When I first walked in to this store, the customer service guy was on the telephone, but he came and found me in the aisle that I was in within a few minutes, with a big friendly smile and an offer to help me find anything that I was looking for. I told him that I'd like to buy some treats and toys for my cat, and he directed me to the cat section, then told me to let him know if I needed any more help. Quite a bit of this lovely store is devoted to doggos, but there is a substantial section devoted to cats as well. I have the best cat, and I was happy with the treats and toys available for him at Sam's. I took a photo of everything that I ended up purchasing except for a last-minute find - a fake peacock feather for just 1 dollar and 49 cents! What an excellent value. The cat treats and toys were a good value as well, especially for the high quality of most of the ingredients in the treats. Imagine my surprise when reading the ingredient list for the Cat Lobster Treats when I found out that actual Lobster is one of the ingredients in the treats! Tuna was the first ingredient in the Lobster treats, and my cat, Benjamin Kitty, loves tuna. Hopefully he likes these treats, I haven't given him one yet. I was also happy to see that Sam's had the Salmon-flavored Greenies Dental Cat Treats. My cat likes these treats, and the ones that I have at home recently expired. I feed him treats that are helpful for him to pass furballs, and I also feed him the Greenies treats that help with his dental health. Then there are the treats that I feed him just because he loves them. I used to play with my rescue cat every day or almost every day for the first couple of years that I had him, but I haven't been doing play time with him quite that often lately. I've gotten into watching some of Jackson Galaxy's Cat Videos on YouTube recently, and I am reading one of his books right now as well. He says, "Play with Your Cat, Play with your Cat, Play with Your Cat." My cat is extremely athletic, so he really does need frequent play time. When I got home today, I tried out the peacock feather cat toy with Benjamin Kitty for our interactive play time. He really went after this toy, as you can see in the photo. I think it is good for him to have a play time right before I feed him, which I did today and which I will be doing almost every day moving forward, since cats are natural hunters and they are biologically wired to exercise their hunting instincts prior to eating. Cats also tend to naturally hunt close to dusk, so I am going to try to time his play times for around that time moving forward, if possible. The gentleman who helped me at Sam's was understandably a bit frustrated because the computer system there was down today, so he actually had to write down every purchase of mine by hand! I felt badly for him! What an annoying thing to have happen. However, he was also fairly good-natured about this as well, and I was very happy overall with his customer service. The store also smelled really nice when I walked into it, which surprised me. It was a very faint citrus smell. This store does sell a collection of air purification items for pet homes, including sprays, candles, and hanging air fresheners, so perhaps one or more of these products is being used in the store. I don't think I've ever been so pleasantly surprised by the smell of a pet store before... usually they smell like cat and dog food, not an unpleasant smell but not necessarily a super lovely one for humans either. I would definitely return to this store again to buy my cat a few more toys. I really don't think that he can ever have too many new toys (well, within reason, of course), and he tends to be more interested in newer toys, overall. It's so important for my cat's physical and emotional health to prioritize interactive play time with him, and to occasionally buy him new and interesting toys to switch it up. I was happy with my experience at Sam's today, and I am especially happy that Benjamin Kitty liked one of his new Sam's toys so much!

The store had a wide selection of high-quality products, to all types pets and their needs. The store was well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment for my Chihuahua and customers. My pet absolutely loved the treats I purchased, and I could see a visible improvement in her well-being. my pet also received a grooming visit today and it was exceptional and very affordable. Hi, I am Mocha! My…read moremom took me to this place called Paws Up for my first professional big-boy bath and nail trim. I heard them talking about it on the phone making an appointment, and Yilu sounded nice. When we got there, mom told her that I wasn't used to those loud hair dryers, so I might get a little scared. Yilu was super gentle with me. I tried to be brave, but when that dryer went whoosh, I got a bit spooked and, well, had a tiny pee accident. But after that, I calmed down and let her do her thing. By the time my mom came back to get me, I was feeling fresh and looking like a million bucks. (Just look at my photos!) Mom got an instant photo as proof to put it on our fridge. I couldn't wait to get back home to chew on sticks in the backyard and get dirty again. I had a good time at Paws Up, and I know I'd go back there again after all my summer activities.

Same issue as a previous review, we scheduled an appointment and nobody showed up at the time I was 7 months pregnant with twins so making a drive all the way to Redmond wasn't an easy task. I called and waited around for an hour but nobody showed up. He was very clean, smelled really nice, nails were clipped, and his coat was so smooth after they brushed and removed a lot of his undercoat. Eva the groomer thoroughly explained what will be done prior to the service and how long it would take. It did take about 3 hours, she said may be up to 4. Our Goldie was very happy when I went to pick him up. The owner Felicia was also there and she was very nice, friendly, and very knowledgable about dogs. I highly recommend Traci's if you're looking for a groomer for your pet dog or cat. Just be aware it may take longer, but the quality is absolutely the best.

When the appointment was over, they told me they were taking him to the back to trim his nails and to get him used to the back in case it was ever needed. They said they do this every appointment. 20 minutes after he had been taken back, I asked what the hold up was and they let me know it's their unofficial policy to let every single staff member pet puppies. "It's the puppy tax" they said. They have never taken him into the back or trimmed his nails again. Not cute or amusing when you need to get back to your job. They send out confusing and incorrect emails about flea/parasite medications needing to be updated. I also took my puppy in as he was having some diarrhea. They took a $250 fecal sample, told me it was positive and charged me another $200+ for medication to cure it. A week or so later - I get an email letting me know Oopsie!! He was negative and their system was telling them he was positive to a test he had taken from his first apt ever there (which we were told was negative!) The cherry on top was receiving a quote for his neutering for $2,000 weeks after i had booked the appointment. Save your money and find literally any other vet.

Her nails and paws were trimmed with real precision, and the shampoo and conditioning left her coat soft, clean, and beautifully maintained. What impressed me most was how comfortable she became with the whole process so quickly. I had hoped she wouldn't be nervous around the trimmers or the bath, and the groomer's calm, confident approach made all the difference. A fantastic start to her grooming routine.

She spent a LONG time with me (and I felt bad immediately after) for my consultation. Think, an hour. The kitty (Mushy!) came out after about 45 minutes of hiding and probably only because I was there so Mushy felt safe. There was a few sniffs, no successful pets from Brittney, and a good bit of cowering and sidling by me from Mushy. Fast forward to Brittney's cat sitting visits. On the THIRD VISIT (and I do TWICE DAILY visits due to raw pet food, so only a DAY AND A HALF), Mushy came out of her own volition! She was tempted out with treats (thank goodness she's a treataholic), but for her to come out when I'm not there is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Brittney has managed to befriend my SUPER DUPER SHY KITTY in just a day and a half and I'm absolutely FLOORED. Mushy is now coming to meet Brittney in the living room with no treat tempting required! One day, Mushy even met Brittney at the door one day! My cat's going to forget who I am when I get home if she's this happy with her sitter! ;) Brittney also knows the trials and tribulations of a traveler with pets. She knows that I'm a worrier and even sends me pictures of my Mushy from EACH VISIT so I know that 1) Mushy is being taken care of and 2) Mushy is happy (most important). I know Brittney has bonded with Mushy so I'm absolutely relieved to have found such a GREAT cat sitter (who lives BLOCKS away from me!) who takes such phenomenal care of my kitty cat. I know that going out of town is always stressful for pet owners, but I can now travel with peace of mind because I know Brittney is doing a fantastic job. :3 Nothing beats coming home to a happy kitty!!!
