My skin will never be the same. Dr. Grossman recklessly performed two procedures (for social media purposes) on my skin that have left it compromised, damaged and forever changed. To her credit she did make an effort to fix the damage she caused but it was a half hearted attempt and I have been told by 2 other dermatologists that the damage to my skin barrier and lack of proper post care to help heal it, has left me with rosacea, discolored skin and hyper sensitivity. Please, please do not go to her! Find a doctor who cares. Great marketing does not mean they are a great doctor. read more

Dr Grossman is the worst dermatologist that I ever been to. I did the Morpheus 8 treatment and it made my skin / jowels even worse. It also seemed as if Grossman had to force herself to be friendly - she was always very rushed impersonal. She certainly does not seem like a happy kind person. Dr. Grossman was highly recommended by my previous dermatologist. I'm pretty satisfied so far. I've been coming to see her for several years now. My skin has never looked better. Her technique is cutting-edge but she definitely makes sure that you don't look like one of those "over worked" women you see in Hollywood. She has an eye for symmetry and natural beauty. In full disclosure, I have not seen Dr. Grossman but needed a product after a procedure at another location and her office stocked what I needed somewhat urgently. I called and her staff, Lorena, helped me and confirmed they had exactly what I needed. When I asked about parking as I couldn't find any and hadn't ever been to there office in the St John's medical complex, Lorena offered to take payment by phone and to come down and bring it to me so I didn't have to figure out the parking situation. I saw her two times . Each time I waited very long and both times she did not explain procedures . This was upsetting because the second procedure caused bruising and swelling which if I had known I would have not had it done on that day !! This is an actual thank-you note I sent to Dr. Grossman. I decided I could not write a review on Yelp anymore heartfelt than this honest note. I have been going to her for something like 15 years. She keeps my skin healthy; keeps a very natural look with botox and fillers used very sparingly. I am almost 70 and I do not want plastic surgery, a "frozen face" or inflated lips. I recently had "laser" surgery to prevent skin cancers and help with surface wrinkles! I am not trying to "look young"! I am trying to look my best! And appropriate for my age. Dr. Grossman is wonderful. So wonderful, that I drive from Ventura and brave the 405 mess to see her. She is very conservative but, effective and thorough. She will make you look glowing and lovely without being overdone. After moving from San Francisco to So Cal I was scared to find a new cosmetic dermatologist since most people I see in LA, Santa Barbara and OC go waaaaaay overboard with fillers and botox and look older and scary! Dr. Grossman will not make you look like you had anything done--she will enhance your beauty and give you honest advice! Furthermore, the initial consultation is not just about cosmetics. She actually takes the time to examine your skin, moles and take pictures. She is very concerned with your overall health and well being. My husband is a doctor and he hates botox and fillers--he does not want me to do anything. With Dr. G's keen eye I was able to get a mini refresh before my wedding and he did not think I had anything done. This is the way it should be! I have also done Forma in Dr. Grossman's office and was pleased. She was the only dermatologist who told me to stay away from IPL or lasers for freckles and melasma right now as IPL could make it worse. Dr. Grossman is the most thorough dermatologist I have ever been to (and I have been to many). Her follow-up communication and care are amazing. She stays in e-mail contact and is always reachable to monitor you after procedures. She even got right back to me on a weekend when she had a wedding to go to! I am so impressed with how she handles everything--she is incredibly efficient and committed to her patients. Dr. Grossman has a wonderful staff. The girls at the front desk are cheerful and helpful, Office Manager Joy is right on top of everything, and the nurses are first rate. My neck looks amazing, and she was able to tighten my belly without a tummy tuck, all with her various laser beams! I have been going to Dr. Grossman for almost 12 years now, ever since I moved to Los Angeles from NYC. I go to her for dermatological issues as well as beauty procedures, she takes her time and doesn't make you feel rushed in and out of the office. She is an amazingly thorough doctor, and she has an absolutely unbelievable memory and always picks right back up on a topic long ago discussed. On Thursday, I discovered an unusual and painful blemish on my leg and so I called in hopes of getting a Friday morning fit-in appointment - I was concerned that it might become an ER issue over the weekend. Her team had me in at 8:45am Friday morning (and thankfully they did, because it ended up being a pretty serious infection), Dr. Grossman saw me, treated me and told me to touch base with her throughout the weekend on the status of the blemish. Throughout the weekend (3 or 4 times) I kept Dr. Grossman informed through email and she responded within 10-15 minutes each time! On Sunday she decided that she wanted to see me again first thing on Monday morning, so I went in today and from the lab results (she had wisely taken a culture on Friday) learned that it is a staph infection!! Because Dr. Grossman and her team acted quickly and aggressively, I likely stayed out of the hospital this weekend. Dr. Grossman knows what she is doing, she does not mess around and she is a brilliant doctor!! I became immediately interested in fat transfer, Dr. Grossman's signature procedure at my consultation when I saw her photo books of the natural & long-lasting results. When I asked her about it, I was a bit confused at first because her approach to filling was so different from what other doctors have told me in the past. I told Dr Grossman about my hesitation to move forward because I was having a hard time visualizing what she was saying. At her suggestion, I decided to do a "trial run" with temporary saline injections to really see what she was talking about. The moment I saw my reflection in the mirror, I had no more hesitation. I scheduled my fat transfer on the spot, and have never looked better. On the day of my surgery, both Dr Grossman and her O.R. staff made me feel so comfortable and calmed my nerves. Not only did she detect questionable moles in the skin cancer screening that my other doctor had missed but also addressed the pigmentation on my face that has been bothering me for years. Dr. Grossman's office was such a great experience. I went in for a consult and loved the personalized care and attention given by all of the staff. They all were friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr. Grossman made sure to be thorough and answer all my skincare questions. The office didn't rush me or pressure me into treatments that I wasn't interested, but gave me options that would help with keeping looking young. I had never heard of the Kybella treatment until they told me about it and as someone who tends to hid from cameras because of my double chin I was very interested. The Kybella treatment was a simple same day for the first treatment. I would have to say that the results are pretty amazing (already had the 2nd treatment). It is so nice to go to a doctors office and have such a great experience and that they followed up to see how I was doing after each treatment.
