I Love this location. Fully stocked with everything from Home Decor, Fresh Produce, Vitamins, Liquor etc. My daughter told me this location had the Mushroom Coffee and she was so Right. I was able to buy a variety of not only Mushroom Coffees but a variety of Matcha. The store was very clean and the staff is very Personable and Friendly. I will definitely revisit this location on regular especially when visiting my Family! The parking is ok. I suggest parking in the back because of you park in the front it can get congested and hard to back out to leave. They have a lot of Fall decor outside. Smells inviting. read more

Really glad I live close enough to here that I can pop by frequently! Most times you never know what amazing deals might surface. One of the times I was recently here they had Kraft Premium single sliced cheese at a huge discount and I regret only having bought one pack. Another time they offered Sabra hummus with pine nuts on sale when all the other flavors weren't which was ridiculous because pine nuts are my favorite and they are known to be an expensive ingredient! I would say some of the more standard groceries that you would likely find elsewhere aren't as deeply discounted for obvious reasons. I almost always find something to take home and knowing how much I saved compared to a Safeway or QFC always brings me immense satisfaction! read more

The rest of the items are the same product but a different manufacturer and are a higher price, but they're all put into one location on the shelf. there is no price listed on the shelf for the more expensive product. I am writing to formally report a horrific experience I had on January 18, 2026. During my visit, an employee harassed me, followed me throughout the store, and repeatedly argued with me. Despite my multiple requests for her to leave me alone, she continued to yell at me loudly from cash register 3 down. Most disturbingly, the manager on duty witnessed this behavior and failed to intervene or tell the employee to stop. Other staff members claimed they "didn't know what was going on" instead of helping. I ended up returning my purchases and leaving because of this hostile environment. This is an unacceptable way to run a business. I expected a follow-up regarding how this is being handled. Steve have not called me so he must agree with this awful behavior Also. The store is clean and well organized. It's easy to find what you need. Sometimes the lines are long, but overall it's a good place to shop.

They've started gouging. We knew it would happen. For example, the Hollis St. coffee bags are nowhere near the weight printed on the bags. The cereals are now about the price you'd pay at another grocery store, even though their a year or so out of date (promotional material for The Olympics on the box, for example). The produce section is a joke. A box of spring mix I bought recently lasted all of two days before turning to sludge. It must have been weeks out of freshness when I bought it. Greed. The store is reasonably clean and well-lit. Projects are organized on the shelves are you can more or less find what you need. As with all Grocery Outlets, actual inventory is a surprise, so you may find what you need and you may have to go elsewhere, but you come for the bargains. The thing that drives me nuts is checkout. I tend to go infrequently, as it is out of my way, and therefore buy a lot at a time. At the checkout line I am frantically sticking groceries in bags as fast as possible. The pile is getting taller and taller. The line of customers behind me is getting longer and longer. And the cashier just stands there watching. Here's an idea: how about you Bag Groceries!? You know, like every other grocery store out there in this country. I know it is the norm to not bag in some other countries, but that isn't this one. I can't shop here with my kids in tow because I can't handle all of the work of putting groceries in the belt, watching a kid, putting them in bags on the other end, putting the bags in the cart, watching the kid, paying, watching the kid. Keep tabs on the prices that are shown on the shelf. Always watch as the prices of your items show up on the screen as they are scanned. Check to be SURE that you are being charged the EXACT price you saw on the shelf. Many products are simply not priced at all. And some products might be priced, for example, $3.25 on the shelf...but you will be charged more at the register. Always get a receipt at the checkout counter. read more

0 stars if I could! Upon checking out from my grocery trip 1/30/24, the cashier, Oden was making conversation. Started it off with "what are you up to tonight?" To which I replied, "cat food!" As that made up the majority of the purchase. His immediate response was "keeping that pussy well fed, huh?" While laughing it off. I finished checking out and called to report this incident to the store manager, Brian, immediately after leaving the store. I didn't feel safe confronting anyone in person. He let me know he'd have a conversation with Oden. I escalated this issue to corporate because I do not want this happening to another customer. It's not right, and it is deplorable, offensive, disgusting behavior that Grocery Outlet should not tolerate in any of their stores from employees. I'm writing this review here because after emailing corporate, they emailed me back 2 weeks later (2/15/24) with a standard "apology", then letting me know they would be forwarding the information to the store manager. Since "Each of our stores is independently owned and operated and we have forwarded your comments to the store operators." It's now been 2 months and I've heard nothing. Good to know this is how Grocery Outlet treats their customers and their concerns about predatory cashiers. read more

So I've been here only twice and both times the cashiers didn't seem polite or maybe I'm misinterpreting their body language? Selection is good and inexpensive but the first time, the cashier kind of slammed food down for me and the person behind me and seemed upset that I left the food in the handheld cart, but there's no room to take it out? The second time I bagged my own stuff because the first person was so rude last time, but something also seemed off this time. They responded in mutters and I'm not sure if they were upset with me too. Maybe the cashier just didn't want to talk or had a long day. I am used to the Grocery Outlet business model now, and once you get used to your local store you start to know what to expect in terms of stock. I usually reserve the majority of my groceries to this store, and just get specially items (God, are egg whites s specialty item?!) elsewhere. I cook every night, or damn near close, and GO has pretty much everything I need, and sometimes fun things I can try (game hens). It's perfect for: filling the freezer for kids on summer break, gluten free stuff, pantry staples, trying expensive items like frozen diet desserts (looking at you, Artic Zero), and meat/cheeses. Granola bars are crazy cheaper here! If you're sleeping on GO you're missing out. Period. read more

Most disrespectful cashier I've ever experienced. Walking up to the cash registers and as we do one out of the two registers that are open puts up the "closed checkout lane" sign, so as we approach the only lane opened we noticed the dud running the register is just casually on a phone call like he's on his break, a little confusing if he's available but we continue because again, he's the ONLY cashier available ( side note we had butterball gift checks from my job so we couldn't of used a self check out lane to pay for groceries). So as we're approaching my boyfriend is just being respectful asking if he's available , dude at the cash register proceeds to say " the lights on and I'm clearly at the register" ......acting like him being on the phone isn't confusing if he can check us out or not. Even though his initial comment was clearly rude my boyfriend still continues to be respectful simply saying " that's true, but isn't it respectful to just ask?" Because yet again,a dud working in the cash register on his phone isn't usually normal, you're on the clock getting paid so get off your phone and do your job it isn't rocket science. Dud proceeds to double down and says "no isn't respectful" in the most snarkiest of tone. The guy also looked about 50, so it's crazy that at his grown age he doesn't know simple respect, especially in the customer service field . read more

I took the chance and returned to this store after about a year since my traumatic experience and I will say there has been some positive changes made that are noticeable. There are more friendlier cashiers and people of color who work here and are visible and have been very welcoming and helpful. The store doesn't feel as negative and dark and it had felt before and it feel more community oriented. My new experience here feels that people and communities of color have been acknowledged and recognized and action has been taken to improve the experience of people of color. I know it is an ongoing process but I am glad to see changes for the better of the neighborhood and community at large. Thank you for taking action in making positive changes. read more

last time I went shopping at this store. My cart got really full and security kept following me around everywhere. I went every aisle when I asked the manager why is the security guard following me she said he wasn't. What are you talking about Lewis he like me because every time I went in the mail, he was there, it was kind of creepy and unnerving for them to think I was shoplifting at grocery outlet. Not really a cheap grocery outlet , very few discounts and specials, all prices at least $1-2 higher than SoDo location and Rainier beach . Well I guess for the area it has to kEep the prices high to keep up with rent . Of course compared to all the gourmet supermarkets in the area its pretty cheap . The staff is unfriendly and kinda just do their own thing not paying attention to customer, most cashiers are especially rude which is very strange for this area The shelves aren't icily stocked and this store has a huge selection to choose from and nicely arranged compared to other locations. This is my favorite branch that I've been to so far. Much better selection than others. Of course, you should still check expiration dates and expect that your food may taste different regardless (I bought some Rice Krispies treats that were within the fresh date but didn't taste the same as usual). The produce here is decent for a grocery outlet. The cilantro in particular is nice and leafy, not wimpy and wilted like other places can be (I'm a cilantro fan). I also like browsing the home goods sections. You can never go wrong with a warm, plush blanket in Seattle! This is a great place to go Christmas shopping for cute home/office decorations too! I haven't been here for any other holidays yet but I'm excited to see what Grocery Outlet offers then...especially for Halloween! I really enjoy shopping at Grocery Outlet back at home because the prices are affordable. And so while my husband and I were staying in Seattle for vacation, I thought it would be good to stop by here to pick up some groceries since this was nearby. Located on a corner with it's own parking lot, we pulled up and walked inside. Plants displayed on shelves outside are for sale right by the entrance. Inside, we immediately saw Halloween decorations placed out for sale. Anyways, we headed to the back for the produce. I was a little disappointed that there were no fruits sold loose or individually. All of the fruits was packaged so you would purchase it in bulk (example: 5 pound bag of oranges and 5 pound bag or apples). Although I do shop at Grocery Outlet back at home often, I never realized that fruit could not be purchased loose. And being on vacation, I just didn't think we would be able to finish a 5 pound bag of fruit. So sadly, we left empty handed. But if I had shopped at this market on the very first day of our trip, I would have purchased fruit here. Aside from my situation, the store was clean. Like the selection; shop here often for certain things. Some of the employees very blasé about masking; others simply clueless about what social distancing means. If my cashier is wearing a mask , that doesn't help much when the other cashier is maskless and chatting her up while my groceries are rung up . And one worker with a mask keeps walking past me very close, within a foot. One cashier who is always always talking at the top of her lungs about some drama or other . And interrupting other cashiers at work to do it. Annoying before covid; life threatening after . I generally shop as this store, but I will never go back. The last time I was in I had a very strange interaction with one of the cashiers. She kept glaring at me and appeared to be saying things under her breathe. I'm not sure if she thought she knew me, but I've seen her treat customers rudely before. I just find this place seriously soul crushing. The place is just sad and reeks of desperation. Yes, you can get some good deals on things; They had fire logs at a great price lately, and I scored some diet coke for a 2 bucks a case a while back. But the fresh food is scary, the frozen food always seems thawed and re-frozen and the fruit looks like something fruit flies would turn down. But worst of all is the sad, downtrodden staff.
