We've noticed in the past couple times with our dogs, the haircuts got worse and worse every time. And their work was just getting sloppier. We understand that a mistake or an accident may happen once but literally twice in a row now it's kind of ridiculous and today was the last straw. They are not careful, and reckless. I brought my dog in today for a wash and HAIR cut but they went to the extent of clipping my dogs ear. When I went to pick up my dog his right ear was covered in blood. 3 times I have asked for the schnauzer cut and when I picked her up they had cut all her hair, they said it was too knotted, the first time I said OK and I even tipped the girl, the second time I told her that I had bathe her and brushed her removing all the knots myself and when I picked her up they had cut all her hair again, the same girl said that I didn't do it right so I had to accept it again and i even I tipped her AGAIN hoping that the next time she will at least give me a courtesy phone call before they cut all hair again, nope, she did it again for a third time, she had cut ALL the hair Again I was very upset, when I confronted her, she stated that it was actually harder to shave them than doing the actual schnauzer cut, that it hurts them trying to de-knott them, I found out from my friend in Los Angeles that owns her own pet grooming business that it's just laziness that is easier and faster for them to just cut all her hair, because they do more dogs that way, so don't expect good service from these people. They do whatever they want, they are rude and act a s if they are doing you a favor, I found another pet grooming business on Ann Road and the 95 and they are nice and courteous and also even cheaper, they also assured me that they have no problem doing the schnauzer cut and spend the necessary time to get the knots out. Just got flipped off and cussed out by the two ladies in this business. I was a long-time customer and sadly there is a woman there that does a great job but today it was these two dummies. I brought my dog in for a schnauzer cut. His hair is very very thick (not matted). One groomer was white with blonde hair and the other was darker with long black hair and both had tattoos on their arms. The lighter skin lady told me my dogs hair was matted so she just wanted to shave him. I told her he is not matted at all. His fur is just very thick. He had already had a bath prior to this visit. He was combed and was not matted. The darker skin lady was grooming another dog and began yelling at me saying she was not going to help me or accept my dog. I asked her what her problem was and she started cursing while they bother started to curse at me and the darker skin lady flipped me off and started laughing. The lighter skin lady yelled "why are you still here when we're not going to help u?!" I started taking video of them and took their pictures and they continued to cuss me out. Wow! So much for customer service. If they didn't want the business then they should have told me not to come in but I actually had an appointment. What kind of business is this where a customer gets cussed out and flipped off because they're mad that all they wanna do is shave everyone's dogs and I refused to have him shaved. This place only gets 3 stars. They have a super friendly manager and they take walk ins. My one and only issue is that don't take card payments. I like to use my credit card or debit card to take my purchases and get points. I like to have a history trail. If I could give no stars I would. This place was not at all what I expected. Worst money spent. First of all she was still very damp like they didn't even finish trying to dry her off. I get she has a thick coat but I have groomed her myself and I don't ever leave her like that. She smelled like wet nasty dog. They didn't trim her paws or butt area like I was told and quote based on the price. She still had the same eye burgers from when I dropped her off. I get she's a huge dog but when I groom her she doesn't even move because she's so scared of the vacuum or brush. I was told they couldn't do it because she was moving so much they couldn't control her. There wasn't even brushing down so I paid $80 just so they can shower her. For a place that does this a lot sure did a shitty job. Kept her all day just so I can get her back still wet and not even smelling good. On May 15 my wife had an appointment to drop off our mini schnauzer Tommy. We have been bringing our pets to Grooming Dales for over 16 years to both Cheyenne's and Craig locations. She walked into the the store and was greeted by 2 female groomers that were busy cutting other dogs hairs. One groomer was a white women with blonde hair, tattoos up and down both arms, the other female was a dark Hawaiian also with black hair, dark features and tattoos on both arms-both looking like they jut were released from the state penitentiary and cracked out. My wife asked if she could get Tommy with a normal Schnauzer cut pattern and the blonde female walked over, felt one of his lower legs and said stated right away "he's matted-we have to shave him" and my wife replied, "he's not matted, his fur is just super thick and was bathed yesterday and not combed out on his legs-so it looks or feels like hes matted, but he just needs a comb out". This reply did not matter to this groomer-she still was insistent that he was going to be shaved in the meanwhile she was saying this over my wife and getting louder as my wife was trying to explain. At this time, the darker female groomer chimed in saying "thats it! I'm not not doing it-I'm not working on your dog!!" My wife turned to her and asked her if she was serious?? She wasn't even talking with that groomer about Tommy's haircut- and asked her "who are you? I wasn't even talking with you?" At this point, the darker female groomer started calling my wife a "B" word and started to even throwing up her middle finger to my wife telling her to "just get the F#@!@ out !! Why are you still here!??" My wife felt so embarrassed by these 2 thug type so called women. This was sooooo unprofessional of a business. How could people like this be employed at such a reputable facility. I hope many of the public will read this and beware of these people. Please be careful whom you give your pets to. I have had other issues with this same location in past years- where every time i took my pets in, they were shaved, like the groomers were just super lazy and did not want to give them a pattern cut? Now we know why.....because of these 2 so called professional groomers that dont care for our pets and treat this as just a job, not as a persons love, pride and joy which are our pets. Please be aware and cautious before going here. The other sad thing about this is- we know this owner as he has personally groomed a lot of our pets and when my wife mentioned we know the owner very well- the Hawaiian groomer said "so what? He wont do jack sh#@ !! Which tells me, these people never get fired, reprimanded or disciplined for actions such as this-nor does this business get held accountable when things like this in his stores go wrong because of his employees actions. Do not ever take your animal there. They murdered our dog. We took him in for a wash and they put him in a cage with wet towels over it and FOUR heating dryers on him. Those fans aren't ever supposed to be directely aimed at the animal, much less four of them. They left him in this cage for hours to basically be roasted from the inside out. He was so desperate to escape, he tore all the muscles in his neck, trying to get out of the collar. When they found him, he had injuries consistent with being hung. Thank God our vet saved him that day, but we were warned his life had basically been cut in half and we would lose him soon. He couldn't eat dog food, he had to have boiled chicken and rice. He suffered seizures for the rest of his life, he struggled to walk and had many symptoms of dementia from that point on. Yesterday at just 6 years old, he went into a seizure we couldn't get him out of. And he passes away. His life was cut to a few short years because of this company's lazy negligence. I hope everyday you remember Bear, a sweet gentle dog, who adored my children and protected them like his own pups. I hope you remember you took him from his family. That we had to explain to a four year old, his best friend in the world wasn't coming home anymore. MURDERERS!!!!! read more

I've taken my BabyGirl twice to have her nails clipped. and my mom has taken her boys a couple times also. No complaints at all. The last time it was after 4pm and as I got out of the car I saw the sign on the door that said "Walk Ins Welcome" but the cut off time was 4 so I got back in the car and called. I was told to come on down, I told them I was already there. :) The lady finished the dog she had and then took my BabyGirl. I warned her that it's best that she not see what she's doing and that she's old so please be gentle. The lady was doing a great job until BabyGirl realized what was going on. lol, she got out of the loop and tried to get away but didn't get far. Even while my BabyGirl was putting her mouth around the lady's hand as though she was going to bite, the lady remained calm. She didn't pull her hand away or anything like that, she just continued talking in a soft, soothing tone. I let her know that she didn't have many teeth (they had been pulled)but the guy who was at the register took that as a cue and walked over to help keep her calm. Worst groomers in town. Took my dog there years ago and the person that was supposed to groom her allowed some inexperienced person groom her instead! The woman cut my dog on her abdomen. Not just a little nick- a cut about 1 1/2 inch long. And my dog was a little thing- only about 11 lbs. Even worse, instead of calling me, they held her down till they ran to a store to get some " glue " for skin and glued it closed!!!! Wasn't told till I showed up to pick her up. Took to vet immedialetly and even vet said that was so wrong. Find somewhere else to take your babies. My little dog was so scared from that day forward. read more

I'll start saying that I was a customer of groomingdales on Cheyenne. Last time I went there to drop my dog I received a really bad attitude from one of the employees. I'm work out of town so when I have a chance take my dog to get haircut. Last time I went there one of the ladies saw it and made gestures like I was taking a dead dog to get a haircut. Really bad attitude last time I went there. And here the service is excellent. Complete professional and courteous definitely recommend and coming back here. 12-30-17 I went to pick up my dog yesterday and there was a worker who was heavier set African-American lady who was pulling on the bottom jaw hairs to this poodle she was shaping its face and the poodle kept crying because she kept tugging so hard. I'm guessing she got tired of it and squeezed his nose to try to control his face and it sounded like the dog was trying to sneeze. There was another worker who was caucasian with long red hair and a purple beanie on who was cutting a small poodles nails and each nail she clipped the poodle cried/screamed each nail. Didn't even phase the workers... I left there almost in tears because I couldn't even imagine how they treated my dog. NEVER TAKING MY DOG HERE EVER AGAIN!!! I brought Ellie in today for the second time and she looks fantastic! I had seen a few reviews that were not so good about Groomingdales but so far so good. Summer is here and it is hot as ever so keeping Ellie cool and comfortable is my main concern. I had decided I was going to groom her myself and let me tell you folks... it is hard work! My back was hurting, I was sweating, not too mention I really messed up the cut! I dropped Ellie off at 8:30 in the morning and picked her up around 12:30. The cost was $40.00. My mom and I use Groomingdales for our dogs. I have a cocker spaniel who gets completely shaved when we bring her in. She always looks awesome when she leaves. They even put adorable bows on her ears! Last weekend I brought my English bulldog in just to get her nails cut. I walked in and immediately they took her! Obviously it was going to be a short visit so I stayed inside. It made me so happy to watch the huge smile the groomer had on her face the whole time. She was smiling and talking to my dog. Once she brought her to me (still with a smile) she stated how great my dog did. You can just see the love! I trust them with my babies. read more
