I'm a regular at this grocery outlet, I always come to get a few snacks or to make a quick meal to get through the day which is the fine part. The issue is checking out and receiving a nasty attitude from a specific employee/cashier. She's an elderly woman, white and has blonde hair. She keeps intentionally ignoring me when ringing up my items, when I've witnessed she's golly and talkative towards customers before and after me. There were rare times when she would actually speak to me but it would be with a rude, condescending tone. Not a very welcoming or kind behavior, definitely lacks customer service or very picky when enforcing good customer service. Please choose better employees that actually is friendly and respectful to all. read more

My review today isn't about the store but more so the employee janny, Everytime I come here she greets all the customers the same color as herself and not everyone else. she will completely ignore me and have a conversation with either her co workers or the people behind me. I came to this location for the first time since I was in the area running errands. Surprisingly, this store is less busy than the other one I frequent. This one was also organized differently where everything was on the opposite side e.g. produce was on the left, liquor was on the right along with the candy/snack aisle. I also liked how they seemed to have more options than most. I liked the Auntie Annie's frozen meals as those have gone up in price usually now $6-8 in higher end grocery stores. I love the variety of items and I love all the healthy and Keto friendly items they have. They have great discounts and many times clearance food items are even lower priced. I didn't know Grocery Outlet snuck into North Highlands! We needed to stop by Walgreens and noticed a new Grocery Outlet (yayyyy) and decided to stop in since we needed a few items (my famous words each time I walk into a GA lol). The new store is a smaller than other locations but didn't lack the variety GA is known for. I appreciated the extra wide isles, shelves and produce stocked well, shiny, cement style flooring similar to Costco, and Kombucha was $1.49, say what?!?! I had never seen diet Ginger Beer before (brand was from Bermuda, how about that!) and it was delicious; going back to stock up this week! Captain Crunch was .99 for the large box woot woot! Decided to be a kid again and purchase some when I need a break from tofu smoothies or steel cut oats for breakfast. Nice GA location, will definitely be back. read more

VERY RUDE STAFF. The manager was VERY RUDE and just as unprofessional as the staff. Staff yelled at me over the "store policy" of no personal bags in the store. A "store policy" that they clearly made up! No Sign or anything in the store. The manager kept coming up with an excuse as to why on wasn't up anywhere. I've shopped at this store for years and never had a issue until today. As soon as i walked in there, I was yelled at "HEY HEY HEY, HER BAG!" everyone looking at me now, and I turn around to a guy with his hand out telling me to give him my bag if I wanna shop in the store. I found lots of things I didn't know I was looking for this morning. Haha The cashiers were very friendly and even acknowledged customers as they walked in. The store was very clean. I was able to find some good stuff for super cheap. I will probably do a regular shop next time, this time I was just here for some snack stuff. There are signs posted everywhere about masks and social distancing but I've noticed other shoppers disregard the precautions. I myself and maybe 3 other shoppers along with the cashiers had masks on. No I don't like having to were them, they make my face sweat but I'm not taking any chances. I was yet again disappointed while shopping at this market. The store credits customers with a $5 off coupon for purchases of $40 or more. At the Citrus Heights location earlier this month I was unable to use $5 coupon because I didn't provide cashier with coupon at the beginning of the purchase. Today, I provided the coupon at the beginning of the cashier ringing up my purchases and she neglected to credit me with coupon. After realizing I did not receive my credit, I returned to the store and was advised that they would have to refund and then ring up the items again in order to get $5. So what good is a coupon when so much is involved and the store does not hold thei worker responsible when they make an error. read more

I went in to pick up a few things on my way home from work. After being greeted I was told I couldn't take my backpack in the store. If I wanted to shop I would have to leave my backpack at the register. I have gone into the store since it opened with my backpack. I have kids, it's my purse! There is a Food Source in Rio Linda that doesn't offer the greatest selection of products, so I usually drive to Natomas to do my grocery shopping there.
