Chicken Tikka Masala and Sweet Chili Garlic Gobi
    Chad P.

Great to finally have an Indian restaurant in Pittsboro! Had a chance to talk with the owner at pickup, and they're currently only offering takeout and delivery, but aiming to open for dine in in the coming months. We ordered for the first time and enjoyed the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Sweet Chili Garlic Gobi, and Naan. Food was hot, fresh, and the vegetables were crisp and well cooked. For a brand new restaurant getting its bearings in a new town, the first experience couldn't have been better. A couple opportunities as they grow - consider making the rice portions a little bigger with each main dish; also, the naan was a tad dry/crisp but the flavor was fine. Hopefully they add Kashmiri or Peshwari Naan (can't remember which - but it's got a sweeter filling) down the road! Glad to have a fresh, new cuisine option in Pittsboro!

They don't use ghee!! Only butter that means anyone who can't eat butter cannot eat in this restaurant. That is a total bummer.

Everyone was super friendly from the hostess, waitervl etc. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala at spice level 4, and it was absolutely delicious. The spice level was perfect for me--definitely had some heat without being overwhelming. My husband ordered the House Special Chicken Biryani, which included both lamb and chicken, and he really enjoyed it. I'd say his dish was closer to a spicej that's level 3. Before our meal, we were served complimentary crackers and chutney, which were fantastic and a great introduction to the flavors we would enjoy throughout dinner. One thing that really stood out was the portion size. The servings were enormous! These days, with grocery and gas prices being what they are, it's refreshing to find a restaurant that gives you so much food for your money. We both had plenty left over to take home. Great food, generous portions, and a wonderful first Indian food experience. We'll definitely be back!

We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering and I was instantly in love with the decor and the friendliness of both the host and server. We began with water to drink, me skipping a mango lassi because I had decided I would have a dessert today since it had been awhile. My friend was a newbie to Indian food so I ordered for us and kept it simple. Palak Paneer and Chicken Mango Jalfreezie, with garlic naan. The papadoms and sauce were tasty and always a nice nibble while we wait for our dishes. Everything arrived hot and fresh and nicely presented. We were advised if we needed more rice to just ask. This is when the disappointment hit for me. While both dishes were good food, cooked well and nicely presented, the true Indian flavors were missing. I also did not detect mango in the dish that should have been flooded with that flavor. I do order my dishes mild, but I always do, and while that does impact the heat which I cannot tolerate, it has never once impacted the full flavor of all the spices. Until here. So sad, as someone who almost craves those flavors and had been looking forward to them all day. I've gone back and forth as to whether to give three or four stars, because everything really was nice but if I go to an Indian restaurant I really am hoping for Indian flavor. It was missing. If I could give 3.5 I would. My big question is always, would I return? I will not. I live in High Point and will continue to dine at the numerous Indian spots near home.

Food was delicious, table settings were very neat, and our server was a very nice guy from New York. The flavors are always spot on and the food tastes truly authentic. It reminds me of home every time. I usually order the tandoori items, dosas, and their famous bullet naan. The curries are rich and flavorful and everything is made with so much care. While I'm not a vegetarian, my family is, and they always have a great experience here. The paneer tikka masala and malai kofta are their absolute favorites and I've enjoyed them too. Since it's located at the Days Inn, parking is never a problem. There's always plenty of space which makes visiting really easy. The staff and owners are incredibly warm and friendly. They make you feel welcome and genuinely care about your experience. If you're anywhere near Southern Pines, make sure to stop by. This place is truly a gem.

The moment I walked in, I was hit with those warm, spicy Indian aromas that instantly make you hungry. Friendly staff got me seated right away. The menu is huge, so I asked my waiter for recommendations. Usually a bit of a gamble, but this time it paid off big. He suggested the Cutlet Chaat, Saag Paneer, and Mango Lime Chicken. Every single dish was outstanding--deep, layered flavors, perfectly tender chicken, and that fresh, warm naan that pulls it all together. Each bite just lit up my taste buds. This is easily one of the best Indian meals I've had anywhere. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is solid, the options are plentiful, and everything comes out looking and tasting fantastic. I wish I could pack the whole place up and bring it back to my neighborhood in Columbus. If you're anywhere near here, make Lime and Lemon a priority. It's that good. I'm already thinking about dragging some friends back this week so we can all enjoy it together.

It was not busy on a Sunday and I'm guess it's geared towards people that work in the area on weekdays. Walking to the bathroom and bypassing the vacant security desk for the building was a strange experience. The menu is South Indian; there were some differences in what was online and what I found on the printed menu, but it was a wide and interesting selection with abundant options for special dietary needs. I ordered a dosa and an appetizer, which were splendidly presented on banana leaves. I asked for my Indo-Chinese paneer extra spicy, and they seemed a bit skeptical, but it did deliver a heck of a spice kick and an abundance of leafy tropical flavor (full curry leaves are common in this cuisine). The dosa was large, extra thin, quite salty, and satisfying. A chai was small and unsweetened. I didn't get quite the bustling atmosphere that their other location (in Cary) possessed and the menu for some reason did not have the kottu paratha I wanted to try, but I would definitely recommend anyone seeking some South Indian food to come here.

It's a casual restaurant but all the decor and the modern touches with Indian influence gives it a great sultry vibe. Food: top notch. Thus far is our favorite Indian restaurant out there. The naan itself is freshly made and SOFT, thick, and has a nice chew. Best naan in the triangle area. Highly recommend the bread basket as you get a good variety of their different naans. The paneer pakora is crispy, piping hot, and has a great cumin and lightly salted taste. In the middle is mint chutney so it's has nice layers of flavors. The lamb palak was super tasty as well! The spinach was nice clay cooked where it was creamy with no bitter after taste. The lamb was fall apart tender! The lamb jalfrezi was also a show stopper, it was spiced, slight tomato sauce, and lambs again, super tender that can be broken up with just fingers. The malai chicken was good, but wasn't our favorite. The meat is tender, but I felt like the flavor wasn't hitting as much as the other two. It was lighter and even with the lemon it still felt like it was missing something. Overall: will definitely be coming back!
