I have been using Groome shuttles to and from the Atlanta airport for several years now. My daughter and her husband moved to Columbus with the Army and I visit frequently. I have always been pleased with the service and the shuttles are very prompt. If your flight arrives early they try and get you on an earlier shuttle too. Before COVID there were shuttles every 30 minutes. Now they are not as frequent but hopefully will be as business ramps up. The Columbus office is spacious enough and the restrooms are fine. I recommend this business for airport transportation. read more

Daughter had a travel credit from a shuttle earlier this year being cancelled. She used that credit for another flight. morning of her flight her flight was delayed an hour and not scheduled to land until 2 minutes before her shuttle. All other shuttles after that are booked. won't issue a credit because it it was the day of, but her flight didn't get delayed until this morning. It took me forever to reach someone and when I did the agent was rude and refused to refund my money. I called them within minutes to say I no longer needed the trip. I will never use the trip. We always use Groome to get to the airport in Atlanta for our flights. On the morning of 10/26/19, we took the 4:15am shuttle because we had an early flight to Hawaii and let me just say I've never prayed so hard in my life. I can't remember the driver's name, but she definitely should not do early morning shuttles because she was swerving all over the place and running off the road. Everyone in the mini bus was just looking around at one another and you could see the fear in everyone's eyes. I could not have been happier when he finally made it to the airport. Pretty shady way to run a business. convenient but a little expensive. website is easy to navigate although it only gives you certain time options based on your flight which is kind of annoying. if i only have a carry-on and i've already checked in i don't need to get to the airport three hours early. Had a reservation for 10:15, I arrived at 10:15. The driver looks at my name on his reservation sheet and tells me I'm full, you will have to get the next one. I waited for the 11 something van, only to be told that it was full. I called groomed and they gave too shits. Told me they were going to put me on at 1 am but to try and get on at 12. The 12 am one was full as well. Now I have the privilege of arriving home at 4 am to only have to be up at 7 am for work. Save yourself the money and just pay the $10 a day a the airport economy lot. It's $50 for a ride with groomes. Why deal with these people over a few bucks. They clearly give 2 shits about their customers! Update: Thank you for your copy paste response. If I could put zero stars I would. I booked this and apparently there was a no refunds for any reason in the fine print. We had to cancel our trip entirely for financial reasons sadly and despite reaching out to cancel this booking a month in advance, they refused to issue a refund. This is terrible business practice, especially when a cancellation is requested so far in advance for financial reasons. I reached out to them numerous times to cancel and follow up and got no response. To anyone that expects any level of customer service, do not use this company. They retained $240 for a service I cancelled a month in advance for no reason. They indicate it is a "credit" but considering I live in a location I'd never be able to it so that is completely worthless. I completely understand a policy like this for last minute cancellations but not a month ahead. In todays environment, I honestly can't believe a company like this is even operating still. I know I'll get a canned, impersonal response stating "we're sorry our policy doesn't align with your travel plans," but obviously that is just the company avoiding the ultimate fact that it's policy is just plain unethical and could care less about customers. I usually ride groome for work and never really had a bad experience until tonight. The drivers I have rode with are friendly, greet you and give a little small speech as you start your journey. Not the case tonight, the driver did say make sure your seatbelts are fasten, nothing. It was so cold inside the van. It was the most uncomfortable long ride I had. Beware! I picked the 9:30am shuttle from the ATL airport to Auburn because that was the only one that would work for me. A few days later, they called me to tell me that they cancelled that shuttle. This was extremely frustrating and I told them that I needed a refund. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE REFUNDS. Even when THEY ARE THE ONES that cancelled the service!! So they literally stole my $49.45 (because I added a tip for the driver which was another huge mistake). You cannot charge someone money, cancel what they paid for, and not return their money. I talked to other riders who were waiting and they remained in the location with the driver for 45 minutes and another driver even turned around after waiting 80 minutes. I'm on the Col-ATL Shuttle, which I've used a handful of times. So many trips, scheduling is easy; was running late, so I smoothly changed my rez on the way to their office. Vans are new and clean-- but the *ride is positively *industrial! Seats are waasy tiny in the back row-- Smaller than an airline seat --and fkn HARD: in 20 mins, I *really need to move, and cannot. Driver is efficient and courteous, buuuut steering is drifty at best. Yeah, *every.single.bump. Even I might not be able to drive better, given the suspension and sail-area, but hope that Groome can negotiate better next fleet. I'll still ride it cause its easy when I'm away for awhile-- you can park free in their lots-- but be prepared. I don't go to Sedona Arizona more than once a year so I will miss the credit. Thieves! I wish I would have read yelp reviews before booking with Groome. They are thieves and I'm out $180. I cancelled 10 days in advance due to serious illness and they will not refund me even after I explained that I will not be be able to travel for several years if ever again, due to the illness. It is stated in their policy that you will be given credit for a future trip to be used within one year. It's ridiculous especially with the state of travel today with so many cancellations and issues due to COVID. You'd think they'd have some compassion for people but apparently they only care about money. I will never ever book with this company and I do not recommend them in the least. I do not recommend using Groome Transportation. I was traveling from Chattanooga to Nashville and our van overheated. We were without air conditioning for more than 30 minutes on a hot day. It was close to unbearable. The driver stopped at a gas station and added water, which was helpful and it allowed the air conditioner to work, but unfortunately, we continued and the van overheated again. We broke down before we got the Nashville Airport. Our driver desperately called for help multiple times, but the folks at Groome did nothing to support us. We were all pretty shocked how they could just abandon us. After being stranded by the side of the road for an hour, a family member of one of the riders arrived was able to take me to the airport. He also took all the other riders to the airport as well. He was amazing and am so grateful for his selfless kindness. I received no apology or reimbursement from Groome. I sure hope the driver was able to get home, as he was left stranded there without any timeline as when they were going to pick him up. They seem very inept at dealing with unexpected circumstances. read more

first off, the guy that answered at the corvallis/albany office was very rude and kept talking down to me. Second they advertised the ride online as being $45 with $5 off each way If booked online. I tried to book online and it wasn't taking the discount off so I called and he charged me more than it said online and only took $5 off one way when it was supposed to be both ways. Arrived perfectly on time, I don't know why it has such bad reviews. I missed the first bus because my flight was delayed and I was able to get the other one with no problem. They on time, one time I moved the pick up date and time and one time I got a credit for canceling. If the policy says no money back on cancellation then no money back. Unfortunately, I was let down by this company; our elderly relative was returning from a family trip was told to meet the shuttle at Orlando International Airport per pick up zone at the time noted in the email response; they are in a wheel chair and had assistance from airport personnel to get them to the proper zone 15 minutes ahead of the pickup time; the shuttle left before this time and did not return stranding them at the airport; no 24/7 operator or chat is available for them to have received assistance after hours and this is completely unacceptable; another shuttle service offered to assist and take them home approximately an hour away for a fee of course; will not recommend or use them again read more

I've been using Groome since 2009. I've been very dissatisfied on the last three rides between Atlanta and Columbus. The firt time I had a reservation for 2:45 got there at 2:33 the drive told me that the shuttle was full but left with the front seat vacant. 2nd: driver was driving like a mad man in Atlanta traffic. 3rd: I'm on the shuttle right now and the driver and the passanger on the front sit are having a very loud conversation that I can hear with my headset on. They are laughing and carrying on like they are the only ones on the van. She just stepped on the brakes really fast because she's so distracted by the conversation. I spoke with the supervisor regarding the first incident and have yet to hear from him. This used to be a very nice shuttle service but it's not anymore. read more

These gentlemen shuttle drivers are extremely proficient and professional. They work as a team and were very effective in helping the multiple passengers in my shuttle both to and from Fort Benning from the Atlanta airport (and dropping passengers at different locations in Columbus when needed). Vans are very well maintained (seemingly new) & comfortable! I very rarely feel the inclination to write a review about a service but this is absolutely top notch. They are convenient, very respectful and tactful at figuring out how they can get you exactly where you need to go in the right time frame. They have an attitude that borderline makes you think they have just volunteered to drive you because they have such an excellent attitude. I could not give them higher marks!! Thank you all again so much! If I ever need to return here for anything I will absolutely be using them again. read more

We used Arizona shuttle for years to transport my mentally handicapped sister from Phoenix to Tucson. They were never very considerate but they weren't inconsiderate either. Since the company was taken over by Groome, transporting my sister has been complete torture. They are consistently late but never communicate. She is not greeted or acknowledged by the driver. They will often overlook her and check everyone else on first. There is no courtesy. This is a management problem. They do not deserve my or your money until they do better. read more

I am/was a regular user of Groome shuttle, however I recently had two unpleasant experiences while using their service. The most recent being that they packed all of their customers onto one of their smaller shuttles, which had already filled up their trunk space. I had to hold my luggage on my lap. After leaving the station, the driver informed us we had to pick up another passenger. This passenger had 3 pieces of luggage, which were distributed across my lap and his. Why on earth would they leave the station on small shuttle (filled to capacity) to pick up another passenger, when they had several large shuttles sitting in the parking lot. The driver also had the air blasting around 95 degrees so I started my 18 hour work day sweating. I have called and left messages with the manager to make him aware of this negligence but he has not returned my calls. This is the second time I've had a problem reaching the "manager". I will no longer be using the Groome Shuttle. I have found several airports near the airport that offer parking for $4-$5 a day with an included shuttle ride to the airport. There's no point in paying premium price with Groome Shuttle for an uncomfortable 90 min ride to the airport. read more

Out of all of the shuttles I have taken from MSP to St. Cloud, Groome remains the all time worst. Every drive I take with them arrives 30-45 minutes late. Terrible communication as well. I'd rather take a Greyhound or Jefferson lines. Hell I'd rather walk then deal with their bullshit. read more
