Stopped here waiting for my flight - was in the mood for wings and saw that they had them on the menu. This was a typical airport style ordering system where you order via QR code on the table and go from there. The seating area was cool with Grizzlies decor around. The service was fine and the wings were good. The fries weren't anything amazing but they were basic fries with a pretty good seasoning on them (didn't need any condiments with them). All in all I don't understand the super low rating for these guys. I had zero issues, the service was good and the food was fine. It's an airport restaurant, so if you're expecting a super high quality 5-star experience, you're just setting yourself up to be disappointed. I would go here again. read more

Super disappointed with this spot. $70 for 3 warm drinks and a beer that never came. we came in before our flight, ordered drinks on a QR code the server said she would make available for us. tried to order and couldn't, had to remind her to open it for us. ordered drinks, didn't get them for 30 minutes after we asked about them. our flight was about to board and i asked to just cancel our order so we can go. she said she had them ready (they'd been sitting at the bar the whole time, she just didn't bring them to us) we were still waiting on a bottled beer. she never brought it, and we ended up leaving. i wish i woudlve just canceled the order! as we left people at the bar were angry saying "goodluck on getting a drink" so i guess we were lucky we got 3/4 we ordered after 30 minutes. Ordering system didn't work. Waitress was inattentive. Sorry table, never cleaned from last guest. Salad came out immediately, sandwiches 15 minutes later, unacceptable at an airport. Chicken in salad was raw. I asked them to take it off the bill. They said no since my daughter ate it. I told them she stopped when she saw the chicken was raw. They said they needed a manager. I waited another 10 minutes. Wordlessly the manager fixed the bill. No apology, nothing. I should report to the health department. I hope my daughter doesn't get sick. Overall disgusted. read more

Sat down at the bar. Bartender asked me to put my luggage behind me and about 10 feet away despite everyone else having their belongings with them at the bar. Forced to eat at the airport we searched for the best option (with a bar). The Grizz has a full bar, plenty of sports options on the TV's and nice service. They have local beers and most spirits and a decent bar menu. I went with their double burger with brisket and wiz which was good by airport standards and the crispy swet fries were perfection. Moni went with their Salmon Cobb, which was good by bar standards. This is a great choice for dealing with all the recent flight delays if stuck in Memphis. Absolutely the worst airport grill/bar I've had the misfortune to try to eat at in all my travels. Ordered a burger from their QR code menu. It REQUIRED me to add bacon as a $3 "optional extra". I paid, and it had added $3.50 for a compulsory coffee. Five minutes later my unfriendly waiter tells me that they don't serve burgers in the morning. Thing is, he also tells me there's a) no way to tell that from the menu and b) he can't refund me without a receipt... which still hasn't shown up three hours later in my email. So now I sit for 15 minutes waiting for a manager to come and refund me... except she can't without my email receipt. After another 5 minutes she agrees to refund based on taking a photo of my credit card charge. Avoid at all costs. read more

Grizz grill at Memphis airport has absolutely the worst airport food I've ever experienced. I tried the smoked sausage appetizer and it was dried out, like it had been cooked and left out on the counter for hours. I paid $17 for something inedible. I just left it. And there was a problem with their ordering and payment system. It's done online. But when I started to leave I was stopped because he said it wasn't paid. So I paid through him. Now it shows up twice in my bank app under pending payments. Give this place a wide berth. Ordered the cheeseburger and asked for the impossible patty as a substitute (was listed on the menu as a $1.50 upgrade). Waitress was confused but put the order in. When my food came out it was literally the bun w/ lettuce, tomato & onion. Had flight canceled and rebooked much later. Decided to grab a bite and this was the choice. Oh was I WRONG.I sit down and order coffee and get a menu. Was told lunch only at 9:40 am. The menu said breakfast until 10, nope not when Bill my server got sirly with me about the time. I then ordered the pulled pork sandwich, considering I was in MEMPHIS! I waited 32 minutes to get what looked like. Pork sandwich. The texas toast was toasted on one slice the other was soggy dough substance, no pickles, and a teaspoon of gross coleslaw. I have had better pulled pork in Fargo ND. This place should be ashamed to serve the garbage they served me. Then to top it off, FULL PRICE , for something I would feel guilty giving a stray dog.
