselves with these and they pretty much did. I was satisfied with the rice. The salsa and sour cream amplified the Fajitas to their full potential I'd say! The whole ensemble was solid. The service was acceptable throughout our visit. Our server brought us everything fairly fast. Overall, this place was a little over average. There wasn't anything that blew my mind. It was a local spot, so maybe I'll give them another try someday. Date of visit: 24-Feb-2023

I arrived only to find one lone employee. I placed an order for the webpage to be told what I ordered was not served anymore an he pointed to a small chalkboard with spot 5 items on it. So I ordered a panini (salami, mozzarella, and roasted red pepper). It was not made with care...and tasted that way. I didn't finish it - it wasn't good. Never eating there again.

I saw Kyle V's review and figured it was a good bet as I trust him! The parking lot is a little small but we found space and were welcomed in right away. The menu is massive with tons of options and customizations etc. so it was a little overwhelming, but I went with the melted pot skillet (ham, bacon, sausage, onions, American fries, cheese, and three eggs, served with toast). Nate got an omelette with cottage fries (fried sliced potato rounds) and silver dollar pancakes. The food came out super quickly and the portions were massive. We definitely could have shared one item, but I was pretty hungry. The skillet was very savory and cheesy, and the eggs were perfectly over-medium. I had a bit of Nate's pancakes, and they were fluffy and light. Four meals + tip was around $70 which I thought was very good especially given how much food we got. The menu also includes lots of lunch options, and check the specials board in front for features. Thanks, Kyle V!
