    Corner Cobb

The salads were great and the prices were very reasonable. The portions are large and worth the price. I had the Corner Cobb salad and it was very good and the dressing was tasty.

Love the fresh quality food first concept. This spot has some different flavors than what I've seen from restaurants with similar farm to table concepts. I opted to build my own bowl which was probably a mistake since I didn't know what I was doing. I ended up with a chicken bowl with five different sides that wasn't my favorite. If I went again, I would def try one of their special bowls, probably a better first impression.

quick dinner. really liked this place. shame there aren't any in california. ordered the el jefe w chicken (they didn't have avocado so subbed w onions) and my bowl sort of became a frankenstein creation lol but it was great! huge huge portion of food like i didn't even come close to finishing. food seems fresh and tasty and i had a tea on the side (they have agave sweetener to make your drinks sweeter which i LOOOOVED) overall cool little place . really liked the food and the vibe 3.8/5

I did the build your own bowl where you pick your base, 5 toppings, a protein option and a dressing. The chicken protein made my bowl $13.71 after tax. The bowl was big enough for 2 meals so I ate half and stored the rest in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. I made sure to get the dressing on the side. The ingredients were super fresh and very tasty. The sweet potatoes were my favorite part of the bowl. The chicken was fresh off the grill. Staying nearby at the Graduate hotel and I loved having a healthy and filling option just a short walk away.

I have triumphed over my fear of Roots' raw chicken. Or maybe, then, Roots has triumphed over me as I continue to eagerly purchase. I love their chipotle tabasco intensely. I have three other Yelp drafts mentioning the sour savory foods kick I've been on recently, I believe my love for their chipotle tabasco is part of it. My order has tended to be the Talladega with pickled onions instead of red, a different cheese (usually feta) instead of cheddar, and something more substantial like sweet potatoes or broccoli to replace the pimento peppers. To be fair to the cheddar, I've never tried it. However, I associate it with pre-shredded, starch-coated cheddar. Same with the pimento peppers- before this review I thought they were just red peppers. I may try the original soon, with pickled onions instead of red. The hot honey chicken has never done me wrong.

This is the best Roots location! When I moved to the area, I was happy to go to Roots as it was a go-to for me. But this location is the best! The staff are kind and actually give you amazing portions. Everything tastes great. The brown rice was always cold at the Roots I used to frequent - here it is warm! There's a fair amount of seating and it's cute inside. I'm so happy to have a healthy option for meals.

    The topping?

I ordered spinach and kale and I got all spinach. It was a byo and I ordered cukes, garbanzo, red onions and double feta. There was hardly any of these things on the salad. For over $16 plus the fees I got a HALF of a bowl of spinach, NO KALE and a minced up bit of the other items ordered with dressing. I'm so unhappy with this food. With delivery I spent $27!!

I love the variety of salads they offer. Everything is fresh and well-seasoned, and the flavors always work so well together. It is a great spot for a light but filling lunch.

Really good, hefty salad bowl! I got chicken, sweet potato, pickled onions, an egg, and tomatoes with kale and Arcadian mix. You get a protein, 5 add ons, and 2 bases I believe. You definitely do not skimp out on the chicken/protein which is nice! But I wish they had more options for meat, excluding tofu. The lemon tahini dressing is also super good! Will be getting this again!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I honestly have dreams about their salads. I wouldn't even consider myself a salad girl but this spot is my go-to on Franklin. They pack their salads full and all the ingredients are tasty on their own. I make my own salad with all of their roasted ingredients it's one of my favorite meals (yes, I know that's crazy to say about a salad but it's true.) The service is always consistent and they have a great outdoor seating area.

A pretty basic bowl place with healthy options. Choose between a rice or salad base and go from there. I feel like this is a solid place for fast and casual food, but would say that it is a little pricey considering the composition of the bowls. While the bowls are large and I definitely had enough for dinner leftovers, it was a pretty hefty portion of rice rather than the chicken or other toppings. But all that being said, I still enjoyed the bowl and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice (could definitely set down and get work done here). Give this place a try!

My husband and I went on a late Saturday afternoon and we were seated immediately. We shared the Fido's Fries as an appetizer and I got the Chili Cheese Dogs as my entree. Almost everything could be made veggie or vegan so I asked for the dogs to be veggie. My meal also came with a side so I got the frickles (fried pickles). The Fido's Fries were beer battered fries, topped with cheese, bacon (we got the pork option but they have soy), scallions, & sour cream (on the side). The fries were absolutely delicious! I loved my chili cheese dogs as well. It was a very generous portion because it was two dogs and a ton of frickles. As a dog lover, I adored all of the dog art & statues around the place. The menu is even dog themed. I mean they call appetizers kibbles & bits. That could not be any cuter! There is indoor seating (with a bar) and outdoor seating. As you can probably already tell, the restaurant is dog friendly (with their outdoor area). They even have a dog friendly menu (called puppy meals). Service was superb! There is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found free parking a few blocks away. My mom is a vegan and we sometimes struggles to find creative meals when she visits. I will definitely be taking her here next!

The space has a slightly dim, intimate feel with dark red walls and thoughtful details--even the plates feel intentional. The food is the real star. We had the tasting menu, and everything was absolutely delectable, aside from the duck (purely personal preference). I sincerely appreciate the choice of vegetarian, vegan, or omnivore options for the tasting menu -- that's quite special. You somewhat go in blind as to what you'll be served, which I really appreciate. For the omnivore tasting menu, there was a lot of seafood used, which I loved. The ingredients were married together well in each item. The price felt well worth it for the experience. They also offer a wine pairing for those interested. I'll definitely be coming back. The space is modern and elegant but still cozy, with soft lighting, subtle earth tones, and an open layout that balances intimacy and energy. Service was outstanding from start to finish, attentive, informed, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. Let's get into the food, because this was one of the most exciting and consistently excellent meals we've had in a long time. We started with They Might Be Tostones, a clever and beautifully layered dish with Murasaki sweet potato, lime-pimentón crema, and chili crisp. It was punchy, bright, and balanced. The Warm Rustic Baguette with whipped butter and sea salt may seem simple, but it was divine, crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect for lingering. Dirt Candy, a medley of seasonal vegetables with toasted pistachio ail lade, was vibrant and thoughtfully composed. The Big Eye Tuna Carpaccio with red miso-citrus bagna cauda and delicate shoots was fresh and refined, with a perfect acidity and richness. We moved on to heartier plates like the Ricotta Gnocchi with Italian sausage, peppers, whipped ricotta, broccoli rabe, and chili flake. The gnocchi were pillowy and deeply flavorful. The Kabocha Squash & Farro with lump crab, pancetta, and miso butter was savory, slightly sweet, and full of texture. The Pan Roast with flounder, mussels, fregula, and smoky shellfish sugo was bold and briny, with layers of flavor in every bite. Two pasta dishes also stood out, the Ravioli di Manzo with Barolo-braised beef and Parmigiano was rich and comforting, while the Plin Piemontese, filled with pasture-raised pork and finished in crema di parmigiano, was elegant and silky. For dessert, we shared all three options and each one brought something different. The Citrus plate with steamed lemon pudding and lemon curd was light, tart, and texturally playful. The Cheesecake with maple mascarpone and cranberry compote was creamy, nutty, and not overly sweet. But the star was the Chocolate Fondant, extra dark, gooey, with salted caramel gelato and hazelnut crumble. An absolutely unforgettable finish. OakLeaf is a standout. Every dish felt thoughtful, seasonal, and beautifully executed. We will absolutely be back.
