Han's is a life saver. You want an awesome, made on the spot deli sandwich? This is the place to be. They have a "sack special" that's $4.99 and gets you a huge sandwich, small bag of chips & a 12oz can of soda. It is unbeatable. No seriously. Fucking go there and buy that tomorrow, it's the best deal in town. Especially on First Hill where prices are sometimes way too high for no reason at all. One other thing I must stress... I know it's Yelp and all, people here probably don't drink energy drinks... but... If you're a fan of Redbull, buy a Redbull here. It is cold as ice. Cold as fucking death. I liked Redbull before, but after having a Han'bull my life changed. It is the awesome-maker, the hangover cure. It's like being reborn. Deli "Sack Special" & a cold as fuck Redbull and you are fucking set on a lunch break, after work-quick meal, day off kickin' it awesome day, etc. Mr & Mrs Han hold down a nice and tight shop, they recently got a new security camera system it, the place keeps it tight. Great wine & beer selection for being a small place, and actually great prices on them as well. I mean I can go on all day, it's one of the best 'corner stores' in the city. I got love for M Street Market a block down, but if you really want a great Deli Sandwich at a good deal, hit up Mr & Mrs Han at Han's Deli. They will always have my business. read more

'Neat thing 'bout dis place is that they have wide variety of products and goodies. From instant noodles to korean fancy pears to organic soymilk to wine to made-to-order sandwiches! The motherly-feeling female owner served me a few sandwiches here. They all tasted great, despite some language communication issues. I was curious to check the joint out after reading other favorable reviews, and they were among the first foods I "ate out" with ever since moving to Seattle. Hans was a beacon of light in a dark time during covid. HANS is hands down THA MAN! We came into town after being displaced after the portland fires pushed us to Seattle during Covid and the owner saw our sad faces just trying to score a meal at 11pm and literally everything else was closed. He opened his doors to us for a quick drink and some food supplies after already being locked up and closed. That's a real homie southern move and I'll forever remember it. I make sure to stop by this little convenience store every time I visit my family in Seattle. I like going to Han's because their prices are reasonable and just as good or cheaper than the QFC down the street. They have a good wine selection and the owners are really friendly. The sandwiches are plain, but they're tasty, a reasonable price, and made with love by the elderly woman there who reminds me of my mom. You can tell she's been making sandwiches for ages. This place has everything that I need in a pinch. Wine, grocery items, snacks, toilet paper, toothbrushes, Advil... What more can you want in a convenience store? read more

I was texting a friend while browsing the beer selection and the owner accused me of logging the beers he had in stock? Even after clarifying that I wasn't taking down all of his inventory and having a completely unrelated conversation, he continued to tell me not to do "that". Nice little gem to just happen upon when you're hungry and in the neighborhood. I had some time on my parking just across the street from this little deli, and my tummy was all, "hey, dummy! Put food in me! Go over there!" So I hobbled across the street and walked in. Very much a Korean bodega. Ordered a roast beef sandwich with everything on it. A little pricey for a sandwich I could've made myself, but made with love by a woman who reminds me of my mom. The sandwich was okay. Wish the bread was of a better quality because the fixings were good. Not exactly a place I would go out of my way to visit. But definitely fills a need. One of my go-to shops. Always there for me when I'm in a bind. As many have said, the drink selection is great. But what makes this place stand out, for me, is the selection of small snacks and quick dinner options. Canned soups and broths, noodles, cereal, chips, you-name-it. If you're on the verge of starving and you can't find the time for that necessary grocery run, this place has got you covered. They even carry kitchen supplies and quick bathroom necessities, if you suddenly, say, run out of paper towels. Also, this is a great place to pick up those 'vending machine' snacks you munch on at work. You'll save money buying them here, and you'll get a better selection to choose from. I haven't tried the sandwiches, so I can't comment on those. But I easily find myself stopping by here at least twice a week to pick up the quick little essentials. The full-size grocery stores are a long walk from where I'm at, so having this next door - especially with their great hours - is a big convenience. read more

Recently updated - Store is clearly in violation of VISA vendor contract terms regarding debit card purchases. In short, this place is shady as hell. I don't like this place. The owners engage in some shady practices. Here are my observations from the last 2 months of living nearby and occasionally going there, maybe once a week or once every two weeks - 1.) They frequently make errors in ringing up your order. The woman is easier to deal with and will double check if you ask, but the man will not ring up again and if you ask to see the receipt before you pay, you're told to pay and then you can have the receipt. It just seems weird to me that a 6 pack of beer for $9.99 and a soda for $0.89 should be $12 one visit and $23 on another visit. When I was challenging this I was told to "just pay so the man behind you can make his purchase." The hell kind of customer service is that? 2.) I saw a man in front of me in line ask if they had a microwave for a frozen burrito he was going to purchase. The woman said yes and picked it up and took it over to the microwave, then went to ring him up. He came up short and went through the purchases and their costs and was confused as they arrived at the same total, then the woman told him it's $0.40 to use the microwave. He was upset that this hadn't been told to him before, and I can't blame him. Everyone else in line was pretty aghast at this, too. 3.) They never card you before selling you cigarettes or beer, always after money has exchanged hands. It's happened to other people in line and myself. Your items get rung up, money is handed over or a card, and once the transaction is cleared the items are packed in a bag along with your receipt. And then before you can leave you're asked for ID. WTF? Aren't you supposed to ask that BEFORE selling to someone? And what, if the person isn't of age you keep their money and the product? read more

Yes, Han's is a life saver. I live on First Hil and the nearest grocery store is the QFC on Broadway. I was really surprised at how many different items they carry...I needed a bottle opener once and they had one! The prices are great as well. I find items that most items here are cheaper than QFC. read more
